The unit was renovated in 2026 an as one of the only true oceanfront units at Kanaloa, you can hear the waves from inside the condo.
Head up the internal staircase to the main level and discover an open-concept living area with floor-to-ceiling windows framing gorgeous panoramic ocean views. Relax in the living room or step out to your private oceanfront lanai — the perfect spot for morning coffee or sunset cocktails with the sound of the surf below. You may even spot sea turtles, spinner dolphins, or humpback whales (seasonal) right from your lanai!
Spread across two levels, Kanaloa 1903 offers a layout that gives everyone room to relax. Internal stairs lead up to the elevated main level — and it's this height that delivers the unparalleled ocean views. Had an amazing stay at this absolutely oceanfront condo in Kona! Listening to the sound of the waves and hanging out on the huge lanai (with a bar!) was absolute perfection. The place is super spacious with gorgeous high ceilings, new furniture and linens, and giant windows looking right out at the water. We loved chilling by the resort pools and hitting the tennis courts, too. Such a relaxing, beautiful spot for a Hawaiian getaway—highly recommend this new listing!
The ultimate Hawaiian getaway! The condo itself is just breathtaking, with million dollar direct ocean views and soaring vaulted wood ceilings that make the space feel huge and airy. Falling asleep to the sound of the Pacific Ocean and waking up to sip coffee on the oceanfront lanai was food for the soul. We were absolutely swept away by the resort grounds as well. The entire property is impeccably maintained, lush, and surrounded by tropical palms, making you feel completely immersed in the beauty of the island. We loved having access to the beautiful oceanfront pools and tennis courts right in our backyard. We wouldn't want to stay anywhere else on the Big Island!
If I could give this condo 10 stars, I would! It is so incredibly rare to find a vacation rental that feels this luxurious and thoughtfully put together. I’m so glad I took a chance on a new listing - it was beyond amazing. The hosts have clearly invested a lot of love into this space, outfitting it with gorgeous, brand-new furniture that perfectly complements the island vibe. After long days in the sun, climbing into bed was pure bliss. The new mattresses are absurdly comfortable—honestly, better than what we have at home!—and they were made up with the softest new linens. It was the absolute best sleep we’ve had in years. And the view! Absolutely stunning. You couldn’t ask for a condo closer to the ocean. A truly five-star, resort-level vacation.
This oceanfront haven is pure paradise! I cannot overstate how mind-blowing the views are. You walk into the living room and are immediately greeted by the most stunning, unobstructed sight of the Kona coastline. We spent almost all our time out on the lanai just watching the waves crash against the lava rocks. On top of feeling like a secluded tropical oasis, the central location is absolutely perfect—you are just minutes away from the best snorkeling spots, dining, and shopping in Kona. We are already looking at our calendars to see when we can book this dream spot again!
