Island comfort meets modern elegance at Fairways 801, a quiet 2-bedroom end-unit townhome for five in gated Mauna Lani Resort. Relax on the private golf-view lanai with Viking grill, enjoy sunsets, swim at the resort pool, or snorkel at the private Beach Club. Inside: bright open living, a holiday-chef kitchen, king suite, flexible twin/king guest room, central A/C and keyless entry. Groceries, dining, shopping and championship golf are nearby.
The space
Bright, open living spaces, soaring ceilings and natural light set an easy island rhythm. The holiday-chef kitchen has granite counters, double ovens, full-size appliances, modern kitchenware and a Nespresso machine for your morning Kona coffee. The covered lanai overlooks the golf course and features a Viking grill, granite prep area, dining and lounge seating for coffee, meals and sunsets.
The king suite has a private balcony and ensuite with dual vanities, jetted tub and walk-in shower. Main-level twins convert to a king with notice and the applicable fee; primary bathroom with walk-in shower; a sofa sleeper accommodates the fifth guest.
Private Beach Club access is included. The Fairways pool, hot tub, wading area, waterfall, pergolas and fitness centre are about a two-minute walk away.
Also included: central A/C, high-speed internet/Wi-Fi, keyless entry, laundry, free parking, concierge assistance, linens and beach gear—wagon, chairs, umbrella, cooler and toys. A recent guest praised the warm island design, thoughtful details, exceptionally well-equipped kitchen and
peaceful yet convenient location, saying the home made their Big Island stay unforgettable.
Guests have private use of the townhome and lanai. Shared Fairways facilities and Beach Club access are available to registered guests. Arrival instructions and a personal keyless-entry code are sent after booking documents are complete.
Professionally managed by Kona Coast Vacations. Guests must accept rental policies and community rules before arrival. Minimum stays vary seasonally. No smoking or pets; not ADA compliant. Optional travel insurance is available. In tropical Hawaiʻi, occasional geckos or insects may enter when doors or windows are open. The home is cleaned and inspected before every arrival.

The unit is immaculate and very comfortable. Kitchen is well appointed and the furnishings make for a very nice stay. Very easy check-in process and instructions are very clear and easy. Highly recommended.
We had a great stay. Clean and as advertised. Only a few issues popped up. On the day of arrival, we were notified that there would be indoor pest management during our stay. I immediately emailed back as we do not want anything sprayed in the residence during our visit for human health reasons. At first they were very disagreeable and basically said: tough luck, it was our contract. Eventually, they reconsidered and were able to reschedule the pest treatment to a different day after our visit. Our only other issue was the barbecue had no propane and could not be used until the following day when they were able to fill it. Also, oddly the refrigerator does not have an icemaker and only one nonfunctional tray in the freezer. We did ultimately buy a bag of ice, and the property manager had an ice tray, just one, dropped off when they came to refill the barbecue. The twin beds also seemed oddly narrow. I meant to measure but forgot. They were comfortable though. Regardless, would stay again.
Very nicely decorated condo, central to close coastal access. Kitchen is well equipped- very much appreciated a full gas tank for the BBQ. Second bedroom has two twin beds- needs to be noted- and they are a bit soft. We really enjoyed our time and had everything we could possibly need. Would book it again.
Everything was so perfect!! This property was exactly as described and we enjoyed every moment. Thanks to the owners and the management for all you do to make this such a perfect environment from which to enjoy the beautiful island of Hawaii.
