Romantic Maui Getaway, 25' from the Ocean ~ Relax with the Sun, Wind and Waves

We absolutely loved this condo. It’s very clean, updated, very comfortable, had absolutely everything we need and more. We made meals in the condo and grilled, too. Jim provided so much information pre-trip to help us plan. Charlie, the property manager, was very responsive to our questions. The bed is very comfortable, which is important to me since I have a permanent back injury. The condo is decorated beautifully, and its location is very convenient. We watched sunsets, whales and surfers from the lanai. We would stay here again in a heart beat! Thank you, Jim!

Kitchen had a lot of the nice little extras along with being fully equipped. View is amazing and having breakfast and dinner out on the lanai was wonderful. Did see whales breaching and flying fish as a plus. Really nice beaches short drive away. Bed super comfortable. Office space for connecting laptop to large screen was great.

The beach view from the lanai was incredible, breathtaking! The host was so informative with a lengthy email providing detailed information about all of the condo amenities and local area suggestions. The condo was equipped with everything we needed, including beach chairs, umbrella, firm pillows along with soft pillow options, comfortable bed, beautiful, easy to access shower, lovely art to admire, and a telescope. We hope to be back and will definitely recommend this condo to our friends.

The view is gorgeous, the bed is cozy, all the amenities you need plus some extras. Really can't get better location for price than this! Gorgeous beaches are just a short drive away. Not overly touristy feeling or busy. Felt like home, so cozy. The art in the place is really cool to!Plus, the owner is super communicative with detailed emails with recommendations and helpful tips before your stay! The 'on-island contact' is friendly and very helpful as well! Our honeymoon stay here was everything we hoped for and more - and if we are fortunate enough to come back to Maui, this will be the place I try to book! Highly recommend.

Nice studio with amenities. Parking can be a bit tricky. You will need a rental car with this location.

I can not say enough about this property, owner and property manager. All around one of the best vacation experiences I have ever had. The property is exactly like it is described and pictured - there was plenty of space for me and my husband. The property owner Jim gave us such detailed check in info and the onsite property manager was in contact if we needed anything at any time. The place has an amazing view, is quiet, safe, great parking, perfectly located to everything (short 10min drive to Whalers Village area, easy to highways). Jim gave us such helpful hints about where to go food shopping, restaurants, beach access nearby, snorkeling advice (which we took so thank you), whale watching, literally every suggestion you could need. We took advantage of the beach chairs, umbrellas and boogie boards that were available. Every morning we had coffee on the lanai and snacks/drinks before dinner. I will miss the view!!! We took day trips to Haleakala, the road to Hana, Iao valley hikes, and snorkeling at black rock!!! Thank you for an amazing stay . I would recommend this property to everyone.

This trip, we didn’t want the hustle and bustle of a hotel or the crowd. We started and ended every day on the lanai. Every day we spotted sea turtles and dolphins. It was a calm, quiet spot that was still close to anything we could need.

This is an affordable condo, so I wasn't sure what to expect. While not fancy, it has everything you need to have an amazing time. You can watch turtles from the lanai, catch sunsets, and watch rainbows. Want to have a beach day- use the beach towels, chairs, umbrella, and cold bags that are provided. No detail was missed, including one of the most comfortable beds I've ever slept on. You can tell a lot of love was put into this place and I would happily stay here again. Mahalo!

Great view from the room, neighbors were friendly. I was invited to the 6:30 sunset watch.

Perfect location next to famous beaches and resorts, yet calm and quiet. Well stocked. Did not need AC, cool winds and whale watching right from the balcony. Will go back! Excellent communication.

Pictures and descriptions of this place are spot on. Older unit but has some nice upgrades including nice bed, kitchen and shower. Loved mornings and sunsets on the lanai including seeing whales. Sure, it’s not a resort, but wife enjoyed the pool and we got a million dollar view for a week at about what you’ll pay for a night or 2 at the Ritz just up the road! (And we were closer to the water.) On the last night we were discussing how quickly we could get back :-)

The lanai was close to the water exactly like we wanted. The unit was close to our favorite beach as well. The unit while not fancy was comfortable and reasonably well maintained. We would stay here again.

The place was nice but unfortunately with all of the construction on the property it was covered in saw dust which made our stay quite uncomfortable. It was everywhere everyday. If I had known that was happening I would have stayed somewhere else.

This was a perfect spot for my husband and I to stay! The VRBO was beautiful, clean, nicely decorated, and the kitchen was stocked with several appliances.We LOVED the fact that it was so close to the ocean. We got to see several sea turtles and whales out in front of the property every day we were there. There were also a couple of beaches near by that we didn't make it to, but they looked gorgeous! I would absolutely stay here again! Perfect location.Both the owner and the property manager were very communicative, and I felt like if I needed anything it would have been very easy to reach them.

I had a fantastic stay at the Condo. I volunteered for the PGA Sentry tournament and needed a place close to Kapula. The Condo had everything you needed and more. You are literally 25 ft from the shore line and you have wonderful views of the surrounding islands . The King size bed was the most comfortable place I have ever slept. The owner was very timely in communicating with me. The shower was a unique touch, as well as the overall decorations/art. I highly recommend it for a single or couple to enjoy a relaxing stay on Maui.

We really enjoyed our stay!! The sunsets viewed from the lanai were awesome! The bed was very comfortable, nice towels and fully equipped kitchen. We really appreciated being able to use the beach chairs and umbrella. This place was perfect for our needs.

My second trip and husband’s first trip to Maui. Came to celebrate our anniversary. This property was amazing! Everything was just as described and better. Honestly, the description and pictures don’t do it justice. We had an amazing time and are already planning our next trip!

This ocean view property was amazing. We saw sea turtles swimming from our balcony and a beautiful rainbow over Molokai. The location was perfect for a short 5 min drive to amazing snorkeling at Nāpili Bay and Kapalua Bay. The condo was stocked with everything we needed, beach chairs and umbrella, boogie boards and towels. I highly recommend this property!

We left after staying only 2 of our 7 paid days. The unit was dark, veranda was almost unusable given how much heat the window style air conditioning unit pumped out into the space. No seating area inside for dinning option. Bath was remodeled but the heated mirror made the room to hot. To much 'clutter' around in an effort to make the unit user friendly. The listing advised that the unit was in a residential complex, and that there was no service or attendant at the pool. Ok, that's fine. What the listing did NOT state was that the pool was on the other side of the road, a bit of a hike from this ocean front unit, and that there was limited, if any, parking available near the pool.

Great place to relax and enjoy the spectacular sunset views every evening from the patio. Great location and amenities.

We rented a week for our 35th anniversary… and had a wonderful week. The beach areas are eroded away - so we drove to other beaches to snorkel. (Hint - go to the Sheraton in Valley your car… Take your stuff and go snorkeling at Black rock right there on the beach… Then when you’re done eat at the cliff diver bar… Get your ticket validated and your valet was free. If you don’t get it validated… It’s 50 bucks. Lunch ran us about 70 each time we did it… We thought that was a fair trade.). Parking was a little quirky… On some days someone would be parked there… Two hours later they’d be gone. We just parked in the guest spot and had our same parking pass. Overall… Very romantic. We really enjoyed the stay… The place is super clean and stocked full of Items… We kept even discovering things in. The mattress and the bed is very comfortable. Small but great little place for a couple in love.

We had great time

This was our first time in Maui and it was excellent. The location is great. Walking distance to a few beach access areas and some restaurants (I am still thinking about the fresh caught sashimi we had from Miso Phat). The unit has air conditioning, but we only turned it on once. It was not very hot during our stay so we opted to open some windows instead to create a cross breeze while we let the ocean waves lull us to sleep. Speaking of sleep, one of the reasons I chose this rental was because of Jim’s description of the mattress. I’ve stayed in enough vacation rentals with terrible mattresses to know how important a good mattress is for me and my husband’s middle aged bodies. We were not disappointed! It was a great mattress. The kitchen is well equipped, as is the rest of the unit. The condo also has some beach equipment you can use. The folding chairs were great, and we brought them to all of the beaches we visited. The view is the star of the show. We had some great sunrises and sunsets and we had a great view of Molokai and Lanai from the lanai. Yes, you’re really that close to the ocean! For anyone wondering about driving to other area from Kahana, it took us about 40 minutes to get to Kihei and about an hour to get to Paia. For anyone considering the Road to Hana, we did a 10-12:30 reservation at Waiʻānapana State Park, left by 7am with only a few very quick stops along the way and made it there by 10:15. (So worth it). We hope to be back!

The location & property was perfect for us! We love to adventure so we didn't need a huge fancy place; it was clean, with enough space for us two AND a comfortable bed! We jogged to badass coffee most mornings to drink coffee on the beach. We frequented Miso sushi, the farmers market and Maui brewing which were walking distance. Could not be more pleased with the condo and location; it's close to everything. Sitting on the balcony in the morning and watching the sunset and rainbows in the evening was just what we hoped for. We'll be back!

What an amazing spot to be able to be. Beautifully and tastefully and thoughtfully adorned and provisioned, no better location might there be, with a personal touch of connection and outreach from the owner and property manager. How soon until we are able to come back, we wonder?

Amazing view and well appointed condo with everything you need, including a guitar! But mostly enjoyed watching sunset and going to sleep with the sound of the waves. Great place. Recommended.

My wife and I enjoyed our stay at this condo as part of our Maui vacation. The location and environment is excellent. The condo was very nice, exactly as advertised, with beautiful ocean views and comfortably furnished. I would recommend this property as a great place for couples.

Great place, literally right on the ocean. The view is amazing and mostly all you hear is just the sounds of the wind and the waves. Very relaxing and the condo itself is very well equipped. We'll be back!

Great spot! Very quiet, clean and comfortable. Everything was within easy walking distance, beach, restaurants and stores. And the view from the lanai of Molokai and Lanai was outstanding. Definitely looking forward to returning

We loved the balcony and sound of the ocean. Amazing view! Very private. We loved having the AC, fan, and the bed was super comfortable. We enjoyed having the option of coolers, simple spices, beach chairs, and coffee filters available. We could tell the owner put a lot of care and love into this property. Good selection of DVDs and the contact was very responsive if we had any questions. Convenient location close to gas station, food places and amazing beaches. Great find, thank you!

Very nice and quiet area, beautiful apartment with stunning view, walking distance to small beautiful beaches and restaurants. Everything was just perfect!
