There are many other places that are a short drive away including: Volcano National Park, Parker Ranch, the Kohala Coast, Waipio Valley, the towns of Kona, Hilo or Waimea. Or just relax on the lanai, by the pool, or sit in the hot tub at night and enjoy the stars.
