Ota House - a 3br/2.5ba mountain view home in Princeville

We had a wonderful time at this house, the location was great! Check in was simple. We had an issue with the garage door opener and the problem was handled same day and the management was very friendly. We would absolutely stay here again.

The Ota house was perfect for our family of 4 (kids 9 and 11). The location was ideal, in a quiet residential area, walking distance to Hideaways Beach and beautiful views, super short drive to Foodland and short drive to Hanalei. Plenty of linens and towels, spacious for our needs, beds were comfortable, water was hot and the TV worked fine once we figured out which remote to use :) Beach chairs and coolers were available as was snorkeling gear. However I recommend renting snorkeling gear if you can as the ones at the rental are a bit older, a harder plastic and not super comfortable; but they were adequate for us. The house was clean for the most part. The kitchen had a few items that were not cleaned and had to be run through the dishwasher. There is a charcoal bbq that we used a bunch and my husband raved about since rentals usually have gas bbq. We cooked at the house quite a bit. We prefer a gas stove for cooking but the gas stove was adequate. I do wish there were baking sheets available. Also, there are just a few spices and oil provided, so you have to supply everything else. There is a coffee maker but I don't recall seeing a grinder. The lanai and back yard were perfect, surrounded by beautiful plants and well kept. We loved waking up to the songs of birds, and hearing the chirping of the geckos that sneaked into the house. The rental company was quick to respond when we needed anything. I highly recommend this house!

The views and neighborhood for this property are amazing! We loved our stay and would return, though the cleanliness was lacking, unfortunately.

The house was as described, it fit perfectly for the 3 of our family. Beautiful yard and backyard. We really enjoyed our time there.

I wrote in the guest book- the kitchen was very well equpped the only thing we missed was a tea strainer.Loved having the beach chairs! emasculate lawn- like a golf green. very comfortable beds. The master could use a mirror somewhere. Really well done. We cleaned up broken glass under the glass table- but it could use a vacuum for pieces we might have missed. We broke one glass in the kitchen. a great trip!!!

The property checked all the important boxes for me - reasonable price, clean, comfortable mattresses, charcoal grill, well stocked kitchen. It's close to lots of great snorkeling, beautiful tropical plants in the backyard with chickens roaming around and tiny cute lizards often hanging out on the window-sills. Woke up every morning to a nice breeze blowing through the house and the sounds of insects and birds. Hideaway beach is only a 20 minute walk and it is incredible. We saw more coral, fish and turtles there than we did at Anini, Ke'e or tunnels. It isn't crowded since there are only 6 parking spaces and the access is pretty tricky, down a steep path that is not well maintained and quite slippy in places. I would definitely come back here.

Don’t bother booking this place… I’m going to buy it and live in it forever and ever! I hope they bury my bones in the backyard so I can listen to the birds singing each morning, enjoy the amazing views of the mountains in the day, and gaze at a star-filled sky during the night.This home is exactly that… a home and not a house. It provides all the simple necessities, nothing too fancy getting in the way of enjoying a good night’s sleep so you can have more quality time with loved ones! E le’a mai!

This home is in a great location with grocery store and many activities (parks, restaurants, etc.) The yard is well kept and beautiful plants surround. The house is in a neghborhood so some dog barking, etc. The blinds in the bedrooms are missing. Overall, we enjoyed the stay.

We had a lovely time in this house. It was a very quiet neighborhood and centrally.located. Our toddler appreciated the yard and we ate many meals outside. Would 10/10 recommend.

We had again an amazing time on the North Shore. He house comes with everything you need and on top with beautiful sunsets.
