See whales, dolphins, Ironman Village and Ali’i drive from your very own lanai! Island Glow in Kailua Village is a beautifully remodeled 1 bed 1 bath condo in the heart of historic Kailua Village. You will enjoy ocean views to the west from every room, as well as mountain views to the east. Enjoy the sunset from your own private lanai, the couch, the bed, the kitchen…you get the idea! An assigned parking space means you won’t have to pay to park while you explore downtown Kona because the ocean, shops and restaurants are just steps away!
The full kitchen has everything you need to make yourself at home with all new appliances. The bedroom has a brand new king mattress as well as a desk, in case you need to get some work done during your stay in paradise. Sliding doors to the bedroom can be closed for privacy. In the living room enjoy the smart tv, with basic cable and WiFi. Sit on the lanai to watch the waves crash, watch the boats go by, or you might even see a whale! Hawai’i charges a total of 18.71% in taxes on short term vacation rentals, this will be included in your total.
The condo will be stocked with a starter kit of 3 rolls of toilet paper and 1 roll of paper towels for each stay. Cleaning and laundry services are not provided during your stay, however there are supplies available for use.
The property has keyed access to the elevator and stairs for added security. You will need the keys provided to access the elevator, stairs, laundry room and pool. There are still about 4 stairs you will have to navigate to enter the condo.
While every effort is made to minimize contact, this condo is in a tropical region and it is impossible to eliminate all contact with insects and geckos. Presence of insects or geckos in and around the condo is not grounds for cancellation of a reservation.

This condo was in a great location with a modern decor. The balcony was great to enjoy cocktails and watch the evening sunsets. The host was very responsive when I had questions and there was a box of chocolates to welcome us. Would recommend this for others and hope to come back and stay again.
Newly remodel apartment, and done very nice! Everything worked fine except the lock box- which has been fixed! We’d be happy to stay there again!
We had a very enjoyable time at Island Glow! The condo was very clean and ready for us when we arrived. Check-in and check-out were easy and well described. Location near the shoreline shops and restaurants was great. We also of course appreciated the ocean view from the lanai. It was as beautiful as advertised. Mahalo for a wonderful Big Island experience!
We were lucky when we came during volcano eruption and we seen it. The view from balcony very nice especially sunset. The check in instructions very clear, the room was clean. So we are happy with this vacation
Loved this place and the flexibility of the host and staff. I had some unexpected circumstances come up and the host was super helpful. I only wish our stay was longer! Will definitely try to get this one again. The size and location was perfect!
Beautiful place! Super convenient stay right in Kona. Quiet at night. Great balcony. The bed is to hard for my liking but the couch was comfy enough to sleep on. Loved the spaciousness of the place. Set up well. Easy parking. Would stay again!
Excellent stay! Nice ocean view from the balcony and the bedroom. Included beach chairs, umbrella, and several pool tools. It even included boogie boards and several basic cooking ingredients. Thank you for sharing your place with us!

The unit was so nice, clean and updated! The lanai/deck was great to enjoy morning coffee and watch outriggers, swimmers and a couple of passenger ships. Everything we needed was there and more. We hope to return again soon, realizing there were so many things we didn't get to visit.
