Poipu 2BR 2BA - Ocean View Lanai - Full AC - Walk to Beach

View from shower is beautiful. Loved rooms. And secluded corner unit nice yard and outdoor sitting area. However….The master bed upstairs was worst I, we have ever slept on. Not what you would expect for a modern condo on Vrbo. Bed was not attached to headboard. Springs are worn and squeaked with slightest movement. you sink into bed with a high spot in the middle. husband felt he would roll off onto floor. Horrible bed. My husband and my combined weight is 300lbs. Downstairs bed was supportive and comfortable. Should replace upstairs with same bed model. House was surface cleaned. Sticky residue on tile floors. Needs deep cleaning. Dust in and on many surfaces. Kitchen was sparse with empty supplies like parchment, zip lock bags were snack size. Spices are old need replacing. Sticky residue on most bottles. I would recommend more tissue boxes. At least two full boxes. Three tissues in 1 box of tissue. Toilet paper sufficient rolls. Downstairs bathtub needs deep clean. Scum in and under safety non slip pad. Not owners fault, But lots of construction work and noise due to gardening almost every day.Kitchen was cleanest but needs non teflon, stainless frypans and more glass ware for iced tea instead of plastic. Internet service super slow at times. I would give a better rating if we could have slept. But bed was the most disappointing in whole experience. The manager called us back quickly.. For 300 cleaning, washing machine was full of mildew and mold in gasket. Needs attn

The beds were sooo comfortable and the kitchen had everything you could want, 2 of our group loved the coffee maker used pods. Loved sitting out on the lanai and seeing all the different birds. Would stay here again and again!! Thank you to our hosts!!

Great 2 week stay! Clean, roomy rooms minutes from the beach. Beach chairs, umbrella, plus a fully stocked kitchen. The new laundry machines were great Managers were very responsive. Mahalo!

The location was great! The Pools were perfect and lower level covered patio was the best during daily rain. The unit, though needing refreshing, worked well for our family. It is not fancy, needs a tropical redo and screens need replacing. I reported the sliding door issue to owners but never heard from property manager. A/C worked well. The lower level entry was great for older visitors.

The house was excellent, very clean, great location to the beaches. The pools were wonderful. It was nice to have the beach chairs. The only complaints are you need to fix the back sliding door it’s very sticky, the ice in the icemaker has a bad taste to it. You may want to clean or change the filter. Also, my sister said the bed upstairs wasn’t super comfortable. We were downstairs and that bed was fine.

What a wonderful stay! Communications with owner were helpful and prompt. Condo was clean, comfortable and accommodating. Location was fantastic and very convenient.I wish the weather was half a nice, we had multiple days of rain and high winds but still loved our visit to Kauai and Poipu. Will definitely stay again when we visit Poipu. Thank you so much for sharing your condo with us.

The smell of insecticide throughout the condo including on the linens was very off-putting on arrival. We had to open many windows to air the place out, which did help to make it tolerable. The floor was sticky downstairs. These issues may just come with being in a very damp environment, but we did not encounter them on another island.There were spacious living, dining, and primary bedroom areas. Private and pretty backyard. Be forewarned the upstairs primary bathroom area has no door for privacy. The downstairs second bedroom is snug for two adults with 40 lb suitcases. We were provided 1 roll of toilet paper downstairs and no laundry soap. The kitchen is well supplied for cooking.

What a fantastic property! We rented three different properties in this complex for a family trip, and this was our favorite of the three. The location is excellent- truly a short walk to the beach and the pool. Parking was abundant and always available.It's when you get inside that we were truly blown away. It is a well-designed and cared for space that makes you feel at home immediately. It has numerous air conditioners and fans that help make the temperature comfortable. The kitchen is incredibly well-stocked (sometimes better than our house!). It has a variety of spices and basic baking needs and every appliance you can think of. There were settings for 12 so we could have the entire family over. They have also kindly provided coolers and water bottles that were very helpful when we took day trips across the island.There also were beach chairs, boogie boards, beach toys, snorkeling sets, and hiking poles- literally everything you could need on a vacation. There even was a supply of bug sprays, sunscreens, and lotions for when you got burnt.The lanais were incredible. My kids enjoyed having breakfast each morning on the spacious yet private ground level lanai. The upstairs one provided views of the ocean. We also loved the master suite and bathroom upstairs. What a great design!Probably our favorite feature of the house was the main dining table. Absolutely beautiful and fit the space perfectly!So grateful to Lynn Marshall for sharing this space!

Everything was perfect!! The kitchen and bedrooms had everything you would need, not to mention great amounts of space. The backyard was definitely a highlight!

This was a nice place in a great location. Lovely property with lots of space. Hosts have truly thought of everything. Kitchen is well-stocked: food storage containers, spices, cooking oil, even a vase for the flowers we found at the farmers market! We appreciated the beach chairs, towels, umbrella, and boogie boards too! Thanks for a wonderful stay!

This condo is exactly as described on listing. They have EVERYTHING you need do not need to pack anything extra! The location is great, a short walk to the best beaches with TONS of sea turtles! If you’re staying down south and need LOTS of space book this condo!

We had a great time at this condo. Super close to Poipu, Brennecke's and Shipwreck beach. The pools were a great place to hang out in the afternoon

We have been going to Poipu since 1983. Poipu Kai is the preferred place to stay and Manualoha is the best of Poipu Kai. This condo was just fine. Very clean, comfortable beds, wonderful walk in shower, well stocked kitchen. There were temporary issues with roof construction next door and the owner was accomodating.Unfortunately we won't be back so long as the madman in charge in Washington threatens Canada's very existence

Our family of 5 adults highly recommend Marshall's condo. He was very responsive, flexible, and the amenities were excellent. Beautiful resort close to fun beaches, one with turtles sleeping on the beach at all times, which made it even more special. Do bring water shoes for all family members because water entry can a bit painful without them. We would definitely stay here again. Thanks Marshall!

This was our second stay at this great condo. Location is perfect for short walks to Poipu, Brennecke and Shipwreck beaches. Well stocked kitchen and very clean. I love the upstairs walk in shower and the view. Recommend highly.

This is a great place for a small family or a couple. We loved having the kitchen to do a little bit of cooking and save money on food. It was so close to so many amazing things, but best of all a great swimming beach and a great snorkeling beach.

This condo was everything we wanted and more. It was a 3-5 minute walk from two beaches, one with a couple of cool places to eat and grab a couple of gifts, good for snorkeling, turtle watching, and with two lifeguard stations; the other that was better for boogie boarding but with no lifeguard. The condo itself was peaceful, beautiful, and spacious. The grounds are lovely, too. We had trouble with one air mattress but the property manager was able to point us to a second air mattress in another room that worked perfectly. The only things that could have been better would have been a television that was easier to use (we wanted to watch the Olympics so had to switch to one or the other remote and it was constantly challenging despite the accurate instructions in the guest book) and if there had been newer and nicer frying pans because we wanted to cook our own meals. The three available for use were very scratched up and ragged. The challenges were insignificant compared with how much we loved staying at this location.

It was a wonderful visit and a great location. Loved the two pools and being so close to the ocean. Also, accompanied our family with having a pack and play, high chair, and a blowup mattress. Had all you needed for the beach…chairs, umbrella, cooler, snorkeling gear, etc. Would definitely stay here again!

I have stayed in many condos but this one by far the best. Comfortable beds, cool breezes to cool you down at night. Over all the condo was large enough to accommodate our family of four. My husband was suppose to come but he passed this last December so this was great place to relax and grieve. Thank you for a wonderful place.

We had a lovely time at Manualoha in Poipu Kai. The property was custom made for us , especially when our son’s family and a 5 year old took over the upstairs. Plenty of room for all. A short walk to the pool and beach…we had a great time.

The place was nicer than we expected. I wouldn't mind staying here again if we ever make it back to the island.

Very clean, comfortable, well appointed. Great location, beautiful grounds. Easy walk to Poipu Beach, close to restaurants. Gonna miss my new chicken buddies!

The condo was very comfortable, beds were extremely comfortable and the kitchen with all the appliances and utensils was very efficient. The location was beautiful! Ours needs and expectations were completely met. All in all a great stay!
