Tutu's Getaway Owned and Operated by Local Kauai Resident

The house was wonderfully furnished and well stocked with toiletries. The kitchen had everything that we needed to make a full meal. It was a great location for our adventures into Hanalei and the Hanakāpī‘Ai Beach hike.

Our family of 6, two adults and 4 teenagers had a wonderful experience staying here! The layout and space was perfect! Place was extremely clean and had all the amenities you could need, to include beach stuff (nice chairs, boogie boards, surf board, coolers). The community pool and hot tub area was great too (clean bathrooms on site). We highly recommend this place and would stay there again!

Great place for our stay. 5 stars. One thing to keep in mind is that you can't really fit two cars in the garage, but there is another parking spot outside.

Everything was great! It was clean and spacious and we enjoyed the extra amenities like beach chairs, shop vac to clean out our van and bikes.

We had a fantastic vacation at Tutu's Getaway with our family. The property was perfect for us, the condo was spacious and had everything we needed in the kitchen and bathrooms, especially the short walk to the gorgeous pool. The location was what we were looking for being just a short drive away from Hanalei Bay, we couldn't have asked for anything more. We had on incident of locking the key inside the house and the host came over quickly to let us back in. We would definitely stay here again if we brought the same amount of family members, or friends! Thank you for having us!

Very clean, lots of kitchen tools and appliances for cooking, a wealth of beach/pool accessories and toys. The owner graciously allowed us to store our luggage for a few hours on the morning of our checkout, which is as appreciated. We all enjoyed staying here.

The residence was immaculate, as was the location. All amenities were included: beach chairs, boogie boards, for daily excursions. Lovely place to stay.

Place was nice. Good location. My complaints are, got in trouble for smoking a cigarette on patio. Ive always prided myself about being respectful and i read all the rules of the house and they had A LOT of them mind you, do not turn house below 75 degrees, ect ect ect ect ect lol but nothing about smoking.

Everything was great about our stay in Kauai...the grounds and surrounding area of the condo is just stunning. The beds were great. The condo had everything we needed. The only thing we would comment negatively on is the road noise....but everything else was top notch. Would definitely stay again!!!

We loved our stay! Kids had lots of fun in the pool! The place was very clean and spacious. The kids side was very quiet, which was great, and the garbage and recycling was right behind the house for super easy access. If I could change anything, I'd ask for cotton sheets and the polyester was weird for us, and that the kitchen be stocked better. We had to run the dishwasher more often than we'd like because there was basically only one set of everything. Not a great kitchen if you cook a lot. Otherwise, it was a great place to crash and everyone slept well! The ceiling fans were very much appreciated! Thank you for a great stay!

The property was better than in the pictures. Location was perfect. The house felt like home. The owners were super accommodating and communicative. Stayed there for 9 nights with 4 adult kids (ages 18-26) and felts great that we could spread out, cook the occasional meal in the house and do laundry. Can’t wait to be in Kauai again.

Such a cute place. We would rent here again. A must stay to walk near along the golf course, lounge in the pool or just stay in the house to relax.

Our family of six stayed here for a week, wish we could have stayed longer. The condo had everything we needed, the beds were comfy and had lots of beach gear. Boogie boards, chairs and cooler. The vacuum in the garage was super useful to have. The sand in our car got to be a bit much. We love this community has a great pool and is nice and quiet.

Cockroach infestation. Didn’t have access to home for 3 hours while exterminator sprayed but still had cockroaches after spraying. Home needs repairs- big gapping hole in kitchen. Shower and sink upstairs very slow draining. Lanai is on loud busy road. We have stayed in this complex before and it was beautiful. I do not recommend this unit to anyone.

We have stayed at nihilani many times, at four different vacation rentals with the same floor plan. I wouldn't put this rental at the top of our list nor would I put it at the bottom.

Place was as advertised. Good location, plenty of space for 6. If you’re renting a large SUV, it’s a tight fit maneuvering into the garage. Beach stuff and lots of towels were nice. Would recommend staying here.

Highly recommend this rental. The place was huge, lots of room to hang out inside or have coffee on the patio in the morning and do some people watching. It has everything you need in the kitchen and everywhere else. The neighborhood is quiet, clean, and safe. We loved taking walks in the area. The grocery store is just a few minutes drive away as well as restaurants. Hope to be back some day!

We had a great stay with my family. The condo was spacious, clean, comfortable beds, and had bikes, boogey boards, a cooler, and beach chairs to use which served us great. The condo is in a great location in Princeville for all north shore activities and the association pool and hot tub are gorgeous. This is a great way to stay on the north shore.

We stayed here for 4 nights in May 2024. The condo was beautifully furnished, clean, and comfortable. We liked the condo complex and the area. My family and I had a wonderful vacation here and would like to stay here again in the future. Thank you for letting us rent your condo.

It was just a great place to stay! The parking is a little tight for a Jeep Gladiator but we were still able to get in the garage. :) We had a few bugs in the kitchen area, not surprising for Kauai, but Cathy was quick to help remedy the situation. Loved all the beach gear, laundry room, half bath downstairs, and just that it was homey and comfy.

Tutu's getaway was very perfect for our family. We stayed at Kauai Beach villas as well and everything about the townhouse and princeville was by far our favorite place. We all wanted to go back and stay at tutu's. Our future Kauai visits we will be staying here the whole time. The owners were VERY helpful and the communication was perfect. Very nice people to talk too! Perfect in every way!!!!

This was a perfect vacation home for our family of six. It was very clean and spacious with many amenities. It is located in a beautiful area close to beaches, grocery store, and beautiful Hanalei with restaurants and shopping. We used the grill at the pool and prepared many meals in the well equipped kitchen. It was great to have a cooler, ice packs, chairs, snorkel gear, and boogie boards all available for those many beach days. It is simply a great home, in a great location, on a beautiful island.

This condo and entire complex is well kept and beautiful. We had a very comfortable stay. I would definitely stay here again and will recommend it for friends and family. Close to golfing and really nice pool and barbecue area.
