Host was very welcoming and happy to help. Very pleasant experience!
Everything was fine just as described. Photos were accurate. It was a great location for walking and close to market and restaurants.
Conveniently located. The community pool was nice . Host was accommodating .
Easy parking, in and out! Great stay! Would stay again!
The room is in a great location for North Shore adventures. Room is good sized. Having a fridge was helpful. Pool was nice. Hot tub was great after a long hike.
Space was as described and had everything that we needed
Everything we needed.
It was lovely
It was clean. Had nice beach supplies.
Pool was great and the hot tub an extra bonus
Very clean and had great air conditioning which made our stay very enjoyable. Had some issues with checking in, but our host was quick to remedy that.
Clean room. Easy parking! Lots of beach items to choose from...
Room was as advertised. Came with coolers, chairs and snorkel equipment. Only thing we didn’t care for was there was a joining door to the place next ours and the front door only had a single lock on it. Communication was excellent! Area was great. And had an air conditioning that would keep you good and cold after getting that vacation sun. Will definitely try to stay here again next time
Clean, comfortable, good location. Affordable.
Almost everything was great and as described except that the place was a little dirty - nothing we couldn’t deal with - plates weren’t fully cleaned & beach towels had some old stains that hadn’t come out in the wash. I also have very sensitive allergies & the place was quite dusty. Again nothing unmanageable by any means, just to be aware of. Thanks for a generally lovely stay!
Jack had great communication and the location of the place was exactly what we wanted - central Princeville. There were a few annoying items, such as no soap/shampoo (we left ours for the next guest), a request to take out the trash every day but no extra trash bags in the place, the AC is a huge inside unit that is both loud and makes weird noises that wakes you up at night, the parking lot window is right outside the bedroom window with no blackout curtains, and the coffee maker didn’t work. Overall, it a was a good stay and the price was reasonable, but those various little / petty / annoying things are why I’m leaving an average review.
Easy check-in / out. Spotlessly clean. Thoughtful touches like keurig WITH pods and coolers, AC and fan, beach chairs and boards and sunscreen. The area is beautiful and designated parking is a treat. Easy access to Hanalei, Kilauea Point / Lighthouse … about an hour from the airport. Mahalo!
Close to Hanalei, surfboard to borrow, chairs and a cooler. Hot shower and TV, spacious enough for 2 persons. Nice area and pool. What we didn’t like is the unkind neighbours , people that used the parkingspot and the dirt in the room. The room was so dirty that I cleaned a lot of stuff myself. Only 2 towels for 2 persons, 7 days.
Excellent room for the price. This rental has everything: two complete sets of snorkel/mask/fins; one large and one small portable cooler, beach chairs & towels, boogie boards and full size surf boards, after sun lotion under the sink, coffee, kitchen gear, fast WIFI, etc. The management is very responsive. I WOULD DEFINITELY STAY HERE AGAIN!
This place worked perfectly well for me and my partner. Very comfortable king bed, lots of space, great little patio. All in all, would book again for sure.
Loved our stay here.
My husband and I came to Kauai for a little get away after our wedding and this place was perfect! Super close to everywhere we wanted to be, super clean, and very comfortable for the two of us! Came with a parking spot which is so convenient, highly recommend!
Perfect place to stay. Bed is very comfortable and plenty of beach gear and ice chest to use! Loved the lanai and view of the mountains out of front window.AC is a plus!! Would stay here again.
Private with adequate parking (when people didnt take our spot). Outdoor seating was nice!
Property was beautiful and easy to find. Loved or exploration of the North shore. Grocery store proximity was a major plus. The room was comfortable and the walk in shower was very spacious. Would definitely stay again.
Sandpiper's village location is great if you love the amazing north shore's scenic views and surroundings and are looking for quietness. Supermarket (Foodland) and fuel station (Aloha) are conveniently near. We didn't use the pool and jacuzzi so we cannot rate those. The owner was very responsive and the self check-in and check-out is very convient. The same applies to the private parking lot. Beach towels, snorkeling and surf gear available, as well as other amenities for the beach. WiFi worked properly. The kitchen is just a microwave (coffee machine) but we were aware of that and it was fine for us. Loved all the greenery around.
Comfortable, clean, and quiet. Glad there was beach towels. Convenient parking. Great air conditioning. 10/10 would stay again.
This place is exactly as described and how it looks in the photos. Real flexible and easy communication!Wish we could stay longer…have to get back to the mainland :( Mahalo
Jack allowed us to check in early which was veery convenient since we were already staying at a different bnb in Princeville. Would stay again
Great stay!
Place was comfortable and fit our needs My wife would of liked to have a creamer option for the coffee offered in the unit
Jack was very easy to communicate and place was good and clean
Great location, and so many amenities. We loved our stay. Clean and we had a great night sleep each night!
The property does not allow fireworks and they enforce quiet hours. The property owner, Jack was very helpful with recommendations! 214B was an awesome home base with Foodland close by.
I loved staying in this condo. I stayed for three weeks and I want to stay here when I come back to Kauai. No complaints whatsoever! Thank you!
Lovely place to stay, it had everything that we needed. Everywhere we went was fairly easy to drive to. We very much enjoyed our stay.
Our stay at Jack’s was great. Great location to explore the north side of Kauai.. super close to Hanalei and the Na Pali coast. Reccomended
Host was very responsive & helpful. Property has coolers / body boards / surfboard etc. & has a great pool & hot tub ! We cooked on the grills almost every night. Would stay again
Conveniently located. Grocery right down the street and walk/run trails right outside the door.
Cute little place to lay your head at night. Thanks!
If you want to be kept awake all night with a streetlight shining in your window along with noise from neighbors due to the paper thin walls then this is the spot. Definitely a low budget choice for the desperate vacationer.
Nice place to stay. Close to shopping. Close to the golf coures. You can view the sun rise and the sun set with a couple shirt walks from here. Queens bath is walk from here and so is Sealodge beach.
Lovely place to stay with a comfy bed, everything you need for small bites like a microwave, fridge, and plates/utensils, and awesome collection of beach supplies to borrow! Love the boogie boards, beach chairs, and umbrella! Those things in itself make this place 5 stars.
It's basically a hotel room with a big balcony. Comes with beach chairs, umbrella, body board, cooler ect. Only downside is that you can hear the adjoining condo pretty well. For the price and location it's good.
Cute small place good for short trips! Loved the space!!
At Kauai's north shore, we found a modern condo, very well equipped and perfectly maintained, part of a quiet and prestigious condominium village, nicely located in Princeville, not far from Hanalei town with good bars and restaurants as well as Kalalau trail head (now permit needed to enter Ha'ena State Park, which didn't exist 28 years ago when I was here the first time; makes sense now to protect the environment). We enjoyed staying there, the condo was very comfortably and newly refurbished.
Awesome!
Wonderful, lowkey place to stay on Kauai’s north shore. The host was very communicative and helpful. The previous concerns about mold were not an issue and the host has replaced the shower curtain. The hot tub, pool, and designed parking were a big plus. Would definitely stay here again in the future given the convenient location, proximity to beaches and retail, etc!
Perfect place to stay for a couple. The kitchen area came in handy every morning before starting our day. Definitely will stay here again!
We like staying in Princeville, then going west around Hanalei and east around Kilauea for dinner, beaches and such. The unit is a nice size, great king bed w good linens, and stocked w basics for 'kitchenette', including a nice size fridge. Nice lanai and nice tiled bathroom. Drawbacks were moldy shower curtain and somewhat older carpet. Air-conditioner works well.
We ended up moving out and staying somewhere else as the mold was terrible there. We kept getting headaches every time we came back after the day trips. There was mold on the shower curtains, in the carpet around fridge, etc. The carpet was old and filthy. The freezer had almost two inches of ice buildup and was dirty. There isn’t a kitchen at the place unlike when it was marked under amenities. No kitchen sink or dining table. It was not possible to prepare food before using the grill. On the lanai there’s like 20 surf boards which was tacky. So bummed that this caused us to pack up and find a different place. This place should be reported to the health department!
Lack of communication with the host Things could be cleaner (curtains, shower, carpet) The AC had some issues and was very loud
They had a nice variety of beach equipment. Chairs, umbrella, coolers, boogie boards, surfboards
Convenient, clean and comfortable. Great if you just need place to sleep on the north shore. Pool. Hot tub and grill are nice amenities.
