Rental Details

Rental Overview

Summary:

Start the day with coffee on the lanai, walk toward Honl's Beach, and return to an oceanfront setting made for an afternoon by the pool. This one-bedroom Kona Shores condo sleeps four and is minutes from the lively heart of Kailua-Kona, with Ali'i Drive's shops and restaurants close by. The simple, comfortable layout includes a full kitchen with a gas stove, a bright living room, and a sunny bedroom that opens toward the lanai. The community pool and sundeck give you a place to reset between beach outings, while the shared grill keeps dinner relaxed. Drive south for snorkeling at Kahalu'u Beach Park or north to browse Kailua Village and watch activity at the pier. A good fit for a couple or small family who want a well-located Kona base and the ocean close.

The Space:

Enter through a bright living area with a TV, then settle into an eat-in kitchen with white appliances and a gas stove. Sliding doors connect the sunny bedroom to the lanai, a natural spot for coffee, cards, or a warm Kona evening. This one-bedroom, one-bath condo sleeps up to four in 435 square feet. The window air-conditioning unit runs on a one-hour timer; there is no dishwasher.

Guest Access:

Guests at Kona Shores enjoy access to the oceanfront communal pool and shared resort grounds, with beach access just steps away. Units are single level with a private entrance and a lit path for easy evening arrivals. Pets are welcome, and nearby shopping and a laundromat add everyday convenience. Some resort facilities are operated independently by the resort.

The Neighborhood:

Kona Shores is set on Ali'i Drive, with the ocean at the complex and Kailua-Kona's town energy an easy drive away. Honl's Beach is nearby for a quick surf check or sunset stop, while Kailua Village has restaurants, coffee shops, small stores, and Kailua Pier. Drive south for Kahalu'u Beach Park when snorkeling is on the list. The setting works well for guests who like having a waterside place to return to after a day of exploring the Kona Coast.

Getting Around:

Kona International Airport is about 10 to 15 minutes away, making arrival simple. A rental car is recommended so you can explore the Kona Coast at your own pace. Downtown Kailua-Kona's shops, restaurants, and oceanfront Ali'i Drive are often within walking distance or a short drive, with beaches, snorkeling spots, and grocery stores close by. Parking is generally available on site or nearby, whether street or lot.
