Located on the south side of Puamana—untouched by the Lahaina fire—this tranquil area remains the same lush, tropical oasis guests have always loved. While the Historic Clubhouse and several buildings on the north side continue their restoration, the vibrant beauty of Puamana is fully yours to enjoy.
Inside, warm cherry wood cabinetry, granite countertops, and travertine flooring complement an open-concept living, dining, and kitchen area designed to highlight the oceanfront setting. A large 28-foot lanai provides the perfect place to relax, watch surfers glide across the waves, observe turtles, or take in unforgettable Maui sunsets.
The well-equipped kitchen offers everything you need for easy meal preparation, while both bathrooms have been tastefully upgraded for a comfortable stay. Practical amenities include air conditioning, ceiling fans, high-speed Wi-Fi, two flat-screen TVs, and an in-home washer/dryer.
With its serene atmosphere and two guest limit, 43-1 is ideal for a relaxing couple’s escape or a quiet solo retreat.
Guests can enjoy Puamana’s two pools, tennis, pickleball, three surf breaks, and a seasonal golden-sand beach. World-class beaches, golf, and adventures in Kaanapali and Kapalua are also close by.

Parking / Registration: $10/day + tax (16-day maximum). The second car is $10/day + tax.

Rating Details: The property manager was more than helpful. The vacation rental was spotless. I was very happy with the location. I was very satisfied with the condition of the vacation rental. Overall, I recommend this vacation rental. Reviewer Comments: This was our fourth stay at Puamana. We would give this unit our highest rating by far. It's a beautiful property looking out on a beautiful view. Everything was clean and there were no maintenance issues. Our only concern was the confusing information regarding the checkout time. Our initial contract indicated an 11am checkout, around which we planned our final day. That time was confirmed in writing when we made our final payment. But apparently the fine print of the contract had changed to a 10am checkout without that change being highlighted. The day before we left we were informed that we needed to leave the unit an hour earlier than planned. Our request for an 11am checkout was rejected and this left us with a bad feeling at the end of a perfect stay.

The property we stayed at is right on the ocean with tremendous views of the ocean. It is quiet, well maintained with spacious and beautiful accommodations. We have been here several times before and can't wait to come back again!
We loved the location at Puamana and the amenities. Watched beautiful sunsets and surfers from our lanai. Used the beach chairs and beach towels provided when we went to the beach. Great restaurants and shopping close by in Lahaina. Kitchen well equipped for cooking our own meals, too. Perfect for the two of us celebrating the beginning of our retirement!

Opening the lanai glass doors each morning and sitting outside having coffee, all the while listening to the waves crash was something you just don’t tire of. The breathtaking beauty of having the ocean in the backyard made our trip, especially since COVID restrictions made it difficult to do many things.
It was everything we had hoped for! Close access to a private beach, comfortable living space, short distance to Lahaina and felt like Home away from home. We love sitting out on the lanai every morning and evening watching the surfers and taking in the ocean air. We will definitely be back!

I'm almost afraid to leave a glowing review with the fear that it will never be available for me to book! You can't beat the location, right on the water. The view for sunsets is just incredible. The house is stocked with everything you need from kitchen gadgets and wine glasses to beach towels and chairs. Incredible property. I can't wait to return.
