Perfect family home with A/C! Amazing location, a short walk to Poipu beaches!

We try together as a family every summer on a beach somewhere. Everyone agreed that this was by far the best home ever. Never mind it was in Kauai. Minutes walk from a beautiful beach. Minutes walk to anywhere you’d want to go for food or adult time. Five minute drive to old town. The home itself was child friendly and also very very comfortable. Perfect for gathering as a group. Outside of the gated yard is a wonderful walkway and grassy area to play frisbee or tag or anything else. The kids wanted to do the walkway itself takes you to beach where you can see the turtles come up in the evening or in the morning, my daughter said she saw at least 50. The owners responded quickly to any questions we had ahead of time. Thank you so much for sharing your wonderful home with us.

A wonderful house in a fantastic location!

Hosts were very helpful and super responsive to my annoying questions. House was as advertised and our family had a great time and would have given 11 out of 10 if that was an option.

Our family of 4 stayed here and had a FANTASTIC stay! The home was clean, spacious, and located in a great location. Laurie was super responsive to my questions and the recommendations they provided of beaches, activities, and restaurants were spot on!! I would highly recommend staying here. Our family stayed here for seven days and thoroughly enjoyed our visit. Scott and Laurie had all of the essentials covered. They responded promptly to all of our questions. It was a short walk in either direction to Shipwreck beach or Poipu / Brennecke's beach. The home was clean and the beds were very comfortable. Also, having AC in all of the bedrooms was a big plus. We would definitely stay here again.

This is a fantastic family home in a perfect location. We traveled with my in-laws and kids 5 &7. You can easily walk to Poipu beach and see the sea turtles or go on a breathtakingly beautiful hike that starts from the property. The home itself is well stocked with beach items and kitchen necessities. Would love to return!

We loved our stay in this home. It was very clean, super location for both Shipwreck Beach and Poipu Beach..that where the turtles are! Our daughter and her family joined us...easy walking to Grand Hyatt for coffee and lovely views. They even bought a daily ticket to use Grand Hyatt resort facillities. We love Poipu and our time in this house.

Beautiful place with all the essentials and more. Great location to two beaches. Jumping off Shipwreck is super fun. Location is great if you have conferences at the Grand Hyatt. They provided umbrellas, boogie boards, coolers, chairs, books, games, comfortable beds and a beautiful patio with grill

This home is wonderful. The unit is roomy, lovely vaulted ceiling, well furnished, generously stocked, excellent location with close walks to see sunrises and sunsets. Our family of five adults loved this rental and hope to revisit it. Laurie and Scott reflect the best in VRBO hosts! Staying on Kauai is always a delight, but this unit made it exquisite!

The cleanliness, the layout of the home, the gardens around the home and in the neighborhood, the proximity to several gorgeous beaches: it was well beyond what we could have hoped for! We’ll be back!

The home was beautiful. Windows or sliding doors on almost all walls. Close walk to beaches and a perfect sunrise spot. The hosts provide a pamphlet of local recommendations which were very useful. Lots of household items that were helpful. Everything was great.

We had a fantastic stay here. The location couldn't be better within walking distance to several beaches and the Grand Hyatt and the house is beautiful and has everything you could ever want. We cooked in some nights - kitchen has every item you would need and a extra frig in the garage for drinks. The bedrooms were perfect for our group. My husband and I took the Master and my brother and his wife and their 3 and 5 yo kids took the other 2 rooms. Very comfortable and the backyard and open space beyond the gate was a lifesaver for the kids to run and play. The garage is stocked with every beach chair, toy, item you can think of and there's a ton of privacy. We flew from Colorado (over 7 hours) and only had 4 full days on the island so it was way too quick but so worth it. Walk to Kalapaki Joe's for happy hour, shipwreck beach for sunrise and Poipu Beach for sunset and turtles. The owner is VERY responsive as well. They were even out of the country and responded so quickly to my questions. I can't wait to go back some day and spend a full week here!

This is the second time we have stayed at this property. Works great for a family of 6. Quick walk to the beaches and to the Grand Hyatt and a couple restaurants. Owner has all the beach things for your use which was a huge convenience. House is spacious with lovely outdoor area. Some things need updating but the kitchen is well stocked for cooking. And the beds are comfy.

My family and I stayed here for 10 days and I couldn’t have asked for a better place. The house is tucked away in a nice neighborhood. There were several restaurants, shops, beaches within walking distance. Owners had beach accessories to use which was great. A/C in the house was a huge plus after the hot days. Owners were very responsive when I had questions and communication was excellent. Would love to stay here again in the future and would highly recommend if you’re looking for a place in Kauai.

This home was beautiful, comfortable and in a great location to make for a perfect home base while on vacation. There were 7 of us so everyone had a comfortable bed. We really enjoyed morning and evening walks to Shipwreck and Poipu beaches. It was also really nice to be able to walk home from our luau.

We stayed here for four weeks (July into August) and found it to be everything you would want in a family vacation home. All the most important details are covered - A/C is great, privacy is lovely, and the location is exceptional. We have little kids and found the access to safe outdoor spaces to be really great, and the layout of the home to be conducive to great nights of sleep. It would almost be impossible to express how much we enjoyed the place and the clear communication from the owners. We are excited to try to come back again next summer!

We loved our time here. The location was perfect walking distance to several beaches, trails, and places to eat. Also a great starting point for adventures to the west, north, and east. The recommendations in the binder were very helpful as we followed many of them and not a one disappointed. Plenty of room and amenities for a family beach vacation!

We loved the location of this property. The house was very comfortable for our group of 7. We loved being able to have access to all of the beach gear and really appreciated the A/C. Excellent, well-maintained property. The air conditioners were super quiet, easy to use, and covered the whole house. The furniture was very comfortable -- particularly the beds. The kitchen was not only fully stocked for any need, but clearly labeled as well. Same for the light switches. Those little touches just made everything user-friendly. WiFi was reliable and good enough for streaming. Location was excellent - as advertised. The guide book they prepared was thorough and showed a deep knowledge of the area. We used it as a reference every day. We feel like our next VRBO rental can only disappoint by comparison.

Great location, beautiful quiet neighborhood. Beautiful, spacious house, well equipped. Lovely backyard, from which an easy walk to the beaches and restaurants. Great to have access to the resort pool. Communications with owners very pleasant and prompt. A dream vacation!

Beautiful house in a stellar location. We absolutely loved the greenway path directly behind the house for sunrise walks every morning. The house had so much space for our family to spread out and the kitchen was well stocked for cooking meals at home. A huge bonus was having the grill outside, and all of the beach gear! The cart and chairs/ umbrellas made our beach days so amazing. Laurie and Scott were very responsive hosts, as was the local property manager when we ran into an issue. We would absolutely stay here again!

We loved every minute of our vacation! This house was phenomenal. Excellent location, clean, kitchen was stocked with everything you need to cook a meal. Make sure you get directions using address. I used the directions link on VRBO and it took us to the neighbors house :)

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at Scott and Laurie’s place. The house was very clean and spacious for our group of 5. We especially enjoyed the back patio surrounded by tropical plants and birds as we enjoyed our morning coffee. We also loved the nice walks from the house to the area’s beaches, walking/hiking trails, and restaurants. We will be back!

We couldn’t have been more happy with the house and property, they kindly stocked the garage with all needed beach day fun! The house is gorgeous, spacious, clean and was perfect for our trip!

We were blessed to spend a week in Scott & Laurie's beautiful home. The indoor space was wonderfully functional & fantastic, only matched by the beauty of the outdoor areas and ability to walk to several local beaches. This was a wonderful vacation rental and a perfect spot as our families home base on Kauai.

I had an amazing time with my family and my husband at this property. The kitchen was well stocked with everything we needed and we loved that there was a place to eat outside in addition to the indoor dining room. Having both Poipu Beach and the Grand Hyatt with Shipwreck Beach in easy walking distance was fantastic. More than once we would go watch the sunrise in the morning. I also loved the bath in the master bathroom - super spacious and the design was really unique. We also loved having the boogie boards and chairs in the garage that we could carry easily to Poipu Beach or put in the car and take wherever. I hadn't ridden a boogie board in a while and had so much fun.

Beautiful roomy home. The beds are comfortable. Amenities are plentiful. Just a short walk to the beaches and the pool. It has an oversized washer and dryer. My family would come again to this home.

This is the perfect place to stay in Poipu with young children. There was everything we needed, from crib and high chair to beach toys, and we used the provided wagon daily to go to and from the beach. The location on the greenway was ideal, and having all the rooms on the same level eliminated fear of stair accidents by our newly walking 1 year old. Fenced in yard also a plus for similar reasons. We loved everything about the place and would love to come back again someday.

This was the second time my family has stayed at this lovely property. Cannot say enough of how delightful it is… From the location, ( ease of walking to beaches) cleanliness and organization of spaces and lots of beach paraphernalia! We look forward to coming back
