Oceanfront condo off the beaten path! MIN 30 DAYS

Nice condo RIGHT on the beach. Beautiful sunrises. You can drive north west around the island 20-30 minutes to see the sunset. The condo beach is very safe, small waves and not a lot of rocks. The condo is a bit outdated, but still nice. The kitchen is small, but had all we needed for cooking (except basic ingredients). There is a good amount of beach gear, including a few snorkels. The location is prime, only 10 minutes from the PCC. Lots of food trucks nearby. You are right on the road, so it's really easy to get going to your destination, but the road noise did bother me, even with earplugs. It technically has a bedroom, but there's NO door. The bed is around the corner from the living room, so at least you can't see the TV from the bed. I had trouble finding the box with the elevator key fob, but that's probably on me. Overall a good stay and I recommend it.

We stayed here when we dropped our daughter off at school. It was conveniently located to campus and the north shore. Very laid back and not overly crowded. The building and property have great security and I felt safe and comfortable. There was a bit of construction noise during the day but I never really noticed it since we were out having fun and we were aware of the construction when we booked. My favorite days were the ones spent on the beach in front of our balcony.

Had a little trouble getting in when there was no fob in lock box but we were able to get security to help us out. location was excellent. Right on the beach. could use some updates , but i'm sure thats a never ending thing with beach front properties and the salt air. host was very nice and accommodating. Great job with accuracy of description and check in process. As stated in other reviews, there is a tremendous amount of road noise. Construction was noisy, but expected. A box fan would be nice. Beautiful views and no problem with homeless people. Great location out of Honolulu area!

Amaizing place, and view, highly recommended. The inconvenience is the noise from the street, and you will feel in the bed that is kind of no window, because the one existing the old style is a joke!

Very nice, clean place with a beautiful view. Ocean breezes are awesome - didn’t need to use the air conditioning. The kitchen is well stocked. There is traffic noise in the back bedroom but get some earplugs or sleep in the front on the futon and enjoy the ocean waves. Close to Polynesian Cultural Centre and Kualoa Ranch.

Great place, location. Host was there for anything that I needed. Would go back again.

Beautiful location, a little noisy at night with the road nearby. Very helpful owners. Magnificent beach. Incredible view.

Well stocked, extremely clean place with a beautiful unobscured view of the ocean. We watched the sunrise each morning from the balcony. We were provided everything we would need for the beach, including big towels, a soft-sided cooler, beach toys, two beach chairs, and bamboo mats for the sand (the umbrella was unfortunately broken). Our complaint was the construction at the building. The property manager discloses this in their listing, but having booked 4 months prior, this was not something we knew at the time of booking. As well, the disclosure understates how loud and disruptive an experience this is. The sound was deafening, and the unit was uninhabitable during the day. Demolition crews jackhammered through the concrete balcony next to us, the whole unit shook with the vibrations. We had to flee the unit between 9 am and 5 pm. We would have appreciated a letter or even a knock from the building management to let us know in advance so we could make plans to be away. If you are planning to book this unit while the listing indicates ongoing construction please be aware that daytime use of the unit may not be possible.

Enjoyed the Ocean front, but the road noise in the bedroom was terrible so I slept on the futon in the living room. There was no linens provided for the futon so had to use pillows and a sheet from the bedroom. Also construction in the condos next door very disturbing. All in all very disappointing.

The location and view are outstanding. Sunrise right outside window. Big sea turtle beached for an hour one evening. Uncrowded beach. Daytime construction outside nearby units wasn't too loud. Bedroom is adjacent to roadway so expect some road noise. Tall people won't fit in bed. Futon adjacent to ocean so better sleeping option but very firm. Condo designed to channel ocean breezes which were abundant. Designed for air flow condo not insulated so A/C wasn't great option. 1 of 2 elevators out of order but wasn't crowded so never had much wait. This complex is heavily used for vacation rentals.

Clean, cute, and quiet. This was the perfect spot for a couple or small family to get away from the hustle and bustle and just slow down and enjoy. The location makes it a great jumping off point to explore the island and the amazing beaches of the North Shore. It would be tricky to stay here without vehicle access, but if you have a car everything is just minutes away. The check in process was simple and the host provides a lovely summary of the local amenities for you. The apartment is older but clean and well maintained with everything you need. The well appointed kitchen made it simple to cook great meals as I have celiac and need to cook almost everything from scratch. The host was friendly and very responsive. The very small cons of this location are the road noise due to the bedroom's proximity to the road, and the local roosters (you are going to experience roosters anywhere outside of Honolulu, so don't let this deter you). If you are a light sleeper I would suggest you plan ahead and bring a set of comfy earplugs. It is a perfect spot for a couple or a family with no more than two kiddos under the age of 12 or so because there isn't much privacy between the rooms. Overall, we absolutely loved this spot and had a fantastic experience from start to finish.

This is an old building that is currently under much needed repair . Lots of construction and highway noise, so it was not a relaxing stay. We found other accommodations and checked out a day early. The bed is located right inside the door closest to the highway, the louvered windows do not provide any sound barrier. The positive points were that unit was very clean and the beach is amazing. I was disappointed to discover that the patio door lock was broken and there was no working smoke detector in the unit.

My family (with two kids) stayed 4 nights and found that it was the perfect location with a great family atmosphere. We enjoyed the our mornings on the beach and even saw saw turtles and a seal, and found the location was perfect for our day trips and we drove to all points of the island. The had a couple of meals from the food trucks that was a short walk down the road.

We loved the laid-back feeling of the area. The beach was awesome and not crowded. We were also able to watch the turtles swimming from the lanai!

Nothing beats the location of this unit! We had the most incredible time and loved every second of our stay. We couldn’t have been any happier with the unit and the very responsive host.

Construction and parking were less than expected.

Wow wow wow… what a gem! This was my first VRBO experience and we loved it! In my opinion better than any hotel on Waikiki ! This area made us fall in love with Oahu ! It’s truly truly a hidden gem! Thank you for the wonderful experience we will be back…. And With friends !!! Mahalo !

Adorable condo right on the beach! Super comfy bed, pillows, fluffy towels and extra beach gear provided. Bedroom is on the Hwy side of building and a bit noisy, so would recommend some earplugs if you’re a light sleeper. But the view and being THISCLOSE to the water was totally worth it! Would stay here again!!

Condo was clean and was well stocked with essentials. Had a windy few days and being an older condo it is not well sealed and very noisy with the wind whistling through cracks around the air conditioner hose. The bedroom is very small and road noise was an issue.
