Mauna Lani Beach Club is one of the best kept secrets on the Big Island. This hidden away beach has a restaurant, Napua Restaurant, that looks over Makaiwa Bay and historic Kalahuipua'a fishponds. Lovely unit! Spacious, super clean, and quiet! The kitchen was beyond our expectations. Lots of dishes, cookware, utensils, etc. There was even a meat thermometer. The outdoor grill is high quality and worked well. The electric igniter did not work, but there was a butane lighter in the unit that worked fine to light the gas grill. If we return to the big island, we will contact LUVA to book our stay.Mahalo!!
Over all everything was great.
The place is as advertised. Definitely bring your own beach towel or stop at Costco and buy one. The pools, hot tub and exercise area was awesome. Great location!
While this is a very nice area to stay, this townhome needs a few upgrades. The furniture in the living room, seats maybe three adults comfortably and is definitely in need of upgrading. You also might want to bring beach towels, there are only two & very thin/small. The upstairs dresser needs to be replaced, does not easily open/close.We did have a wonderful week and would definitely like to check out more of the island.

We are veterans of renting VRBO property in Hawaii. This townhouse was absolutely beautiful! The house was very well stocked. The kitchen had everything you could ever need. There was also extra toilet paper, laundry detergent, etc... which is above and beyond for most rentals! It was comfortable and very convenient. We LOVE having access to the private Mauna Lani Beach Club - so beautiful! Property management was quick to respond and very helpful! This townhouse was absolutely perfect....except for the beach gear. One of the reasons we do VRBO is so we do not have to bring our own stuff. This rental provided the stuff- but it was in horrible shape. There were three thin beach towels (odd since the VRBO is strict about only allowing 4 people). Three beach chairs that don't open or stay well. Snorkel gear is mostly broken, boogie boards are broken and beach umbrella is poor quality and falling apart. We worked around it but it wasn't ideal. Other than that, the rental is gorgeous! The bedrooms are nice, the bathrooms are huge and we enjoyed our stay very much!

Great condo. The two-master bedroom set up was great for escaping for a work call or a nap in the second room. It would be ideal for two couples. The kitchen is very well stocked and the unit is pretty private because it backs up to an open space. This was our first time staying in the Kulalani complex and we highly recommend it. Great location, pool area and workout facilities, and it's quiet. This particular condo is not far from the road, so you do get a little road noise from all the traffic going to/from the Fairmont. As always, LUVA does a nice job managing the process and responding if you need anything. We've rented several places under their management and always had a great experience.
Very nice property in a beautiful location near family. Our sister lives in this complex and hosted a meet and greet for her son’s wedding guests at the pool area.
This is a very nice 2 suite property with 2 primary bedrooms, each with their own full en suite, good kitchen with full stock of dishes, pots, pans, appliances, and very nice living spaces indoor and outdoor. The shared pools and gym and first rate and close by (150 metres). We have stayed in other units in this community and this property is very good. Grocery is nearby. Some beaches and restaurants are walkable but you need a car to get to the best beaches and better restaurants
