Recently upgraded and beautifully furnished throughout, this spacious and private five-bedroom home features an open floor plan with an upscale kitchen, counter-height seating, dining area, dedicated workspace, and a living room with 55” Smart TV.
Fully appointed modern kitchen with appliances, including stove, oven, refrigerator, dishwasher, and microwave. Bedrooms are comfortably furnished with fresh crisp new linens, pillows, and bed coverings. the master bedroom features a private en-suite bathroom with a walk-in shower and garden tub, as well as a designated workspace perfect for traveling students or professionals.
The main level contains the master bedroom, Hibiscus room, and the Surfboard room while the lower level features the Jellyfish room and the Yellow Tang room. A crib, high chair, and safety gates are available upon request for those traveling with small children.
Spacious living room includes a comfy sofa, cozy electric fireplace, laundry area, and free high-speed WiFi. Other amenities include a backyard, hammock, patio area BBQ grill, gated entry, onsite parking, and keyless access.
*Please note that there is a long term tenant staying in the garage guest house, the only shared space is the driveway and there is a private entrance to their unit.

We ran into a couple problems in the first couple days and messaged the host. He was extremely responsive and our water issue was IMMEDIATELY addressed. We had plenty of room for all 8 of us. The kitchen was fantastic, we did prepare a couple meals during our stay and all necessary utensils were available. The beds were extremely comfortable. We awoke in the morning ready for the next days adventures. I would definitely return to this home if we were traveling as a group again.
Great stay close to Hilo and Volcano National Park. The house fit two families comfortably, with plenty of space for kids and teens. Everything was clean, well stocked, and easy to settle into. The host communicated quickly and clearly, which made things smooth. Perfect for a short stay and definitely recommend.
10 of us stayed July 15-22, 2025. Two families plus an extra niece and my daughter's boyfriend. There was plenty of space to spread out or come together. The beds were all very comfortable and the kitchen was well stocked with any pan or skillet you need. The gated entrance added to the peace of the house. The house looks just like the pictures. We wanted a place out of town but not isolated, and boy did we find it! This place is a hidden gem tucked away in a quiet community where you can sit outside and enjoy the sounds of nature.
We were a small university field biology course. Good location for us. This is a beautiful property! My only complaint was that the outside garbage from the previous stay was not disposed of. No place to put our garbage.
We had an absolutely wonderful stay at Spacious & Modern Pāhoa Retreat Near Kehena Beach! Our group ranged in age from 87 to 96, with one 44-year-old, and this home was perfect for everyone. While it has two levels, the layout was spacious and beautifully designed, making it comfortable and easy to navigate.The colors and design made everyone feel very special—like it was a real treat to be there. The bathrooms were large and well-appointed, and the linens were soft and high-quality, adding to the overall comfort. The beds were all very comfortable. The kitchen was well-stocked, and the home had everything we could have wanted to make our stay enjoyable.We had the opportunity to meet the owner of the home while we were there and the kindness that was shown to our group is enough to make me be a cheerleader for this property. Also, the management company was super responsive and very helpful! The peaceful location was ideal, offering a quiet retreat while still being close to all local attractions. They were in the process of finishing an outdoor kitchen and a whole outdoor area, which will be amazing once completed. If we ever get the chance to return to the Big Island, we would love to stay here again!This is a beautiful property and we made forever memories there. Thankful that we chose this place!
