Clean and well stocked kitchen with washer and dryer which is always a bonus. Nice ocean view…..even saw turtles. Bedroom AC might be a bit distracting if used to central air but we were fine with it. Owners were responsive to communication. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay

The sunsets are 10/10! Absolutely stunning! The beach access is great!! We didn’t have little ones with us, but I would be hesitant to bring younger swimmers out in the ocean. The waves were very big. The pool & hot tub were great amenities as well. The condo was easy to check into. It was a little older but matched the photos. The highest downfall for us was location. Nothing about the property but so many homeless camps all through the area. Very little to do around the condo as well. The beaches near by were over run by homeless so you really couldn’t use them. Felt a little isolated to the resort. If you’re looking for either a place to stay and go adventure all around the island or never leave the condo, this place is for you! Just know there isn’t a lot in the surrounding neighborhood BUT THE SUNSETS ARE CHEF KISS!

We had a very relaxing stay, listened to the surf day and night, swam in the ocean! Wonderful vacation!!!

While I will say the view is absolutely breath taking that is about all you’re going to get out of this rental. There are homeless camps everywhere including to the left of the beach that the condo is on. It also makes any surrounding beaches off limits for this reason as well. If you have young children the waves are a little much for safe swimming. My husband and I didn’t even feel safe getting in the water. While the condo was fairly clean there was an unpleasant smell we couldn’t get past. The water out of the taps smelled weird too. The water was going to be shut off for a couple hours the following day of our check in which we got a last minute heads up for. The whole area around the condo is rough and doesn’t offer much. We felt confined to the condo bc we absolutely did not feel safe to walk around the area. We actually ended up spending the one night and leaving the next morning. We booked a last minute air bnb back in Waikiki for the remaining week we were there. It isn’t close to anything unless that’s what you’re looking for but even then Makaha isn’t a great area. I’m shocked at the many good reviews for this “resort.” Pros for this place would be the owners are quite responsive. That’s about it. Everything else about this place is very misleading.

The property was very nice and well maintained. The condo was exactly as mentioned and was clean and had everything we needed. We saw beautiful sunsets! Owners were available when we had questions. Highly recommend!

When we first saw this 16 story older condominium high rise it wasn’t what we had expected, but it grew on us. Folks there seemed like a community, it was safe and the beach was fun, even though a lot of wave action. It was great to be away from the touristy side of Oahu and get a glimpse of a more real mixed neighborhood. The homeless encampments on other nearby beaches were hard to see, especially when one doesn’t know how to help best, but it was wonderful to enjoy other beaches where Hawaiian kids were learning to paddle outriggers and embrace Hawaiian culture. Would definitely recommend Paradise for a relaxing, low-key, not luxurious and yet unforgettable experience.

Nice condo with excellent view and beach access!

Beautifully located on the Wainaea coast, you have access to quiet beaches, services, and wonderful scenery. My wife and I like to go for beach walks, hikes, and local shopping. You are within walking distance to many things, easy drives of less than 10 minutes to others. If you are looking for a quiet get-away and far enough, but still close enough to Honolulu, this is the place for you. 3rd floor lanai makes it a perfect view of the ocean and nearby hills. Snorkeling and swimming are made easy, and there is a tennis court that is also used for Pickleball.

The location and beach were the best. The condo was great and exactly as advertised. The owners were very helpful and responsive. We throughly enjoyed our stay and would definitely consider this property for future visits to Oahu.

Got to see turtles, whales and surfers from lanai. Beach is amazing. Grounds are well kept.

Loved this condo so much! Definitely a chill environment. The views sunset and beach were awesome! Just up the road or lots of great surfing beaches, and other beautiful fun places to hang out. This condo is not for party. It’s definitely a cozy, safe place to stay cook a good meal and get a good nights, sleep and lounge on the beach. Definitely getting groceries and planning on cooking delicious meals at home because it’s a bit of a food dessert. There are lots of yummy snacks in the area, loca Kalo Bomb and poke from Market and a few plate, lunches and fast food but otherwise, I would definitely plan on cooking your own meals at home. I love with my whole heart the west side. Mitch and his family were super communicative and helpful.

This unit was just right for me and a friend. Amazing sunsets. Direct access to a sparsely populated beach. Beautiful turquoise waters. All the amenities we needed, both in the unit and for beach and pool activities. Grocery store relatively nearby. Limited restaurant options but what we did have was good, and we preferred to cook anyway. Perfect temperature in the unit, and the sound of the surf at night. Would definitely return!
