Newly Remodeled, Beautiful Oceanfront Studio!

Absolutely Amazing Condo with Exceptional Responses. From the start, I received fast and friendly responses from the owner Jaime each time I messaged her. We walked into a condo that was Cool, Clean (and smelled clean!), Very Nicely Decorated with Ocean Theme, and absolutely Gorgeous View of the Ocean and the Islands. Even from the bed you can see the ocean. The balcony is such a wonderful place to eat your meals and so is the round dining table. The place is well stocked. I also liked that she provided hand liquid soap both by the kitchen sink and bathroom sink, as I dislike bar soaps to wash hands. Everything one needs to cook is available. Although, we did pick up a lot of Togo meals, as restaurants & groceries stores & even food trucks are nearby. I also really liked the welcome binder which provided information you needed and to me, which I’ve never seen at any rentals or hotels, is instructions where to go in event of weather disasters. So very important, especially where to drive to and what to do and take. I was going to take a pic of it but forgot before we left. Wish all owners & hotels would have this. It really shows how much the owners care for the well being of their guests. Btw, the sheets were very nice, much softer than the 5 star hotel we stayed prior week, and slept better in the bed at this condo. I highly recommend this condo. We will definitely book again but next time for a much longer stay. Mahalo Nui Jaime!

Jaime was an outstanding host, providing timely and informative instructions that made us feel completely prepared for our stay. Their oceanfront condo offered absolutely stunning views and every amenity needed for a comfortable visit. From elegant decor to a spacious shower, to the cozy beds and inviting lanai, everything was thoughtfully designed. We loved watching the sunrise each morning and spotting crabs and sea turtles throughout the day- Maui truly feels like a dream! We would highly recommend Jaime and Will’s condo for anyone seeking an unforgettable experience!

We had a wonderful stay in your rental! Clean and organized with a great view at the balcony! My only recommendation is to upgrade the AC. It turns on with a loud sound each time it's cooling the room. Other than that, it's an awesome place. Cheers!

This amazing studio room sits yards away from a sparkling ocean view! The sea wall ledge is a turtle feeding place making for excellent turtle sightings right from the comfort of your lanai. Great amenities, very comfortable bed, and the air conditioning works great! Very quiet location that’s close to shopping. We appreciated the excellent communication with the owner We will be back!

Didn’t want to leave! The condo has everything you need, and was so clean. Couldn’t ask for more. Hosts were so helpful. Location is stellar, close to several awesome snorkeling spots such as Honulu Bay and Slaughterhouse beach, check them out!

This was my 4th time in Maui, and by far the best condo I've stayed in. Awesome sunsets, sounds of the ocean and nightly whale sightings were great. I will be back next year!

We stayed for six days in late March and it truly exceeded all expectations, even with its stellar reputation.What sets this condo apart is not just its fun, nostalgic decor or its impeccable cleanliness. It’s the breathtaking, private ocean views from the lanai, where we watched whales breaching almost every time we stepped out and enjoyed spectacular sunsets that painted the sky each evening. This vantage point, with its panorama stretching to Moloka’i and Lana’i, offers a serene and utterly unique experience.Location-wise, this condo is a gem. Nestled away from the high winds of Kapalua and the busy resorts of Kaanapali, it offers peace while still being accessible to Maui’s top spots. Though the Road to Hana and Haleakala aren’t exactly nearby, we still visited both as day trips and closer adventures like Kaanapali Beach, Napili Bay, and the scenic drive to Nakalele Blowhole and Olivine Pools are must-dos. Tip: Catching a bus (line 29) is a breeze and saves you the parking troubles—perfect for day trips to nearby beaches like Kaanapali (our favorite).Jaime and Will provided clear instructions and everything needed for a carefree stay. We didn’t have to worry about a thing. This place felt like our own slice of paradise. We can’t wait to return and continue exploring from this perfect Maui base.

This was our first time visiting Maui. We loved our stay at Jamie and Will’s and will definitely plan another stay on our next trip! The mornings on the lanai were amazing…coffee, whales, and perfect rainbows . Sunsets were gorgeous .

Perfect size for 2. Guest host answers questions promptly. Beautiful view and tastefully decorated. Love the little extras like guest size shampoos, etc. A new mattress may be in the future. Otherwise it was great!

We LOVED our stay! The best part was being able to enjoy our coffee in the mornings on the lanai watching the sunset — it’s always what I look forward to most when on vacation! The condo was perfect for our small family (2 adults, 1 4 y/o) and it was a great place to relax after exploring the island and being in the sun and water all day. Beautiful weather week of 9/2/24! This was our 2nd stay at Pohailani Maui Resort, 2 different studio condos. Great location! You can walk to beaches, food places, etc... Condo is clean and well stocked. Reasonably priced as well. Pictures of condo are accurate. Assigned parking is a plus! We saw several sea turtles and mom/baby Manta Reys - very cool!

I would definitely stay here again! The condo was clean and was exactly as described. Absolutely loved every minute! The owners were friendly and communicative when I had questions. My only regret is that I couldn't stay longer! Looking forward to staying here again.

Property was exactly as advertised. It was right on the water, clean and comfortable. Air conditioner and ceiling fan kept things cool, beach towels and chairs kept us on the go. Decorated very well, easy to access with great communication from the owners. Though we used them sparingly the kitchen had all of the pots, pans, dishes and utensils needed. Overall great experience.

I used to live on the Lower Road in Maui and so it was wonderful returning to that lovely neighborhood. The studio is clean and well stocked - with gorgeous ocean views. Coffee on the lanai every morning was a highlight. Would definitely recommend.

So happy that we found this little slice of heaven for our remaining stay in Maui this past trip. Everything was exactly how it has been described by other reviewers. My wife and I enjoyed our stay. We only wish it was a wee bit longer. The lanai sits on the second floor and you have an open viewing of a beautiful sunset every evening, and if you love turtles, then you are in for a real treat. Whether you’re viewing them from the Lanai or down onto the grassy area in front of the seawall, you’ll have turtles feeding off the algae below. It is really a nice place to stay. The place was very clean. The bed was comfortable, and you have the right location to walk to Maui Brew company or down the street to the beach if you want to sit down onto the sand. Definitely would recommend staying here for at least three nights.

Super nice, close to the ocean. It was perfect for me and my hubby. We got to see the turtles eat daily at the water by the wall around 3-4pm. So fun!

We had an amazing time staying here. Watching the turtles every day was a highlight for us. We rented snorkeling equipment just down the road and had the incredible experience of swimming alongside the turtles. The sunsets were breathtaking, and the views were always wonderful. This is a large, pretty, well-decorated studio with a spectacular ocean view, sitting feet from the water. The lanai is also surprisingly spacious. I sat out there for hours watching whales in the distance. The condo is in an excellent location, minutes from Kaanapali (Black Rock beach), with other beaches nearby. Jamie and Will are excellent hosts: friendly and responsive, with lots of good tips. The bathroom is a decent size, though with its configuration, guests with mobility issues may have some problems. Also, there is no direct beach access in front, if that is important to someone. Otherwise, this is a fantastic choice for those looking for a place in West Maui.

This place was what I was looking for, some place to rest, relax and reset. The views alone were amazing, but the attention to little details exceeded our expectations (board games, beach equipment, stocked kitchen). The daily rainbows and whales in the distance left us in complete awe. We cooked and dined on the lanai as we enjoyed the melodic sounds of the waves. The location of the condo was perfect for the activities we wanted to do. Mahalo Jamie and Will for making our stay memorable!

Overall an enjoyable stay. Nicely appointed studio condo fully equipped with everything you need. An older unit and complex, but maintained and in working order. AC was quiet and cool. TV and internet worked great. Owner was responsive to communications.

Myself, my wife and daughter booked this accommodation for December 28 & 29, 2024 during our vacation at West Maui. Check in procedure was very smooth and as per guidance. Inside of room was clean and nicely decorated. View of ocean was fantastic from the room as well as lanai. I like the place very much.

The a/c unit is much too small for the condo. Temp is 78-82 in the condo. We almost slept in our car the first night before we left. Owner does not care. Unbearable. Also , fridge does not get cold enough for any refrigerated items. Don’t waste your money on stuff that must stay cold. It will go bad. This beach the description speaks of is a strip of sand that the owner admits disappears during high tide. Entire description of condo is an optimistic exaggeration. We had to scramble to find somewhere else to stay. Don’t stay here
