Welcome to Hula Blue, a peaceful 4-bedroom, 2.5-bath home tucked along the Poipu Kai Greenbelt in sunny Koloa. It’s an easy place to settle in: mornings on the lanai, beach walks without getting in the car, afternoons by the community pool, and relaxed dinners after a day exploring Kauai’s South Shore.
The space
Hula Blue is designed for easy island living. The home has an open main living area, a comfortable lounge for movie nights or quiet evenings in, a well-equipped kitchen, indoor dining, and a private backyard lanai with a gas BBQ and outdoor dining space.

Location
One of the best parts of Hula Blue is the setting. Step out to the landscaped Poipu Kai Greenbelt, a scenic walking path that connects you to beaches, resort amenities, and nearby dining. Walk one direction toward Shipwreck Beach and the Grand Hyatt Kauai, where you’ll find restaurants, bars, ocean views, and spa options. Head the other direction toward Poipu Beach Park for swimming, snorkeling, sunsets, and the chance to spot turtles or monk seals.
You’re also close to Brennecke’s Beach, the Mahaulepu Heritage Trail, golf, botanical gardens, Koloa Town, and The Shops at Kukui‘ula.

Guests have access to the home, private lanai, garage beach gear, and the community pool and hot tub through Poipu Kai. The pool and hot tub are shared community amenities, not located directly in the backyard.
Other things to note
No smoking, pets, or parties. Quiet hours are observed, and Poipu Kai has 24-hour security. Hula Blue is meant to be a calm, comfortable home base for enjoying Kauai well.

Had some issues with the kitchen sink but they were minor. Everything else was wonderful
Good location on quiet street. Easy access to beaches, restaurants, Hyatt and trails from greenbelt. House is VERY well equipped. Comfortable beds. Appreciate all the beach gear! Lots of extras. Would book again.
Our family of 8 enjoyed the easy walks to the beach, access to the pool and hot tub, and spaciousness of the house. We rented the owner’s vehicle and the property manager was great in working with us to get our luggage back and forth when we would not have been able to fit both at the same time otherwise - saving us from having to make multiple trips. It was nice to have access to beach gear although it’s well used now. We visited a local fish market and grilled one night and had what we needed for that. They were great hosts even sharing a well put together guidebook / list of recommendations. Thank you for stay!
We loved staying at Victor and Laura’s Kauai Love-Family Home! The place was perfect for our family—spacious 4 bedrooms, super comfortable beds, strong A/C, and that nice open layout made it easy to relax after beach days. Everything was clean and well-equipped, and the greenbelt access to the nearby beaches was a huge plus. Victor and Laura were quick to respond and really helpful throughout. Thanks for making our Kauai trip so enjoyable—we’d definitely stay again!”
This is a spacious home in a great location on the Poipu beltway! The owners and property manager are wonderful to work with! They have all of the beach toys, chairs, umbrellas, boogie boards, beach towels and a wagon. We had a great time!

We were five adults - long term friends who live in widely different places who met here for a reunion. The property was in a fantastic location - close to the airport and great beaches and well placed for access to the whole island. The property is spacious and extremely well equipped. Plenty of seating, great for cooking and lovely outside dining space. All great - single beds not so comfortable for older adults maybe but for a family or groups traveling with kids this would not be a problem. Warm hosts who were responsive And friendly. Highly recommended.
