Our spacious one bedroom/ two full baths is located on beautiful Kaanapali Beach and considered to be 'the signature beach of West Maui'. Easy access for swimming, snorkeling and water sports are all right here!
Our condo is furnished with a fully accessorized kitchen, washer/dryer in unit, king size bed, living room, indoor dining area and outdoor sunning and dining and on our lanai with perfect 82 degree evenings!
24-hour front desk service is also provided by The Whaler along with a community fitness gym including sauna, outdoor BBQ area and swimming pool with Jacuzzi (towel service is also provided).
Whaler's Village is conveniently located on the adjoining property and provides a variety of excellent restaurants and shopping facilities.

The location couldn’t have been better!
Enjoyed our stay! Great Location.
Room was not quite what we expected at the Whaler! We have stayed at the Whaler 18 previous trips & this room was the worst! Along with the filthy carpet, the bathrooms had peeling wallpaper & although kitchen had some updated appliances, the counter tops & floor were stained & gross. 1st morning we found out the coffee maker didn’t work. Messaged owner & had new one 14 days later! Would not recommend!! P.S. need extra pool towels to soak up water from leaking shower doors!
The location of the property is bar none the best on the island. Each unit at The Whaler is individually owned and therefore each unit varies substantially in what a renter can expect. Steve openly lists his property as discounted in compared to others in the resort. There is a reason for this and manage your expectations as a renter accordingly. Highly functional with all appliances and amenities, amazing ground floor location however furnishings and condition of unit are well worn.

This one bed, two bath condo is in an ideal location for families with children and those without. It is located on the ground floor of The Whaler on Ka'anapali Beach which is in the middle of all the action with close proximity to restaurants and activities. Highly recommend.
We love The Whaler, and especially love the ground floor units. Our two young children can access the lawn, pool and ocean in just a few steps. The beds were very comfortable, and there was plenty of space for all four of us. We can't wait to return!
The Whaler Resort and grounds were amazing. Extremely well maintained and managed. The location is conveniently right beside Whalers Village which we walked too often. The beach was perfect. The pool was lovely and well maintained. We travelled in June and did not have an issue ever getting a chair at the pool. Or a chair to take to the beach. The unit was good and worked well for us- a family of 3 w a 7 year old. Its location on the ground floor was so convenient and we enjoyed sitting on the patio which was shaded all day. The interior of the unit is dated, but the overall value of it was worth it. It is clean and neat and well stocked with the basics. The host Steven always answers messages in a timely manner and was very helpful.
We enjoyed the patio immensely with the garden and ocean views at ground level. Our only criticism of the property is that it is ready for a carpet refresh.
We really enjoyed our stay at the Whaler. The location of the unit made it easy to hit the beach and pool. Restaurants and shops were in walking distance. The condo is very comfortable. It was bigger than expected and having two full baths was nice. We hope we can come back soon.
