Welcome to the Puna forest! Cute and cozy, the Canopy Studio is the perfect place to relax and let go. Located on a quiet dead end street. One mile to Kehena Beach, six miles to the new Po'hoiki Black Sand Beach, and near to many tide pools along the red road. Enjoy the exquisite hardwood kitchen and matching furniture made from the Monkey Pod tree. It is a great place to decompress. Delve into the depths of the Puna rain forest where a trickling garden lulls you into relaxation. Five minutes to Kehena beach and twenty minutes to the Kalapana lava flow. Drive the scenic Red Road to nearby tide pools for snorkeling. The Farm Loft features a handmade hardwood kitchen and matching furniture made from Monkey Pod or rain tree. Coqui frogs sing you to sleep on the queen sized futon. Open and airy, yet cozy and safe, the loft is perched two stories up. Adjacent, yet very private.

The place has a nice vibe and has a convenient little kitchen. I wouldn't go back though unless the mattress was replaced and the hot water fixed.
Wonderful lush jungly property about a 20 minute walk from the blacksand beach. Full kitchen that is a pleasure to cook in (especially when raining). Great furniture and accents, spacious, and breezy, and I loved hearing the rainfall and seeing the clouds break. The only complaint is the outdoor bathroom. I think it needs a new shower curtain and bath mats. I was afraid the water was dripping down where it wasn't supposed to because the shower curtain was not effective.
Beautiful, quiet location, large space. Very nice host. Did not always communicate the best but may have been partially my fault (was ill).
Joe was attentive and available whenever we needed anything. Property was beautiful as was the accommodation.
