Beautiful Condo at the Princeville Resort on Kauai,Hi

Hi, Leila, We’ve already written you about our stay. What a gorgeous place to be! We especially loved the restaurant Postcards, and the hospital in Kapa’a was wonderful to Mr.Thank you for the chance to visit Kaia’s, to which we’ll return!

Great stay! The location was excellent and amenities were as described. This charming home has everything one could need and was super clean due in a large part to the no shoes policy. Views were amazing with lush foliage and a partial ocean view. As others mentioned, unit can get a little warm on sunny days in the later afternoon period but quickly cools down with the windows open after sundown. There really isn’t any need for AC. Appliances are slightly dated but in good working order. Bed was soft and comfortable. Lighting was a bit dim in the dining area but sufficient everywhere else. Parking was abundant and environment was super quiet. Pool was closed for duration of stay. The hike down to Sealodge beach was a mini preview of the Kalalau Trail as it was slippery after recent rains. The overall stay was exemplary as was the communication with the host Leila. Everything was explained clearly and timely. Highly recommended!

Our stay was fantastic and the view of the pacific ocean is just stunning. The only thing we felt was a little uncomfortable the first night was the temperature. The room was a little bit hot without A/C. But after we opened the windows and turned on all the fans, it did cool off. Besides this tiny issue, our overall stay was great and we highly recommend this beautiful condo.

Overall it was a lovely experience. We could see the ocean a little off of the deck. The place was small but tidy. It accommodated the two of us nicely. The kitchen could use a refresh and the bathroom has limited air circulation causing a stale odor. The location was ideal for groceries and many sightseeing opportunities nearby. Some of the best snorkeling is available via a pathway from the parking area. We suggest wearing shoes with some traction as the terrain is steep in some areas and holds the moisture. Do yourself a favor and keep walking until you see the beautiful beach. Don’t let the first sight of the ocean make you think there is none. It is spectacular for seeing all kinds of critters in the reef.

My husband and I loved this peaceful, cozy getaway in beautiful Princeville! It was a little more on the "rustic and quaint" side as opposed to a slick, new development, which was just what we needed. Airy, well appointed, quiet, and with amazing sunset views and a bed that was super comfortable for a peaceful night's rest, we would definitely stay here again, and highly recommend!

Beautiful views from the condo… wonderful location. We were quite comfortable. Only a couple of hours on a couple of days where it got a little warm inside… ceiling fans were a blessing!We loved the Sealodge Beach, swam in the pool and used the grill for chicken and hamburgers!Love, love, love the North shore!

Loved the place and the very private beach. The walk to the beach was a little more intense than just a gentle stroll - and yet - it was so worth it to be there in such a gorgeous place! We appreciated that there were beach chairs and goggles to snorkel around. It was very convenient to restaurants and walks - we loved every minute! It did not have AC so be prepared, although even on hot days, with the fans and the breeze it wasn't really an issue.

A lovely, nicely appointed condo perfect for two. A beautiful view, ample parking, full size kitchen and a comfortable bed!! It was very quiet and peaceful. The owner was very easy to communicate with and very personable. We’d definitely be back!

Amazing property !

Excellent! So pleasant that it was hard to leave to go do our excursions. Clean, comforting, beautiful views, well stocked. The sunsets from the balcony were awesome. The trade winds felt restorative! I would definitely return to B12! Such a cozy comfortable place to stay. Leila has thought of everything to make it feel like home!

The location cannot be beat. You feel like you have your own dedicated slice of paradise for the duration of your stay. The condo is well appointed, comfortable, and those views!!! The uninterrupted morning rainbows were magical. There is absolutely no need to worry about no AC - with the ceiling fans and the ocean breeze it is always the perfect temp. Leila was a responsive host and we were very thankful for her creating this opportunity to share her space. Mahalo!

Comfortable bed, hot shower, very clean, quiet, well stocked kitchen. There is no way I could complain about this wonderful condo!

This is a nice condo complex between Hanalei and Kilauea on Kauai’s north shore. The unit is on the top floor with a lovely view of the mountains and a partial ocean view. A short walk leads you to a full ocean view which is also an amazing spot for watching both the sunrise and sunset. The condo is very comfortable and nicely decorated. Communication with the off-site owner is easy, and she is very prompt with answering questions and addressing problems. Parking is very convenient, and access is simple through use of a keypad.

A soft landing to a beautiful island! The condo is centrally located with access to a variety of activities and restaurants. Saw a rainbow almost every day from the condo. Got to explore many areas, took a couple of good hikes near by. Visited coffee plantation, pineapple plantation, Hindu temple, Poipu Beach, boat tour to Fern Grotto, enjoyed the roosters,chickens and birds eating with us at the restaurants.

Prince Kuhio Condos are a little piece of heaven! The grounds are magnificently landscaped and the pool is large and privately surrounded by lush greenery and even has a rock waterfall. Even had a great BBQ. Across the street is the Lāwai beach with great snorkelling. Our unit was absolutely lovely with a great ocean view and comfy amenities! We loved it. And will definitely recommend to family and friends. Location was quiet but super convenient to exploring the south shore!

We had a very nice stay at Sea Lodge overall it was convenient to the other beaches, close a grocery and other places. Two issues, first the beach access is pretty treacherous for elderly folks and the description of the place indicated a hot tub but it’s not there

The condo was in a beautiful and convenient location in Princeville. It had everything we needed to make our week long stay very enjoyable. The owner gave us some great recommendations for places to eat.

Beautiful condo! Absolutely spotless inside with comfortable furniture. The kitchen was well appointed - organized and clean with everything we would need for cooking at home. Balcony was private with a lovely view. Bed was super comfortable. We loved everything about this condo and would be happy to return!

We loved our stay at Leila‘s apartment. The apartment is very comfortable and clean and very well appointed. Everything‘s been thought through. Loved having the beach chairs and umbrella. The view from the lanai was lovely. Highly recommended.

We loved our quiet (minus the roosters of course - lol) stay here. The property was clean and just what we needed for a nice relaxing stay. We walked down to the beach multiple times during our stay to sit on the rocks and enjoy watching the waves roll in. It was also nice being so close to the grocery store.

My husband and I loved this apartment. It was comfortable and well appointed. We had a wonderful time in a beautiful setting and it was close to Hanalei. Highly recommend. Will definitely be back.

We so enjoyed our 4 nights in this well appointed condo with beautiful ocean and mountain views. A highlight was the private snorkeling beach just a stone’s throw from the condo with amazing fish and turtle sightings.

My boyfriend and I took a quick 5 day trip to Kauai and to say the condo was great is an understatement. It was perfect and had everything we needed to feel comfortable and was located in the most beautiful area with stunning views. It was peaceful and quiet, and Leila had all the necessity items available so we didn't have to go out of pocket with the basic items. Overall, we would definitely recommend this condo and would stay here again. Mahalo!

This condo was located very close to the ocean. You could walk across a grassy area and sit on a bench to enjoy the ocean. That same grass area was also a nice spot to watch the sunrise.The condo itself was fully equipped with everything we needed. It even had a couple of beach chairs and an umbrella. We were very comfortable!

We had a fantastic stay at Leila’s apartment in Princeville. The check-in instructions were precise, the rooms were clean and the views on Napali coast and the ocean were just amazing. Even though we had two days of rain we really enjoyed our stay.

This property was beautiful I watched the sunset from the bedroom with the huge windows. You can see the ocean but it's not close enough to see waves or anything. They should upgrade the fans in the condo so it gives better air flow. It doesn't have air condition and that was fine for us in January but I can't imagine how long it would take to cool down when it's hot out. It took us about 45 min after sunset to really get the place to cool down. We had fans going and windows open. The place is beautiful and the grounds are amazing. Would come again.

We spent three days at this delightful apartment on the bluff in Princeville. It's clearly a place fitted out with care, so it feels welcoming and comfortable. The sea air flows through and you hear the sound of the surf below at all times. It's exceptionally peaceful, tucked away from the rest of the Princeville resorts. We had everything we needed, and were grateful for the chance to be here.

My stay was good overall, but I wanted to mention a concerning issue I experienced. During my time there, I was bitten by bugs in about 15 different areas on my body. I’m unsure what type of bugs they were or why they were present, but it caused me significant discomfort. The bites were painful, and this affected my ability to fully enjoy my vacation.Additionally, it’s worth noting that the property mentions there is no A/C, so we had to keep the windows open. Even though there were screens, bugs might have come in from outside. For anyone with allergies or sensitivities, this could be a consideration, as it was an issue for me.

We stayed here for a week.Pros: great location, cute unit, small but cozy lanai (we did bird watching and stargazing), short hike to the sealodge beach (great snorkeling spot!), mountain view from the living room, etc. Cons: no AC (mostly fine but can be hot in the afternoon in sunny days), none of the kitchen knives can cut pineapple (like other vacation homes... we brought our own knife), wild chicken sound was annoying at 3am (bring your earplugs)Overall, we really enjoyed our stay so will give 10/10. Want to go back already!

Great location and nice private beach. Condo is outdated, wallpaper peeling off the wall and looks like they tried fixing it with tape. We were there in December and opened all windows and had fans on and it got warm during the day, an AC would help a lot! Bathroom is small, so if you are a bigger person it might be a tight fit. Had a question for the owner the day before we got there and she apparently is in a different time zone and got snippy with me and tried telling me i deleted emails. Still not quite sure what that was all about, but didn’t sit well with us at all. She did apologize the next day, but not professional at all.

The location is excellent for both scenery and being convenient for all the North shore has to offer. Furnishings were a bit dated, but the condo was commfortable and well stocked. The owner's communication was excellent and gave lots of helpful advice. We were out during the day and found the condo easy to cool down upon our return by open all the windows in the evening. We loved the sounds of the ocean at night. We would stay here again.

We spent two weeks in this lovely 1-bedroom condo and thoroughly enjoyed ourselves. The views from the living room and bedroom are stunning. The kitchen is well-stocked with all the kitchenware we needed, and the complex has quiet hours starting at 10:00 PM (that were observed) so we slept really well. There are wild roosters in Kauai so download a white noise app on your phone. The path to the nearby beach can be quite muddy and slippery after the occasional rainstorms so you might want to bring some trekking poles in your luggage. Leila is a very hospitable and responsive host, and we definitely hope to return in the future.

SeaLodge is in a beautiful location with great views of the ocean and the mountains. The hike to SeaLodge beach allows you to enjoy so much of what Kauai has to offer. The condo itself is well equipped with everything that you need. However, the lack of air conditioning is a big negative, especially when the weather is bad. A Kauai vacation relies heavily on outdoor activities. When we were there, it rained most of the day, every day, requiring us to spend much time in the condo. The lack of air conditioning, uncomfortable furniture, and no smart TV, made the stay uncomfortable. If you plan a stay at SeaLodge, keep this in mind.

Our stay was delightful. We enjoyed the proximity to many points on the north side of Kauai. We could see the ocean and the view of the nice homes on the mountain side as this was also scenic. The condo did not have AC and we had to get a little use to it. When we arrived at 3 pm, the temperature was quite high in the unit as we needed to open windows and activate some fans that were available to cool the unit. We found that temperatures cooled at night often with light rains and a breeze which allowed for comfortable sleeping. The bed was also comfortable. The place was very clean and decorated nicely, and there was the opportunity to relax in the living room area. Our host was very responsive and very easy to work with. If visiting the area, we would certainly be glad to stay at this condo again!

Beautiful property with beautiful beach access! With respect to the beach: Sealodge beach has great snorkling. The path is steep, so bring your walking shoes. With respect to the condo: Absolutely gorgeous! Make sure the blinds are closed during the day or you may cook to death

Our host was wonderful in helping us navigate to great restaurants and activities in the area. The view from the condo was extraordinary. We felt at home and a part of Kauai at the same time. Thank you!

We loved the location, view from the deck, hike to the private beach, and the condo was stocked with everything we needed!! Just beware the lack of a/c made afternoons uncomfortable. Mornings and evenings were fine, plenty of fans and open windows. But coming back after a day of hiking and beaching, etc, it was too hot to take showers and dress to go back out for dinner. We’d open the windows back up and sit outside until it was cool enough to go inside and take cold showers before going out. But we really did enjoy our stay!!!

Great property, Our only complaint is that there isn’t any AC. It got pretty toasty on a couple of late afternoons.

We were very pleased with our decision to stay here vs other rentals we'd found in Princeville at a similar price point, primarily due to the location with amazing views of both the sea and lush mountains. We enjoyed the short jungle trek to the hidden Sealodge beach, watching the sunrise from the property's grounds, and listening to nature around us. The condo had everything needed to make our short stay comfortable, and the pictures accurately depict the inside of the property. We also appreciated that the owner warned us when we booked that without a/c, the condo could get hot during the daytime. We were OK with this for our short stay because we were out exploring most of the day. However, we would probably not opt for an extended stay in August. This is true of many to most of rentals, but the upper floor and sun exposure, which make for fabulous views, may also contribute to the warming in the unit. In summary, we were extremely happy and would stay here again.

Everyday spent in the condo was fantastic.. we loved waking up to the sun shining on the mountains and the birds chirping in the jungle below. We'll definitely be back!!

Leila's property in Princeville is truly our happy place. We've stayed at her condo twice in the last year and fall in love with it more and more each time. The location is perfect - with views to both the mountains and ocean. Great airflow throughout the unit with windows and fans. The place is fully stocked with all the necessities including dishes, soap, laundry, cable/internet, beach chairs, coolers, beach towels, etc. Can't wait to come back again next year. Counting down the days!

We had a very enjoyable stay. Communication was excellent. We had the bad timing of some renovations but it really did not take away from our quality time. Very enjoyable and we would love to be invited back. Highly recommended

Absolutely amazing stay here in princeville! It felt like I was waking up in a jungle every morning! We enjoyed the private beach and snorkeling as well as many other wonderful places on the island! Leila was a wonderful host and I would love to come back!

Great location and stay in the Princeville area. Enjoyed the condo and the sunsets on the nearby hill in the evening. Beautiful views everywhere. Would probably book a place with AC if we returned to the area. We recommend your own snorkeling mask/mouthpiece if you want to snorkel. The ones available to use leaked with our experience. Had other great beach equipment available to use.

A cozy spot in beautiful Princeville. Close to Hanalei Beach with incredible views of the Pacific Ocean from multiple spots in the condo. The breezes and fans keep the place comfortable, so we loved having the windows open to enjoy the outside fresh air. We had some communication with the owner who was always responsive and personable. If we ever come back to Kauai we would stay here again!

We enjoyed our stay and loved being on the third floor where we had a view . The property was very clean and comfortable for two people.

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful condo! It is close to the beaches on the North Shore and even had a "secret" beach that was great for snorkeling and enjoying without the crowds. The weather was nice and not too hot so fans worked well to keep us comfortable. The condo is equipped with everything we needed and more! We would definitely stay here again!

We stayed four nights and loved it.

This property was so well appointed. We had beach chairs, snorkeling gear, an umbrella, plenty of cookware and dishes, beach towels and sunblock. Leila was very responsive, the condo was very clean and easy to find based on the owner's directions. We had a wonderful week in this lovely home.
