We love this location close to the beach. Very quiet and beautiful views.
The condo was beautiful...very well appointed and in a terrific location. The grounds and facilities were wonderful. Everything was spotless and well maintained. We'd love to come back again.
The Mauna Lani properties are a great area to stay, nice restaurants, beautiful view and grounds. The Terrace area in particular is home to a more mature group. The updated pool/hottub had several covered areas and were really well done. Our particular unit was very dated though; the couches needed to go, not comfortable. The dryer could barely dry the clothes, the towels would take at least 3 hours to dry. And those towels were from the ABC store, which also bothered me; at least get the nicer towels from Costco for goodness sake. Finally, the bathroom showers had a very unusual set up. If I recall others have noted the same concerns, and they still exist. It's time for an update.
The original condo we expected had a problem with air conditioning, so Kona offered us a substitute. We didn’t know what to expect, but it was absolutely beautiful. There were ample beach items, absolutely lovely furnishings, an outdoor bar area and room for family members staying at three additional condos at Mauna Lani Estates to enjoy a meal on the outdoor patio Together. The furnishings were lovely and beds were comfortable. We would definitely choose to stay there again.
It was a wonderful experience. The unit was lovely, very clean, well-kept and comfortable. The view is fantastic! Excellent location in walking distance to the Mauna Lani beach and the hotel. We will be returning next year!
This is our fifth time back to these condos. First time for this one specifically. Yes, the decor is somewhat dated in many of these condos, but honestly it is just about enjoying a relaxing and super functional condo close to so many potential activities. Would absolutely be back! Thank you !
Property was not updated. Faucet in master bedroom leaked. Shower did not have enough pressure. For my purpose it was great.
Beautiful property, great location. Be aware that the condo is designed for extremely tall people. You will need to take advantage of a step stool if you are not really tall, including reaching the refrigerator shelves, the bed in master bedroom, etc
Property was decorated to give you the Hawaiian feel inside as well as you look at the outside. One minor issue resolved right away. Short walk to a nice beach with chairs and cabana available to people who stayed at Mauna Lani Terrace.
I highly recommend this property. I was a little nervous going in with a couple of the past reviews…however we did not see a single ant while there nor did I feel like furniture was worn. We felt this was an idyllic place to stay for our week in Hawaii. The pool was mostly quiet (I had the pool to myself for my morning lap swims), loved walking to the beach club for a cabana and then some lunch, and then loooved the short walk over to the beautiful Mauna Lani resort. We went there for drinks, dinner, etc. The grounds are all gorgeous. The lanai has the most beautiful view and perfect for watching the sunset. Fav spots close by: Lava Lava Beach Club, Canoe House, Kukio Beach.
