Walk to the Beach Mauna Lani Villa w/ Outdoor Kitchen: Pool, Hot Tub & Gym

The stay here was nice. The location is perfect. You are close to the FoodLand and the small shop area. The grounds, golf course and pool are beautiful. The beds are a little low to the ground and okay, not very luxurious. We loved having two bathrooms. It was nice to have one bathroom right in the master bedroom and one for the kids to share. The dishwasher could definitely be replaced along with a few of the beach accessories! We had trouble getting in upon arrival and having what we needed right off the bat, but they eventually helped us and we could get in. I would stay here again. Hoping that we have a better entry experience, but feel like it's not worth giving a bad review. The WiFI was very spotty for us. The best beaches are right up the street like Hapuna and MaunaKea! About a 8-10 minute drive, so that was nice. The lava tube walk down to the Mauna Lani Beach is really nice and pretty. It took about 15 min to get down there. That beach is small and has a little bit courser sand than Hapuna. I wouldn't really say it was a beach that we'd spend all day at, but it was a good morning walk, or an evening stroll to go to. It was a good home away from home! And a nice place all in all.

Location was outstanding . Pool very nice. Property needs update. From furniture to small appliances, we had issues. No hot water first 2 nights. Bbq Running out of propane . Maybe small things by themself, but together they added up.

Nice place to book for a family of 6. Pool is neat and clean. Walking to the beach is convenient. I’d get a wagon next time. Management is quick in their response to questions/issues we had. Note for next renter the garage will not fit large capacity SUVs. Will book again on next Hawaii adventures.

My wife and I have stayed in Palm Villas many times though not in this particular unit. Palm Villas is a great location: a short drive to the beach and even shorter drive to the supermarket and shops. It is possible to walk to the beach, as suggested in the listing, but it’s a long walk especially with beach paraphernalia. This unit feels like it may be new to the rental market. The appliances are new, and work well, but there were some glitches to be ironed out. For example, the washer/dryer barely fits in the allotted space. The beds are comfortable enough but not the luxe mattresses we’ve enjoyed in other units. I imagine these rough edges will be fixed before too long. By the time you stay here, it will probably be perfect!

More lighting is needed outside and Condo needs a good deep cleaning. Overall was an enjoyable stay. Thank You.

Overall we were extremely happy with our 10 night stay and would definitely stay here again. The main bed was the most comfortable rental bed I have ever slept on. The guest bed was a bit uneven but manageable and we didn't use the twin beds but they seemed like they would be fine for kids. The hosts were very fast and responsive with questions. Everything was as pictured and we had everything needed during our stay and the property is so quiet, it was amazing. The pool and fitness center just behind the building were very nice and clean and barely used by others during our stay. We did not use the actual sports fitness club or pool. Our main reason for always staying in Mauna Lani is to have access to the private beach club, having the key card so you can park at the beach is definitely worth it.

The space is great for a family. Kitchen has everything you need and a great view of the golf course. We frequented the pool and used the outdoor grill (nice feature)! Would stay again.

We were so very grateful we chose this condo. It’s close to the ‘best’ beaches and far enough away from Kona. The grounds are beautiful and the pool /hot tub is very nice. Vacasa manages this property and they were communicative and prompt to respond.

This was a perfect condo for our family for the week we were on the Big Island. We had access to an amazing private beach that was a 5 minute drive away with great snorkeling and was never overcrowded. There is a restaurant right off the beach where we had lunch a few times and had great food. There were beach towels provided that were nice quality - I am kind of picky and had brought my own but we used theirs! There is A LOT of beach gear too - snorkel gear, beach chairs, rafts, etc. I highly recommend walking to the beach at least once through the ponds. Beautiful views and is only about 20 minutes. We had planned a couple of longer days at the beach and drove on those days jus so we didn't have to walk after being hot and tired. We used the pool once - can't use speakers at either the pool or the beach at Mauna Lani - only headphones. The pool was very nice and just a very short walk from the condo. The view from the Lanai was amazing - having the market and shops near us were great. Can't say enough about it. We would recommend a stay here again!

Getting in and out matters. Easy to find codes that are correct and clear. Pedestrian gate is not far entry. We called support for clarity 5 times in first two days and went thru interrogation each time. No problem for tech-savvy youngsters but four 75 year old guys were easily stumped by confusing and not quite complete instructions. (example: press 1 or pound” With those problems were solved, the property was great By the 3re day they were minor. Very good stay!

This condo is nicely situated with about a 20 minute scenic walk to the beach across a lava field and fish ponds. The patio looks out at the golf course and has a great BBQ. Accommodations were excellent with comfortable beds, spices, and more than enough detergent/soap. One negative was that the dishwasher did not clean the dishes adequately, so we found some dishes with food residue in the cabinet and hand washed our dirty dishes for the week. Another thing to note is that the master bathroom does not have a door to separating the shower, so one has to close the door to the bedroom if privacy is desired. Finally, the living room smoke detector battery, about 15 feet above the ground, decided to start chirping in the middle of the night one day. We called Vacasa, but did not have anyone show up until mid day. It should be noted that we received fair compensation for this inconvenience and the overall stay was excellent!

Nice private unit at end of complex, very safe, garage held great equipment for the beach for everyone; loved the beautiful walk to the private beach and ocean access. Kitchen great size for cooking local fish and produce. Snorkeling amazing, one of the best beaches!

We loved our stay! It was a great location, quiet resort, a nice walk to the beach, responsive owners, easy drive to some great beaches. Would stay there again!

Everything was terrific except one thing: from the moment we arrived the AC didn't work. Folks were very responsive and nice but the fix was apparently a big deal and wasn't finished (or even started) during our stay. Apparently verifying that the AC works is on the inspection checklist before each guest arrives so unfortunately I do think the ball was dropped.

This top floor condo has an amazing location and unobstructed views of the golf course. Management team was responsive and addressed our requests timely. Overall, we had a nice stay.
