We had a great stay. The condo complex is in a great spot with easy walks to several beaches. The furniture was great and is as pictured. The condo had so many things for beach time-chairs, wagon, snorkeling gear, umbrella, sand toys etc. The kitchen was well stocked with dishes, pot and pans. A few things to note-the table only seats 4, making it hard for our group of 5 to eat together. This unit faces a busy street and a busy intersection. The assigned parking spot is very small, leaving just inches between our car and the ones next to it on either side. We could hear the condo above us when they walked around, moved chairs and things like that. Not a big deal but something to be aware of. Overall we really enjoyed our stay here and would come again!
This condo was put to together so well. The key hooks by door, the heavy black out curtains in case you want to sleep in, the heavy sliders to keep the noise out from traffic or?, the ceiling fans were great, Furniture was comfortable, air mattress was in closet for my toddler grandson with tons of pillows-blankets-towels, was so blessed to see the storage on patio (3patios btw) off the master with all beach supplies from umbrellas -chairs -snorkel gear- toys - blow up floaties noodles and Wagon! The bathrooms were great with the jacuzzi tub and walk in shower. Everything was so well stocked and labeled loved it. We were grateful to be on the ground floor with the grandkids the upper unit can be very loud with walking and furniture moving sounds. But didn’t bother us too much. There was even an outside spigot to wash off sand. It was a bit further from beach then we are used to just have to find the path and enjoy the walk. Our family of six lived this unit.
Our family of 4 greatly appreciated this fully furnished condo. Easy walking to two superior beaches. We would return to this rental!
Clean apartment with good AC, perfect location, short walk to the beach.
We love staying in Poipu Kai - the area is great. This condo was comfortable and had easy access to both Poipu Beach and Shipwreck Beach. FYI, there is a ton of beach equipment in the closet; chairs, a wagon, two umbrellas, a cooler, sand toys and snorkel gear. Only a couple of disappointments - the front sliding door did not lock. We contacted guest services immediately and they said they’d would send someone out but never did. Felt a bit insecure even though the area is very safe. Also, the condo has a strong mildew smell that was hard to get used to. We understand the island is humid and things stay damp but this smell was just lingering always. Be aware that the parking spaces are very narrow - anything bigger than a small SUV makes for a very tight squeeze. Besides these three things, the place was enjoyable and comfortable - great location!

Great location with the ability to walk to beaches, shops and restaurants. Beach chairs (4) and beach towels were provided. Beds were comfortable. The main outdoor patio was noisy as it faced a busy road. There was no parking pass in the unit upon our arrival which resulted in a parking warning. It was a bit of a process (a handwritten pass to place in the rental vehicle, a few phone calls and texts) that took around 30 hours to resolve. There were no additional kitchen garbage bags in the unit. I requested more but they were never delivered. Vacasa manages the unit and I didn't feel they were efficient in answering our two needs. Overall, the unit was great and worked out well for us.
The apartment itself is spacious and well appointed. There was a strong mildew smell, especially in cupboards and closets. The unit's location within the complex is immediately adjacent to a busy road/intersection. The living room lanai faces the intersection with road noise made leaving the door open or using the space unpleasant. The lanai's off the bedrooms are smaller, but much more usable, as they face an interior greenspace.
