Welcome to Royal Kahana 1009. This spacious (777 square feet with a 150-square-foot lanai) 10th floor 1 bedroom, 1 bathroom condo offers some of the best views on the westside. The private lanai overlooks the beautiful Pacific Ocean & both Islands of Lanai and Molokai. The Master Bedroom has a California king bed & the Living Area has a queen sleeper sofa. PARKING & FEES
• Parking Fee: $18/day + tax, payable directly to the front desk upon check-in

• Damage Insurance Fee: $100 covers up to $1,500 in accidental damage.

IMPORTANT NOTES
CONSTRUCTION NOTICE:
Stucco repair work is ongoing at the resort.
It does not affect the pool, fitness center, lobby, or elevators, but light daytime noise may occur.
UNIT CONDITION:
This condo is older and not remodeled.
It’s exceptionally clean and well-stocked, but furnishings and décor are dated.
Please consider before booking if you prefer modern interiors.
HOTEL ZONED:
This property is Hotel Zoned and NOT in danger of the possible upcoming short-term rental ban.
BEACH INFORMATION:
The beach fronting Royal Kahana experiences seasonal ocean current changes that affect its size and accessibility.
During fall and winter, sand may temporarily wash away but typically returns in spring and summer.
Our HOA, the County of Maui, and the State of Hawaiʻi continue working to restore Kahana Bay.
If beach access is limited, a public beach access is located within a 5-minute walk.
(Photos from 1/16/23 show usable beach, but this is not guaranteed year-round.)
PEST CONTROL AND ROOSTERS:
Due to Maui’s rural location, you may encounter the occasional rooster or harmless gecko. Geckos are friendly, eat insects, and are considered good luck in Hawaiʻi — please don’t harm them.
The HOA performs regular pest control, but insects and lizards are part of island life.
HAWAIʻI CLIMATE:
Hawaiʻi’s tropical environment supports a variety of island wildlife, including geckos, ants, and occasional roosters.
Despite regular professional pest control, these are part of normal island living.
Our units are meticulously cleaned and inspected, and any contact with such pests does not constitute a breach of agreement or qualify for refund or adjustment.

We loved this condo! Direct ocean front views were spectacular! The condo had everything we needed for our 5 day stay. The Royal Kahana is a great place to stay while on Maui. The host were great with communications for our every need. I highly recommend this condo for your next stay in Maui. Can't wait to return.
we would stay again
This unit was perfect for our short stay and would have been perfect for an extended stay as well. Our daughter loved the pull out sofa and waking up to ocean views everyday as did we in the master bedroom. The view from the lenai is incredible! We spotted turtles everyday we were there. Would definitely recommend this stay to others but would like to see one very minor "upgrade" which is the showerhead. I am short as is my daughter. A detatchable head would have been ideal for us but certainly not a deal breaker.
Wonderful view of the ocean, numerous turtle sightings from the lanai. The condo has everything you could possibly want to make your stay just about perfect! Would absolutely recommend and would stay again!
The condo was fabulous! The view is amazing! The hotel staff was so welcoming and so was the concierge! The building manager was so accommodating to some issues we experienced and so was Stay Aloha Properties. All in all was an unforgettable stay with a lifetime of memories made. Everything we wanted was in this condo. We are so thankful for such an amazing experience. Highly recommend booking this condo!!! I hope one day to be back. Mahalo for making my birthday magical.

Thought we had a private beach but renovations were going on and we could not reach the beach at all.
It was a great location , the manager was very responsive. Really enjoyed our stay !
Excellent views; as advertised; very nice and quiet; convenient location to shopping, beaches, and all that Maui has to offer.
Fantastic view with beautiful sunsets. The condo was clean and comfortable. Watched turtles swim and play every day. I would recommend this condo to anyone wanting to come to Maui.
