Guest Access:
You will receive a link to an online guest book when it gets close to your arrival date. You will receive the link by email and text. The home has an electronic lock at the bottom level where the cars are parked. A code will be generated into your guest book just before your arrival day.
The Neighborhood:
Hoone Rd, fronting Poipu Beach Park and Brenneckes Beach, turns into Pee Rd. This winding street is a popular place to watch the sunset on the wall fronting Nihi Kai or to walk one way and return to the Poipu Kai Greenbelt.
Getting Around:
When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.
Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation gives you the flexibility to visit these iconic locations on your own schedule.

Host was excellent. The bathrooms were so stuffy- no airflow. The unit was very dated. Nice kitchen upgrade, though. The location right next to the garbage was gross. For most of our stay, walking past the garbage to get into the unit was miserable.
We enjoyed our stay very much. The information I received on a regular base in advance from the host/manager was very helpful and useful. Never had so much info in advance elsewhere.We felt very welcome, we celebrated my husband’s retirement and received a super generous gift basket.The house is cosy and we had everything we needed. The view and the quiet, peaceful environment were very special. One can only hear the birds singing.Very short to Poipu beach, where you can spot turtles resting on the beach.A place to come back….
Oh, apparently Poipu has an actual Crater and these properties are settled inside of it! Interesting setup with upstairs and downstairs rooms worked perfectly for my wife and mother-in-law, plus the short walks to the ocean made for lovely morning strolls and access to the beach. The code I was provided to access the front door lock and the backup lock both were wrong, so I had to call the property to determine the correct code. This minor inconvenience was made easier thanks to the copious communication the property owners provided and I had someone on the phone within a minute to resolve the issue. Minor cleanup on departure included throwing out trash and running the dishwasher since we used plates and utensils but nothing else. Very homey and welcoming, though if you're not used to it (or you have loud suite-mates) the windows are meant to allow the breeze and sound in so I hope you enjoy the sound of chickens and cardinals early in the morning (because I actually did).
