One-Bedroom Condominium at Kiahuna Plantation, Ocean-Front Property, Poipu Kauai

My wife and I had an incredible stay at the Kihuna Plantation condo. The condo is at a great location on the southern part of the island. It’s a short walk to see the turtles and to the beach. I would definitely stay again.Mahalo Bull!

After 5 nights in a Resort on the East Shore (albeit a great resort), it was wonderful to check into a home. Bill provided great directions, advice on things to see/ do, and terrific communiication before and up to arrival. The check in was seemless and the Castle Resort staff made us feel welcome.Then, there was Bill's Condo. Warm, inviting, and perfectly located for adventures on the South and West Shores. We can walk to Hiahina Beach, Little Fish (coffee/ aca'i) or The Atheletic Club and less than a five minite drive to Po'i'pu Beach (with parking). It's quick access to Koko'a, Waimea Canyon, and the Na'Pali Coast charters (you'll want to see ALL of this). But, a great part of the trip was at nighttime, sitting out on Bill's lanai overlooking the garden, star gazing, and listening to the night birds (the chickens save their serenade for the morning...don't worry....that's pretty cool, too).The condo is nice and cool upon arrival (much appreciated as us Coloradoans don't see much 88 degree weather with 90% humidity), very clean, and spacious....but. most of all, fun! Bill provided beach chairs/umbrellas and boogie boards. Parking is easy and Guest Laudry facilities were clean and accessible. Housekeeping came twice in 5 days (not at all in the other Resort) and there were no "surprise" resort fees.Overall, we could not have been luckier in finding Bill's Condo through Vrbo. On our next trip back (and there will be at least one), I'll call Bill first. Mahalo, Bill!

Great place for a couple. Very cozy. Fresh towels were great during our stay. It was a long walk to the pool across the street so we didn’t visit too much. Some spices would have been nice for cooking or bbqing. We bought some of the Salty Wahine spices and took them home.

It was a perfect stay and looking forward to staying there again soon!

This was our third visit to Kiahuna Plantation and Bill’s condo was fantastic! Very well stocked with cookware and beach gear (chairs, umbrella, coolers, fins). There were tons of books, like a mini library! The bed and pillows were super comfortable (which is hard to find in a rental). The AC is always a plus on those warm days. He was excellent with communication about the area and the condo.

My wife and I could not say enough good things about our stay. The location was a quick walk to the beach, food, and other amenities. There was even a shopping center a short drive away from our location. Our room was exactly what we needed, clean, quiet, and had plenty of stocked cooking utensils and beach related items. We enjoyed sitting on the balcony, which was peaceful and had views of the lush trees and plants the area has to offer. The host was extremely helpful, and we are so grateful for his recommendations and kindness. Highly recommend the stay here!

This was a great location and a beautiful property. Bill was communicative and gave us so much helpful information. Definitely recommend.

Our family had a great stay, enjoying the easy walking access to Poipu Beach and quick drive to Koloa for restaurants and other amenities. The condo had everything we needed and the resort amenities including frequent towel changes and trash service were a big plus. Bill provided a lot of detailed information that helped us pack correctly and enjoy the area. Overall good value.

I had everything I wanted or needed in Bill’s condo. The bed was comfy, the kitchen had all the necessary gadgets, appliances and utensils I needed. The living and dining room were very comfortable. A few days I had some work to do on the lanai, birds would join me on the ledge. It was beautiful. The grounds are lovely and the beaches promise many delights!

Simply check in and enjoy home away from home.

Bill’s condo at Kiahuna Plantation, made our vacation enioyable and very relaxing. The condo is very clean, the bed was comfortable, and had everything we needed. The condo is tucked away in the back, farther from the beach than most of the other rooms at Kiahuna, but still a very easy walk, and also very close to the Athletic Club (if you want to enjoy the pool). One of our fave things to do, was walk over to Poipu beach at sunrise and sunset to see the turtles. Before we arrived, Bill gave us a very detailed instructions on everything from directions to the condo, to check in process, to food recommendations. There was a few times, I referred back to his notes, so they absolutely came in handy. What was the cherry on top of an amazing stay, was Bill accommodating our late check out when we had a red eye flight. My only advice to anyone staying in the future, if you have questions on anything, you probably have better luck reaching out to Bill directly rather than the property management Castle Resorts. Anytime we called them with a question, they didn’t seem to know much. (Ex. Didn’t know if beach chairs were provided on beach or if they charge) Also seemed confused by our late check out on our last day, even though we verified with them during check in. In the end, it worked out just fine! Overall, I would highly recommend Bill’s place

Nice accommodations for a smaller 1 bed 1 bath, across the street from the fitness and pool club as well as a populate coffee / açaí bowl establishment. All in all a great experience, comfortable furniture, safe, and quiet.

Great spot! Super responsive host and really excellent selection of toys for our son. Can't recommend highly enough!

Bill was very communicative prior to our trip, with several tips. The pictures are dated -- the place actually looks way nicer on the inside than expected! The boogie boards and snorkel gear were also a plus. We would definitely consider staying here again!

We loved our patio view, and we were very grateful for all the amenities. It was so helpful not having to rent any items for our beach days. The place was very clean and love all the seating areas. Property was beautiful

The unit i had was in excell ent condition, with new furniture. It also has air conditioning!! It is located in the area at back of Kiahuna property , clise to athleyic club with pool, spa, bar that serves food as well. Also close to beach, short walk...

The property is well-maintained and clean with courteous staff. The location is convenient to the pool and athletic club. Parking is plentiful and convenient. Although the location is a short walk to the beach it gave us the opportunity to enjoy a morning walk and take in the beautiful grounds. Most of all, the owner is pleasant, responsive and communication was excellent. We visited in July, during peak summer season, the AC was a plus and kept the unit cool and comfortable. We enjoyed our stay at this property and think you will too!

Kiahuna has been our choice for accommodations in Poipu for 20+ years and never disappoints

The condo was clean and comfortable. The owner, Bill, had excellent and thorough communication. The AC was so appreciated, as we had never had it in our many other stays at Kiahuna. The towel exchange and trash collection every other day was also appreciated.

Condo had everything we needed and then some extras for the beach! Wouod strongly recommend!! Good price too!!

Delightful stay here. Great location, very responsive and helpful owner, place was clean. Beds are comfortable! Had everything a family needs, even beach chairs and body boards. Kids loved the access to Poipu Beach Club across the street. I loved having access to a laundry facility. Would definitely stay here again.

The location was great for our family. The property had everything we needed to enjoy the stay and our son loved the extra toys and puzzles. Host is very detailed and left no question unanswered. We are already looking to come back.

My husband and I stayed for 11 days, and it truly was home away from home. I cannot wait to come back!
