The sea glass cottage was an absolute dream. So welcoming and comfortable. Very clean and well stocked with everything you need. Listening to the waves on the lanai , enjoying stunning landscape. Location was a great , walking distance to so many things . We will definitely be back.

Perfectly comfortable and ideal location

This was the second time we rented this cottage. It’s a great cozy cottage about a half block from Brennecke Beach. The location is fantastic, it is very well equipped including lots of beach stuff, and the hosts are very responsive. Overall, it’s a wonderful cottage and we would rent it again!

Cottage was well stocked with everything one needed. Lovely furnishings and walking distance to Poipu beach to view lots of turtles at sunset . The AC in the bedrooms was so great as it was close to 90 with high humidity .

We had a wonderful time in this modern, clean house right by the beach. It was well-stocked and thoughtfully furnished so we could enjoy time inside and on the lanai. Having A/C units in the bedrooms was a BIG plus! The hosts were friendly and quick to respond. We would absolutely stay here again.

The rental is in a perfect location. We literally walked out the door and were at the beach in minutes. The place was very clean, well stocked and roomy. The bedrooms had AC, but the living area lacked AC and it was HOT.. however I am sure it usually is not that warm most of the time in Kauai. Loved the outdoor living space and the outdoor showers! We would rent again!

He had a fantastic time staying at his beautiful and very clean cottage, both inside and outside. The kitchen is very well stocked and had everything we needed. Truly enjoyed having the AC in the two bedrooms.We saw turtles and seals almost every day at Poipu Beach, which is about a 3-minute walk from the cottage.

Another fantastic stay in Kauai and specifically at Sea Glass Cottage! We look forward to each and every stay over the last few years as we have confidence that the home will be the reliably comfortable and convenient base for our adventures but mostly as a place to relax as a family. Still we do not take for granted the thoughtfulness of the hosts and on-island team in curating the home as well as supportive communication.

Our stay was everything we could have dreamed of and more! The whole home was stocked with all the needed amenities from kitchen appliances and tools to beach-going gear. The outdoor shower was fun perk, and the east facing lanai offered the perfect spot for relaxing in the afternoon shade. Communication was seamless throughout our stay when we had a question or received some weather-related updates. We can’t wait for another opportunity to return to this amazing home in paradise!

This place was AWESOME. Somehow it was even better than the pictures show. We opened the wall of doors every day and loved the in-door, out-door experience. Turtles on the beach at dusk, monk seal on the beach which was just a short walk away. Quiet dead-end street. Just perfect. No missing amenities. Love, love, loved it!

5 stars start to finish. Beth and Tina are wonderful hosts, and were accommodating and helpful when our plans and dates changed. The home itself is also perfect. We loved the outdoor spaces where we could relax and read for hours, enjoying the breezes. The location made it so convenient for our favorite beach, less than a 5 min walk to Brenneckes.

We loved this house! It was the perfect size for the three of us, and I loved everything about it! Hope we can come back and stay again someday!

Great home base for family and friends. We didn’t cook but the outdoor lanai was a favorite place to relax, play cards and visit about our day’s adventures.

We were very impressed by the house. Very clean, had everything we needed to be comfortable. The beds and pillows were very nice. It was hot and humid but the AC in the bedrooms helped. The kitchen was so good that it made me feel like it was my own kitchen at home. Everything worked perfectly and finally the location so close to the beach made it great !

This house was amazing. Great location, well stocked, and very clean. The house had everything we needed for the beach including beach chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, and a wagon. This was our third visit to Poipu and this was by far our favorite rental. We spent a lot of time on the beautiful lanai enjoying the sounds of the ocean. We look forward to our next stay.

This home exceeded all of our expectations! It was located in the best spot on the island, clean, and had everything we needed to enjoy our week at the beach! LOVED the outdoor shower, the covered patio, and quick access to the beach! Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

We stayed 10 nights at sea glass cottage and it only got better with each night. Terrific location. You can hear the ocean crashing in the quiet at night. The Lanai is great for meals reading and quiet contemplation. The kitchen is fully stocked with all amenities and the beach chairs umbrellas and wagon make things easy. Highly recommended for a Poipu vacation. Would stay here again when return. Thank u Tina and Beth for being great hosts!

From the second we arrived we never wanted to leave. Beth and Tina were so structured in their conversations that the entire stay from comfort, quality, expectations and suggestions were above and beyond.

Great location!

Seaglass cottage is truly a spectacular spot. Three houses from the beach park is close enough to run down for a quick dip in the ocean but far enough away to be able to ignore the traffic. The house has everything you need for cooking and enjoying the beach. The native plant landscaping, welcoming lanai, and outdoor shower ensure you feel the island ohana all day long.

Sea Glass Cottage is a beautiful home with fantastic amenities and very well maintained. Location is wonderful --so close to the beach and other South Shore attractions, but on a nice quiet street.

Perfect location, comfortable, perfect setup! We can’t say enough positive things about this adorable beach cottage! Great kitchen, and comphy patio! 2 on suite bedrooms with comfortable King beds and ample closets! Both bathrooms were perfectly setup and both had a door to the outside shower from the inside shower. Decor was perfect beachy and calming. Loved the 4 swivel loveseats in the living room. I want to live here!!!

Sea Glass Cottage exceeded our expectations! All of the other reviewers were exactly right about everything. From the beachy themed bedrooms to the great water pressure of the showers to the stocked kitchen to the comfy blue chairs (which are even better than they look in the pics) - and of course to the “wall that opens”! - it truly felt like a home away from home! We couldn’t have been happier perched at Beth and Tina’s amazing home. The street is lovely, and we felt really connected to the island community. The owners (as well as the on island point of contact) were easy to work with, and replied immediately. I’ve never enjoyed outdoor dining so much - my 2 year old and I ate breakfast on the lanai listening to the roosters and loved every second of it. It’s a short walk to a protected beach perfect for our new swimmer.

Loved our stay in this cute cottage with our adult kiddos. Kitchen was well equipped with all that we needed and loved the colorful fun Fiestaware. Beautiful lanai with cascading doors. Great location close to beach and Brennecke’s. Would definitely come back & stay here!

Absolutely perfect, location, layout patio, being able to open the whole wall

The cottage is an amazing property, perfectly located with walking access to Poipu and Bernnecke’s beaches. You can hear the waves from the lanai or even inside the cottage if you have the folding wall open between the living room and lanai. The cottage was fully stocked with all typical household items, just stop by the grocery for food items and coffee. The hosts were easy to communicate with and sent information ahead of the trip so we were fully aware of checkin details. The place was also one of the cleanest properties we’ve seen. Everything was well taken care of and in good working order, and extremely functional (what a great concept to have outdoor shower access to the inside showers). We enjoyed getting up early, opening the wall, having morning coffee on the lanai and listening to the waves (and roosters). Roosters and hens are all over the island so don’t come to Kauai if that is an issue. They become white noise in a few days anyway. Since the cottage is centrally located on the island, easy access to activities to the east and west side of the island. You must try a Puka Dog and shave ice or rent snorkel gear from the shop in Poipu. Also highly recommend a coffee crawl from the many shops and trucks within 10m drive of the cottage (our favorite was Little Fish). Overall, we really didn’t need to venture too far from the cottage outside of exploring the island. Would absolutely stay here again if ever were to come back to Kauai.

We stayed here for six nights and I read the reviews and thought it would be wonderful and yet I was still surprised by how beautiful the place is. The location is fantastic. There are plenty of places to dine out and the kitchen is well equipped to cook a gourmet meal! The house as well stocked, and I think everybody that’s read the reviews has probably bought coffee filters for this place because there are stacks of them. Often when I stay in a rental, I have to buy dish soap, trash bags, paper towels, etc. but this place was well stocked with all of this plus a lot of spices! I had to reach out to the property manager once and they responded within seconds and helped me immediately! We relaxed at the house more that we would have if we were staying in a hotel. I cannot suggest this place enough I promise you you will not be disappointed!

This is the perfect place for two couples to stay for a beach trip to Kauai. Everything about this property was fantastic. The glass wall that separates the living room and front porch opens up to make the perfect indoor/outdoor place to hangout. Everything about this place has been planned out and is perfectly setup to provide a great vacation experience. Thank you Beth and Tina for your hospitality.

The pictures of the property on VRBO don't do this property justice. As soon as we walked in, we knew this was going to exceed our expectations. VERY close to the beach. The decor was stunning, and the entire place was so clean and refreshed. The check in process was easy and clearly outlined in the instructions. There was one minor issue with the hot water system. We contacted the host and we had a response in less than 10 minutes. They helped us troubleshoot the issue and everything was back to 100% working order in a few minutes. I location was quiet (except for the roosters that freely roam the entire island...so no fault of the owners at all.) I cannot recommend this place highly enough. If ever I am back on Kaua'i, I would GLADLY stay here.

Still unpacking, but we won’t be quick to put away the wonderful memories of our trip to Kauai. The island is truly a magical place but what makes it even more special to our family is having Sea Glass Cottage as a reliably lovely home base while there. The thoughtful attention to details including quality kitchen materials and comfortable bedding all help to make sure we can relax and enjoy our time as a family. Already looking forward to our next visit!

We all loved this home, the location, and all it had to offer. Such attention to detail in the building and decor. Very much my personal style, and the kitchen made me feel right at home. Some places have very few kitchen items, This is fully stocked. The outdoor shower was a favorite. I loved front porch, specifically the rocker. We great enjoyed the yard box full of beach chairs, a cart, and a cooler in the pantry. The homeowners are fabulous. We were in touch when I noticed a landscape sprinkler issue, and they contacted me when we left items in the dryer and were kind enough to ship it to us. Thank you for everything. I highly recommend this home.

Our stay was absolutely perfect! The property is exactly as described - a quiet spot very close to Poipu beach. It was so nice to be able to stroll back from the beach when we wanted to get some shade/relief from the sun - seeing other folks heading to the parking lot toting everything for a day at the beach, knowing we were right there was perfect. The access to town, distance from the airport, etc, was just right - and being able to walk to Kalapaki Joe's was a nice break from traveling by car everywhere else on the islands. We'll be back, and until then, I'll be thinking about showering under the stars after beautiful sunsets.... sleeping peacefully in B&T's beautiful house, until those Kauai roosters wake me up to enjoy it all again.

Every inch of this house is beautiful, cozy and serene. A 2 minute walk to the beach with everything you could ever need available for your use. Highly recommend!

I can't say enough about this property. It's one of the nicest rentals we've ever had. The design and layout of the cottage is perfect for 2 couples. The exterior patio was perfect for sitting outside and catching the ocean breezes. The house was outfitted with everything we needed - kitchen was better equipped than my own! Best part of all is the location. Just a 2 min walk to two beaches and walking distance to several restaurants, plus a great home for exploring the entire island. Top notch in every way.

Love this property and PoiPu beach so much. Great area for families, not too crowded even during the peak season. The house is amazing. Three minute walk from door step to “toes in the ocean”. Couldn’t ask for a better location. The house is well stocked with anything you’ll need for your stay. We’ll come back again. Thanks for a great stay.

My wife and I, along with another couple, stayed in the cottage for 5 nights. The cottage is in a fantastic location, less than a block from Brennecke’s Beach. Very comfortable and well equipped for two couples. We especially liked the front porch. It’s open air, but covered to protect from rain. It’s a great place to hang out during breakfast or after dinner. Overall, a wonderful place to stay in an idyllic location.

Our family had a wonderful time in this beautiful cottage. We had everything we needed. Comfortable beds, pillows and nice sheets. It is very well maintained with a fully stocked kitchen. The location was so great for our family and the neighborhood was great! We would love to return.

Fantastic property including location, amenities, neighbors, birds and chickens! The bedrooms and baths were comfortable and relaxing, sleeping was wonderful. The kitchen had every tool and utensil needed for making everything including BBQing. For us, whether it rained or not, the highlight was the veranda/lanai area where we ate all our meals and read books and visited, while listening to the ocean! A truly wonderful place that we want to visit again!

I love this house! This was my second time staying at this house, and it is still my favorite place to stay in Kauai (and probably my favorite house I've ever stayed at). The two bedrooms and bathrooms are nearly identical, so it is perfect for two couples (no need to fight over the better room). We love the outdoor showers, which connect to the indoor showers (!!). During this second visit, I realized how much I love how the hardwood floors feel under my feet. The lanai is perfect for eating any meals. We love the kitchen and laundry room too. Every detail of this house is wonderful. Poipu Beach is just a block away, and the beach chairs, umbrella, and wagon at the house were great to have. We loved going for morning walks around Poipu and then heading to Little Fish to eat breakfast on the lanai before a day of activities. Also, shout out to their cleaners, because this is the cleanest place I've ever stayed in (house or hotel).

We had a wonderful, relaxing stay at Sea Glass Cottage. It had everything we needed - from a well equipped kitchen to great beach accessories. The cottage is clean, well maintained and designed, with lots of attention to detail, and is perfectly located just a block from the beach and a short walk for shave ice every evening. The lanai was a perfect place to relax at anytime during the day or evening. The outdoor showers were a great addition and perfect for a rinse after a day in the ocean. We would love to return!

This was our second trip to Kauai and the cottage was perfection. Such a beautiful home and so clean! Also, I didn’t think we would use the sliding glass doors because I am not a fan of bugs. Turns out if we were there during the day, that door was wise open and not a bug to be seen! We loved our stay. Thank you.
