Stunning views, clean and comfortable, great location, well stocked kitchen, beach chairs and towels provided. Friendly owners provided helpful information to make our vacation perfect! Would definitely stay there again!

Host was friendly and communicative. The condo was as expected. It was comfortable and it had all of the amenities we needed.

Great balcony right on the water. Hearing the ocean right in your back yard. Photos provided in advertisement doesn’t do it justice. So much larger and beautiful in person, even at night with the moon shining on the water.

This property is perfectly located. It's on the 4th floor overlooking a cove where you can see 3 or more turtles at any given moment. It's right next door to The Beach House restaurant, which is wonderful for dinner or Happy Hour (that includes live entertainment). It's also close to a beach which is great for launching a snorkel and close to shopping and restaurants. The host is incredibly helpful with information and instructions, and she checks in by email to make sure you're doing OK. It has great technology (flat screen TVs in the living room and bedroom plus high-speed internet), a well-stocked kitchen, and a perfect lawn for watching the sunset. We will certainly book this unit again!

Great location in Poipu-saw turtles right outside our condo every day. Condo was very clean, bed was comfortable and kitchen was stocked with everything we could ask for. The beach chairs, beach towels, umbrella and cooler were an added bonus. A great place for a quiet, relaxing vacation in Kauai!

View from our Lanai. Beautiful view and the sea turtles there are amazing. You can snorkel there as we did and they are not afraid of you. It’s a rocky entrance into the water, but worth the effort to see the turtles

Everything worked well, the sunrise was stunning, the locale is best on the Island, parking was a breeze, the best snorkeling beach was steps away and the Owner communication was ahead of any question we might have had.

We had a lovely week at Nancy’s wonderful condo. Location was great. 3 minutes away from many fantastic restaurants and shops. Perfect ocean view from the lanai. She was very responsive to any questions we had.

We had an amazing time in Kauai. The condo fit our needs perfectly and we would recommend it to others. We would definitely book here again. We had beautiful sunrises daily and other great views as well. Nancy was a pleasure to work with on the rental.

This place was a perfect spot for our 5th Wedding Anniversary. Every morning eating breakfast on the Lanai, listening to the waves at night. This condo was in a quiet spot with access to shopping, restaurants, and multiple beaches. We often sat down with crowd in front of the condo building watching the surfers and seeing the sun set. We had 0 problems during our stay and can’t wait to come back and stay again.

Great location on the water with a beach a short walk away. Unit is well furnished and was wonderful for a weeks stay with my wife.

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay at this Kauai condo! Lots of natural light and we loved sitting on the balcany watching turtles swim around in the cove. My husband did a bit of snorkeling around the property as well! Everything was comfy and the location was great! We loved eating at the adjacent Beach House and watching the sunset. Would love to come back!!

We loved our stay! The balcony view is stunning, the space is large with lots of natural light, and it is a great location, with a quick walk to the beach. We are so glad we picked a place with A/C. The host was quick to respond to our questions an accommodating. We would stay here again!

Everything was clean and comfy. We loved the view and the recliners in the living room were so nice to sit and watch the water. Nancy was great at responding quickly to our questions. Will definitely be coming back!

Where do I start? From the moment we booked with Nancy (the owner), we felt welcomed! She contacted me and made sure everything went smoothly. This is our second time staying in this particular condominium property. The first time, we stayed on the opposite end, penthouse corner overlooking the surfers and restaurant. It was an incredible view, but way too loud (between the people from the restaurant and the loud pounding surf). Nancy’s unit overlooks the serene blue ocean with mountain views as well…both breathtaking! The bedroom is in the back, so you hear the waves, but it’s a gentle soothing sound with the trade winds cooling us off at night! No need for air conditioning (but it’s available if needed). The condominium is perfectly located with great shopping and restaurants nearby. There is a beach you just walk to and the blow hole is right around the corner! We enjoyed golfing three times at a beautiful course, hiked twice on opposite ends of the island, and loved each morning’s sunrise and sunset! The condo is well equipped with everything you need, including beach chairs and large beach towels. One of our favorite things was sitting on the lanai each day, sipping coffee and watching the many sea turtles right from our balcony! We also enjoyed a spectacular show of whales breaching each day! We loved our stay so much; we can’t wait to book this exact place again soon! Thank you for sharing your beautiful and magical home with us, Nancy and Doug!

My previous stays at Kuhio Shores were wonderful, but this unit fell short of expectations. The property description was misleading in multiple ways: Bedroom-We did not see or hear the ocean from the bedroom as advertised; it is close to parking lot and near a busy restaurant, not the "quiet location" advertised; not a "master" bedroom nor "retreat", bathroom across the hall; blankets appear worn; no extra sheets. (FYI, small coin laundry room closes at 9 p.m.) Amenities- Sparse and low quality "starter basics” (e.g., very diluted hand soap, very thin toilet paper; “spices provided” were only salt and pepper, no aluminum foil) When we requested clean sheets, our needs were not met. Overall, the experience did not align with the property description nor meet the "luxury" standard advertised. In addition, the owner sent an unsolicited email (on checkout day) and here is an excerpt: “If you feel a 5-Star review is not appropriate, instead of writing a review, … Please give me the opportunity to accommodate you…. Again, thank you for not writing a review.” There were additional messages telling us it is best not to write a review. I provided the full email to VRBO.

The location of our stay was perfectly situated to walk or drive short distances to everywhere we wanted to enjoy on the south/west areas of the island. Our host offered perfect recommendations and communicated exceptionally well. We would definitely stay again if back in the Poipu and Kōloa area. Fantastic hosts and beautiful area!!!

We had a very enjoyable 7 day stay in this great condo with gorgeous ocean views. This condo was comfortable, well equipped, quiet and perfect for a couple celebrating their Anniversary, The ideal location is close to restaurants, shopping, beaches and other activities. Nancy is an outstanding hostess who is easily available for any help you might need. We especially appreciated her restaurant suggestions. W look forward to returning some day. Thank you, Nancy. My husband and I stayed 5 nights in this well appointed condo. The location was fabulous, and the favorite thing was being able to sit on the lanai and turtle watch in the small cove. Easy access from the airport and other main attractions. Highly recommend!

Beautiful place overlooking the an inlet of the ocean. Everything was great! I like the smaller beach and grassy area to hang out on with a very small crowd. It’s close to poipu beach but, in my opinion they’re way too crowded. The only thing I would add to it is some kind of screen, that still allows you to see through, out on the deck/patio so you can drink your morning coffee without it being to hot. The sun rises on this side and it isn’t cool enough To sit until late afternoon.

The condo was well appointed and clean. The view is a show stopper and I couldn't get enough of turtle watching. We'll be back!

Came to the island for a wedding and the condo was a GREAT place to relax. We didn’t need anything during our stay but Nancy was very quick to answer my questions before. Beautiful home close to everything, but still far enough to enjoy peace and quiet. We will definitely stay here again!

The location was great - right next to the Beach House restaurant and Lawai Beach- our favorite spot to snorkel. We enjoyed seeing the sunrise in the morning and joining the other folks on the lawn for sunset. The beach chairs and cooler were great. The condo had everything we needed. The bed was a bit soft but we slept fine. The breeze from the windows was lovely but having AC was nice at night. Would definitely stay again

The condo was perfect for 2, the kitchen has everything we needed plus more than I have at home! Bed was very comfortable and recliner chairs were great for watching movies on the TV. We especially enjoyed sitting on the balcony in the morning for breakfast and in the evening watching the parrots fly in to roost in the palm trees. And communication with Nancy was so easy. Her hospitality made our anniversary trip wonderful.

This is a beautiful property. Well located the Poipu beach area. Able to walk easily to restaurants. Nancy was a pleasure to work with.

The condo was supplied with everything we needed to enjoy our Kauai vacation. Loved the beautiful ocean view. We had no issues whatsoever with the condo. The beach chairs were nice to have. Plenty of dresser storage and lots of hangers provided for our clothes. Location was great. Host contacted us shortly after booking and provided us with information and advice/recommendations for things to do. Very helpful.

We enjoyed our quiet, relaxing stay in Poipu/Koloa. Everything here was in good working order and we had no issues that necessitated contacting the owners. In our opinion this is not an ocean front property but more so an ocean view. The view was still very pretty overlooking a small bay and also had nice mountain views. In our opinion "ocean front" would mean just that, facing the ocean. Getting your laundry done can be a challenge as you're competing with more than a dozen units for one washer and dryer per floor. There's just no way to police that (patrons leaving their laundry in the machines well after a load is done). This may have been an oversight on our part as we would not have rented without laundry in the unit itself. Lastly, WiFi drops were an inconvenience, simply needing a reboot to catch the signal so not a major issue. With all of that said we still rate the unit 5 Stars as the location is wonderful, in a quiet community with everything one would need nearby. If this unit had laundry internally and not a community laundry we would definitely look to rent again (we stayed a month). Kind regards to the owners Doug and Nancy. Mahalo for your hospitality.

Beautiful view. Convenient location, good snorkling next door, a short drive to shopping (could even walk to shopping center), great restaurant next door with amazing sunset views. Host made sure that everything was explained and labeled.

We can’t say enough about how lovely and well maintained this condo is. We have stayed in many VRBO properties and this one rates a10+. The pictures depict the condo perfectly. The A/C was great as well. Didn’t use during the day as it wasn’t necessary in February. Used at night only because we like to sleep in cooler temperatures. Well stocked kitchen and condo. Being able to watch tv is important to us, especially in the bedroom which we were able to do. The location is fantastic. Grocery stores and shopping within 6-7 minute drive. The Beach House restaurant is RIGHT NEXT DOOR. Fantastic sunsets at restaurant. We walked there for dinner. Beaches close by- Poipu beach where we saw 8 turtles one morning AND 3 monk seals!! Fantastic stay. Would definitely stay here again.
