It is reached by just eight steps above ground level, giving you the top-floor setting without a long climb. Air conditioning is provided in the bedrooms, and the full kitchen, comfortable living area, and washer and dryer make the in-between moments easier. The resort adds two pools, a hot tub, barbecue grills, and eight tennis courts across tropical grounds. With the beach below and Hanalei's food and shops nearby, this is a generous North Shore choice for a larger family or two couples.
The Space:
Just eight steps above ground level, this top-floor condo with loft sleeps six across two king bedrooms and two queen loft beds. Two full bathrooms, a full kitchen, washer and dryer, and a living area support a longer family stay. The bedrooms have air conditioning, while the two private lanais take in ocean, sunset, and Bali Hai views.

The Neighborhood:
Princeville offers Kauai's North Shore at its greenest, with Hanalei Bay below and mountain ridges often draped in clouds beyond it. Pick up coffee or groceries at Princeville Center, take a snorkel break at Anini Beach, then head down to Hanalei for a beach afternoon and dinner in town. The Na Pali Coast makes a memorable day out, but the view toward Bali Hai is a fine reason to stay close. This is a strong setting for families and couples who want nature to be part of every day's backdrop.
Getting Around:
A rental car is recommended for exploring Princeville, Hanalei, North Shore beaches, and trailheads at your own pace. Princeville Center offers nearby groceries and dining. Lihue Airport is about 40 minutes away by car. Paid parking is listed at Hanalei Bay Resort.
Other Things to Note:
Internet provided by Hanalei Bay Resort does not support streaming services such as Netflix or Hulu. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations. This is a privately owned unit in a resort, so hotel style daily housekeeping is not offered.

We stay in this complex every year and this was by far the cleanest unit we’ve ever stayed in. We really appreciated the brand, new kitchen and brand new appliances and how clean everything was. The views were spectacular as usual.
This was by far the best condo we have stayed in. Had all the amenities and amazing view! The condo had games, snorkel gear, boogie boards, vacuum and plenty of extra blankets and pillows. It was also extremely clean.
This is a great unit at a lovely resort. The resort is one of our favorites, nice but not too fancy, very homey, comfortable, and amazing location and views. Pool area is nice, the beach below is natural and beautiful, and overall great place to spend a week! The resort fee and parking fee are a bit expensive (in addition to the cost of the unit), but hey, it’s Kauai and Princeville, so to be expected. The unit itself is updated, clean, well-stocked, plenty of space, great balcony and views, and very comfortable; a home away from home and we loved every minute, thank you!
Hanalei Bay Resort was a perfect place to stay. The views are beautiful and the grounds are well-kept. The kids loved the pool, though the hot tub and swim-up bar are still not open after apparently several years of closure, so do not count on those being available. The on-site restaurant and bar were both surprisingly good and have beautiful views. The front desk staff is very responsive. The location is perfect (walking distance) for golf, hiking to Queen's Bath, and hopping on the shuttle for Ke'e Beach/Kalamau Trail if you're able to snag a ticket. It's also an easy drive to Hanalei Bay, which has a wonderfully shallow sandy beach, tons of activities, and very good food (including a small upscale grocery store). The unit had views as good as advertised, but the saturated colors in the photographs made it appear a little nicer and newer than it actually is, particularly the upper loft area. The second bedroom interestingly had a much nicer shower than the actual master bedroom. The unit was fine for our needs, since we have two young children and spent very little time inside the unit, but it's really the location you are paying for.
