Regina and Scott were very easy to work with. They also gave us helpful recommendations. We especially liked the location of their condo. Easy access to the north or south shore. We enjoyed walking to the Coconut Marketplace for dinner or shopping. The condo was clean and well stocked with an awesome ocean view.

On paper we thought the location was good, but found we had to drive too much every day. We would prefer just walking outside onto the beach. We also would prefer a lanai with chaise lounges. To experience the island, we would prefer staying a few days in the north (Hanalei or Princeville) and a few in the south (Poipu) which was our favorite.

Stunning views of the ocean. Sunrises from the lanai. The condo is well appointed and very clean. The lanai is spectacular. Pool is nice though it’s in a parking lot so not scenic , but it was well maintained and nice to have. The one opportunity is to get a more powerful air conditioner for the bedroom as is it tough to cool it down. Oh and the resident roosters and chickens provide great entertainment.

Beautiful views. We saw a turtle and dolphins off the deck. Check in was very easy. Kitchen and bathroom facilities were very clean and very well stocked with everything we needed. Good Wi-Fi. We use to stay in Poipu but this area has great access to both sides of the island so we spent less time in the car and more time on the beaches. We would definitely recommend staying here and will come back!

The perfect beach cottage. Perfect location on the island for easy access to everything you want to do. We enjoyed the views from the lani and it had everything you needed to make your stay fun. The owners are very welcoming and Marvis is there for anything you need. A must stay place in paradise! We will be back again.

The unit itself was very nice and maintained and had everything we needed. Only complaint was the small amount of time we watched TV there was always an issue with the wi-fi but other than that we had a great time and thank you.

The owners ( Regina & Scott) always update and maintain their places. It is right next to the ocean and the waves breaking is a constant sound that we love. They also supplied beach chairs, beach towels and snorkeling gear. The grounds are also very well kept up. We have also stayed at place on the big island in Kona that the owners also own which was also spectacular.

We had a fantastic time in Kauai. We are explorers, and Scott and Regina’s condo was in the perfect location to allow us to get all around the island. The space was clean and comfortable, and we loved being right on the water. Mahalo for sharing your home with us.

Nice quiet small complex. The grounds were well kept up. The only loud sounds were the occasional resident rooster calls. We didn't go to the pool but it appeared clean. The condo was cutely decorated and the air conditioner in the bedroom worked great. Didn't need an air conditioner for the rest of the space due to a nice breeze always coming from the balcony. All appliances that we used were in good condition (did not use washer/dryer). The only negatives were the dirty vent above the bathroom sink. We found dirt crumbs in the sink everyday from stuff falling from the vent. Could be why the sink is slow to drain. Marvin made a few neighborly stop ins to see how we were getting along. All in all we would stay here again. You can get fresh Malasadas from across the street!

We had an amazing time at Wailua Bay View. The condo had everything we needed. The location is fantastic. Great pool area and grounds. The ocean view is what makes it incredible, though. It makes you not want to leave the condo.

We enjoyed Kauai so much that we wanted to come back and experience a few things we missed last time we were there. We searched and searched condos, but we couldn't stop talking about this one and had to book again. As silly as it seems, the chairs and table on the lanai is what sold us. You can sit above eye level of the railing and enjoy the ocean view. We ate breakfast every morning on the lanai and spent every evening on the lanai. We saw turtles, whales, windsurfing, and regular surfing during our time here. Condo has an amazing breeze if you open the front door shades and back door slider. 45-60 minutes in any direction to check out everything the island has to offer. Quiet and small condo with ample parking and a quiet beach. A quick walk to Coconut Marketplace for souvenirs and food (try the pork fried rice at the thai/chinese restaurant).Condo provides everything you could think of and we appreciate being able to do laundry so its one less thing to do when we returned home. Hosts are pleasant to talk with and communication has always been fabulous. I would absolutely recommend this location, although maybe not to my close friends and family as I like to keep this place as a hidden gem for myself. ;)Thank you both for sharing your home with us! This was such a nice place! Cute decor,well equipped with all we needed. Close to everything. Hosts and woman who is on site so attentive. Thank you! We may be back if in Kauai a gas in.

This condo is kept extremely clean! The location is ideal with the ability to go to the north or south shore areas easily plus shop and eat a few minutes away in Kapa’a. My favorite spot, however, is sitting right on the balcony while enjoying the breeze and hearing the waves. Don’t hesitate to book here.

We really enjoyed the stay and location. Very close to everything. Perfect for 2 people. The place is stocked with everything you need. Very clean, my only complaint would just be to replace the pillow and pillow covers. They smelled and pillows were very flat. Everything else was great.

This is a lovely condo in an excellent location - close to everything you might want to do on the island. The unit was very clean, safe, and as advertised in every way. The kitchen is well appointed with lots of counter space. I didn't use the small pool or BBQ, but they looked great. Only FYI is that Wailua beach (visible from the lanai) is more of a surfer beach than a swimming beach.

I was only able to stay a short time at this property but I wish I could have stayed longer. The wonderful bay view from the balcony invites getting a take-out dinner and some wine and just sipping away out there. It's also very close to Coconut Marketplace if you want to do some shopping.

The good…the island, the view, central location, pool, and Marvis(property manager) The bad….it would be much more comfortable if the unit had A/C throughout the unit..a random TV covered up on the livingroom floor Now the smelly….On our 2nd nite we started to smell a rare sewage smell around 7 pm lasted for a few hours, it only got worse as the week went on. We contacted Marvis and she knew about the issue, she brought over some bathroom spray.. amazing for her to bring that over in the early evening but seriously that wasn’t going to do nothing for a raw sewage smell. We contacted the owners said they weren’t aware of the issue…they offered to rebate us the last for our last 3 nites…we gave them the benefit of the doubt and decided to stay as we had no where else to go they also offered us a gift card we already had our itinerary planned we declined. We completed all of our booked excursions on the 2nd last day of our stay, so we were able to rebook our flights and left a day early(as of yet no rebate, which I was expecting that). Now back to the smell I spoke with the manager and asst manager they informed me that directly across the street from Wailau Bay View Condos is a rare sewage pump house. He said for sometime now there has been issues with the smell coming from it and it was worse than normal when we were there. We said we were leaving early because of the smell there reply was there was already 2 other rentals left early because of the smell.

We loved staying here. The condo was very clean, and had additional amenities like beach chairs and snorkels. This location was centrally located and we were able to get to all parts of the island within an hour or so. There's also many restaurants a short walk away. We loved enjoying the evenings and mornings on the balcony with the sounds of the ocean.

The property is amazing! Sounds of the surf and stunning views abound! But we especially loved the location, which was located strategically between south and north sides of the island. Very close to shopping and restaurants which made quick decisions very easy. Thank you for playing a huge part of our memorable experience!!

The view was stunning! The condo was immaculate, clean, and exactly as described. We enjoyed our stay and would book this property again.

We were very happy with the size of the condo--room to relax. The private lanai was wonderful, the beach view never got old. Marvis was a great resource for nearby recommendations, and she left us a spotless condo to move into. The Wailua River is just down the street and accessing kayaking was easy--same with the Sleeping Giant. A very nice stay. The heavy traffic did make it hard to get around, but that's the price for being in the middle.

Your right in the middle of many site seeing locations. Loved Lydgate beach! View is gorgeous (a little close to the main Hyway. Needs air conditioning for the whole condo, not just the bedroom. Hosts were great!

This place is amazing! The location and views are unbeatable. The only downsides are the place was a little hard to keep cool and the floors were a little dirty. We eventually figured out a good system to keep it a little cooler and there is AC for the bedroom only at night. Overall it is a great place to stay with many of the comforts of home.

We wanted a nice, centrally located spot to explore the islands during our stay. This was a great location for that with a super view!. We had easy trips to both the north and south shores.

We loved the location of this unit! It was an easy drive to any part of the island. There were shops and many restaurants close by. We enjoyed watching the surfers and listening to the waves roll in!

Beautiful condo right on the beach! Clean and beautifully decorated. Full kitchen with everything you would need to cook. Comfortable king size bed with air conditioning unit in room for cooler climate for sleeping. Beach chairs, umbrella, cooler and towels all available for a fun day at the beach, oh and snorkeling gear. Excellent communication with host’s, Regina and Scott. Eastern shore location perfect for touring Southern and Northern shores easily. Walking distance to great restaurants and shops. Overall a wonderfully experience! We will definitely come back to this parade on the beach!

We had an amazing experience. It was super clean and well located. The view of the ocean is amazing and from the living room you can only see the ocean which feels like a cruise ship. Will definitely stay again. Make sure you try the bakery across the street.

Exactly as described, everything met our needs. Enjoyed meals on the lanai watching surfers, turtles, and sunrises. Great location, 30 minutes either way led to great activities. Amazing breeze from front and back of condo/building. Appreciates the ceiling fans and other fans available. Enjoyed dinner at Coconut Market and bringing it back to to the condo as well. Great place for souvenirs as well. Owners were communicative and gave great instructions. Absolutely would recommend.

We enjoyed our stay. The view is exactly what was advertised. The property was clean and felt safe at all times. It was quiet and we had no issues during our stay.

This condo is in a very convenient location. We loved watching the sunrises and surfers from the lanai. The kitchen is well supplied for preparing any meal. There are beach chairs, umbrella and even snorkel gear. We drove into Lihue several times and made very good use of Lydgate Beach Park, which is close. The only caviat is the lack of central air conditioning; there is an air conditioner in the bedroom, but the bedroom door must be kept closed when it is on. It was hot and humid early in our visit, and while the many fans were appreciated, the only cool air was in the bedroom. Traffic is busy close to the condo complex entrance, so you have to adjust your driving pattern to find the best way to make a left hand turn. All in all, this is a wonderful condo, and we wouldn't hesitate to stay here again.

Everything about this condo was “as advertised.” Right on the ocean. Beautiful views. An easy walk to restaurants and shops. And the place has everything including beach chairs, umbrella, beach towels and a small beach cooler. I’d 100% stay there again!

We've stayed at this location on two previous visits to Kauai. However, Regina and Scott were the absolute best and I'm so glad we came upon their listing. The units at WBV are all very similar but it was the little things that made this unit so special. They welcomed us with tasty treats upon arrival and had the perfect amenities to make our stay so easy. We loved having the beach chairs, umbrella, and mini cooler ready for us...which we used every single day of our stay. Of course, the lanai and views at WBV are spectacular and we especially loved the location of this unit, being right at the top of the center stairs (2nd floor) closest to the ocean with no obstruction from other units on the sides. I believe what I appreciated most was the communication with the owners. They communicated so well every step along the way. This is a problem we've had with other WBV owners. I had started by looking at the newly renovated unit right next door and had messaged the owner three times through VRBO, with NO RESPONSE at all. Then, the last time we stayed at WBV, there was potential severe weather coming and we reached out to the owners about any special care we should take with the room if the weather hit. After a delayed response, that owner didn't even know they owned the unit we were staying in. On the contrast, Regina and Scott were absolutely involved and quickly responded to all messages. It was an amazing anniversary trip and we would definitely choose this unit again!

This condo was the best equipped VRBO I have stayed in. It had absolutely everything. The beach stuff was great, the welcome basket of snacks were appreciated. We spent many hours on the balcony watching the fishermen and the chickens! I will definitely recommend this place. Mahalo!
