Hale Walelia by Alekona Kauai: Poipu Kai 3 Bedroom w Pool, Spa, steps to Shipwreck Beach

Beautiful property. Pool and spa were perfect since temperature was controllable. So great to be close to Shipwreck beach.

We had a wonderful time at this home and would definitely come back. The location was great, neighborhood is quiet, walkable and close to everything. The pool was a huge hit for our kids. The neighborhood pool was really cold and the large hot tub is for ages 14.As far as the house goes:Pros: kitchen super well stocked in terms of dishware/appliances (even had a bottle warmer), pool is private, quiet and beautiful and plenty of shade for parents to supervise, walk to Hyatt and technically walk to Poipu (we ended up driving), fans in every room and blinds, washer and dryer away from sleeping areas, easy access to lots of things (currently lots of road construction but that’s temporary), water shoes for kids were super helpful and lots of beach chairs, neighborhood was quiet and beautiful, great communication and a first day check in call, Cons: no boogie board (we left one), no ziploc bags that we could find, the main shared bathroom is off of a bedroom which can be tricky with different kid bed times.

We had a wonderful time at Poipu Kai. The location was great and the house was amazing. The pictures don’t do it justice. Everything was so well appointed. The road was on a cul de sac and quiet. The pool was beautiful and we enjoyed the hot tub. All of the bathrooms were a good size and had been remodeled as well as the kitchen. We highly recommend staying here.

Host was a rental agency, with everything you'd expect. Location was perfect for us, next door to the Hyatt and a 3 minute walk to the beach. House itself had a great floor plan with large open central area. All 3 BRs had AC and a ceiling fan.

The house and pool were perfect for our three generation vacation. Great location and a beautiful home.

The house was in the best location. A few minutes walk to view the sunrise at Shipwrecks each morning. A few minutes more to Poipu Beach. The house was the right size for 5 adults. The third bath was kind of small and attached to the laundry. The beds were comfy. The office was very responsive to a small issue with the grill, it was a fast and quick fix. I would definitely recommend this property.

Great family place to stay! Amazing pool and spa in the backyard with all the entertainment needs for our family of 6. The door shower was a highlight, nice and hot!

We just returned from a wonderful week in Hawaii. The home was perfect for our party of 4 (and could have accommodated more people). The check in and out process was very easy, the home was fantastic and exactly as advertised, spotlessly clean on arrival, in an amazing location (easy walk to multiple beaches and to the Grand Hyatt), and very very relaxing. We enjoyed the mornings and evenings on the patio and in the pool. We were sad to leave and would stay there again in a heartbeat!

The property was amazing! Our host was available and helped resolve a couple of issues as well as offering us garage space to unload the few surfboards and luggage before we checked in. The location is ideal, from proximity to Shipwrecks beach as well as nearby amenities (ie grocery store, coffee)
