Waikoloa Beach Golf Courses, Kings' Shops, Petroglyph Park, and A-Bay are all within walking distance. This is a relaxed fit for a family or friends who want to spend less time loading the car and more time outside.
The Space:
The ground-floor layout opens to large lanais, where sliding doors can be opened wide for trade winds and a partial ocean view. A remodeled kitchen and refreshed primary en suite bring a clean, easy feel inside. With air conditioning, a comfortable living area, two bedrooms, and four beds for up to six guests, the condo is well set up for both early beach starts and quiet nights in.
Guest Access:
Guests at Vista Waikoloa enjoy access to the resort's shared pool, hot tub, and fitness gym, plus elevator access to upper floors. On site parking, a private entrance, and a lit path to the door round out this Near Ocean resort setting. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.
The Neighborhood:
Waikoloa Beach Resort runs along the sunny Kohala Coast, where black lava fields meet manicured paths, ancient fishponds, and a sandy stretch at Anaeho'omalu Bay. A-Bay is a good place for a beach afternoon, a sunset walk, or a snorkel when conditions cooperate. Kings' Shops and Queens' Marketplace bring restaurants, groceries, coffee, and boutiques within the resort area, while Petroglyph Park adds a quick dose of Hawai'i Island history. It is an especially easy base for families who want warm weather, beach time, and dinner close by.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive. Parking is generally available in resort lots or on site at most properties.
Other Things to Note:
The twin beds can be converted to a king bed upon request, seven days before arrival. This property is managed by Heavenly Vacations.

Great condo
Place is in poor shape, appliances work barely, shower head is just a pipe with a head on it (works and water is hot), toilets don't flush well...
Perfect spot
I took my family with kids (9, 5, and 1). We had a wonderful stay and enjoyed the fresh feel of the space. The closeness to the beaches was wonderful as well as the quick walk to the Waikaloa to see the dolphins!At the end, we were rushed to pack and ended up accidentally leaving some things. The cleaners were fabulous in gathering and shipping those items to us.
We had a broken toilet and screen doors. They fixed the toilet after two tries and a phone call to the handyman myself. The screen door never did get fixed. They fixed a sliding door that was working fine and said that was what I had requested even though I sent pictures of the broken screen door. There was also a mouse in our unit which we reported immediately. No action from the mgmt company. We left a day early because of it. The twin beds were not converted to a king. I had confirmed this twice with the mgmt company and we ended up doing it ourselves. There was a 2” height differential when the beds were put together so not really convertible to a king. The place really could use some TLC, it is tired looking.
House and property were well taken care of. The location was awesome, walking distance to resort, shops & beach.
Everything was great and the place was very clean. Had some issues with the washer and dryer.
NEVER AGAIN FROM THIS PROPERTY MANAGEMENT CO. Overall, the physical aspects of this home are pretty good. However, the property management is not so nice. They sent me an email saying I can extend my check out from 10AM to 2PM. A day later, I asked for this option, they told me they cannot grant it because I was 2.5 hours beyond the optional cut off time. Apparently I had until 4PM to take up their optional extended check-out. I contacted them at about 6:40PM. This cut off time was not stated anywhere within the email they sent me. I had 3 children with me and it was difficult for me to get them out sooner. I nearly begged them to help out and honor the option that they sent me. They declined me multiple times. Luckily there was a heartfelt, lovely neighbor that I met and he welcomed us in his home to hang out for a few hours. The worst part about this is that we left the neighbors house around 1PM and noticed that the cleaning crew for our rental was still not there. They could have been human and kind to honor their optional extended check-out but instead they were rude about this. Now I know why this listing is not a Super Host. You should rent directly from the owners or a property management company that has compassion for humans and does not put their business operations above simple requests that THEY offer.
The location is perfect, walking distance to the beach and many cute shops and restaurants. The condo is beautifully appointed and has everything you need. The beach chairs, boogie boards, umbrellas, sand toys, life jackets and pool noodles were an added plus!
Family loved spacious clean condo. Was home on the many road trips, beach walks, etc highly recommend this spot.
