PLEASE NOTE: The Mauna Kea Hotel will be undergoing renovations starting April 15, 2024. The project will be done in phases and is expected to last into early 2026. Many of the amenities and restaurants will remain open. Please reach out to us for detailed information. The Westin Hapuna Hotel/amenities and golf course will not be affected.
Mauna Kea Resort Amenity Program: Guests have option to add on the Mauna Kea Hotel Gold Membership and Hapuna Hotel amenity access program for additional fees ($260 + tax per day, per house/subject to change). The per day add on is for all days of the stay (It is not available to be opted in for partial time). At least, one week advance notice/registration required to participate in this benefit. Here are the details: Two Beaches – towels, chairs, umbrellas (rental of beach equipment such as snorkels, fins and boogie boards is available for a fee). Two Pools – towels, chairs. Two Golf Courses (at special rates). Seaside Tennis Club (at hotel guest rates). Two Fitness Centers (general access & use of equipment and facilities is included; there is a charge for all classes). Entry Key Cards for access to parking lots and fitness centers at both hotels. Charging Privileges – for ease in using Resort restaurants, retail shops and activities.

Amenities:
Beach Equipment: All of our vacation rentals include beach towels for the maximum occupancy, four beach chairs, two boogie boards, one beach umbrella and one small portable cooler.
Non-Smoking: All of our vacation rentals are Non Smoking (including e-cigarettes). There is no smoking allowed inside or outside of this home.
Hair Dryer: There are hairdryers in each bathroom.
Baby Equipment: Due to safety/sanitation/liability we do not provide baby equipment. Please refer to our Concierge Service page on for local company that rents, delivers and picks up baby equipment.
No Pets: All of our vacation rentals are pet free.
Parking: Parking in the driveway. There is no garage access. Maximum two cars allowed. Oversized or commercial vehicles are not allowed.
Swimming Pool: Private Swimming Pool heated to 82 degrees. Swimming pool is not safety fenced.
Hot Tub: Private Hot Tub. Hot tub is not safety fenced.
Air Conditioning: Yes, central air conditioning throughout.
BBQ: BBQ Grill on the lanai
Washer and Dryer: All of our vacation rentals have a washer and dryer in the unit.
Cable TV: Yes. TV's located in Living Room and bedrooms
WIFI: WIFI included.
Linens: All bed, bath linens and beach towels provided.
Kitchen: Cookware, Drinkware, Utensils, Dishware, Drip Style Coffee Maker, Blender, Rice Cooker.
This stunning home located in the High Bluffs gated community on the Hapuna side of the Mauna Kea resort is the perfect place for a family vacation or group of friends traveling together.

All of our vacation rentals include a basic “start-up supply” of: laundry detergent, garbage bags, kitchen sponge, liquid soap, dishwasher liquid, paper towels, toilet paper, conditioning shampoo, small bar soap, all-purpose cleaner and salt/pepper. Cooking oils, condiments, spices, food storage bags, plastic wrap and aluminum foil are not provided. Once the startup supply runs out, guests can restock at nearby grocery stores.

Very impressive property, a well appointed kitchen (my go-to priority when booking a rental), comfortable furnishings inside and out, and a very sweet local kitty to boot! We stayed here 10 days with my family to celebrate my niece and nephew's graduation, everything was clean, welcoming, and ready to go for our arrival. There was only one day that the surrounding construction (which we were fairly informed of beforehand) got to be a bit much, but it wasn't bad at all otherwise. I wish we'd realized the property didn't offer recycling services ahead of time (it's spotty on the island, apparently), so I felt like we crammed the garbage cans with accumulated recycling more than normal on the last day. None of my nitpicking dampened our experience, though, perfect sunsets, colorful bird visitors, fresh poke or grilled fish prepped in the lux kitchen, and a relaxing float in the pool every night. Would recommend in a heartbeat.
Loved our stay!! The online listing and photos are accurate. It’s a beautiful home and amazing location and view!! Mauna Kea resort pass was well worth it. Hapuna and Mauna Kea beaches are amazing! Westin pools and amenities were great. Property manager communication was excellent and easy. It all exceeded expectations!!
Perfect home away from home for a family vacation. Beautifully appointed and equipped and the private pool is a huge plus. Breathtaking location and view. Could not have asked for anything better for an anniversary trip with family.
Ten days in a beautiful, sootless, spacious home with four master bedrooms and huge open living area and chef level kitchen. Steps away was the in ground heated pool and hot tub. Gates neighborhood on the Mauna Kea resort overlooking one of two golf courses on the property and incredible view of the Pacific Ocean. The sunsets are breathtaking.
Highly recommend! We've lived and stayed in homes all over the Big Island and this is now officially our favorite. Amazing views, very smart layout/floor plan, very tasteful furnishings and art through out. In addition to the unit itself, it's in a great location to experience the best of Hapuna and Mauna Kea so you'd never leave. But if you want to, location provides easy access up to Waimea or down to Kona. Property Management company was also great to work with and made the stay seamless.
Awesome property all-around... Super modern, clean, well-stocked, and beautifully decorated. Definitely worth getting the "amenity" package with access to both resorts. Highly recommend this property!!
This property WOWed everyone in our party. The second we walked in and saw the ocean view just past the pool, we knew it would be a great week. We also LOVED the nighttime view of the stars. Debated whether to get resort access but thought the Mauna Kea beach was amazing (fish on one side and turtles on the other) and totally worth not having to bring down chairs and towels. Really loved this house.
We had a fabulous trip with 8 family members, including 2 grand-children. All 4 bedrooms and bathrooms were spacious and excellent in every way. The large kitchen and dining areas were everything we could have asked for. The pool was a private luxury, along with the Mauna Kea resort access, it was the perfect family trip!
This is a beautiful property with all the conveniences one would expect. It was well equipped, very clean and had gorgeous views to the west. It essentially has 2 identical sleeping wing easy for 2 families to share. We were only 4 adults and had plenty of room. Our family liked this side of the Mauna Kea resort better. The property is well located for access to the beach and the Westin resort. I would highly recommend.
The house was beautiful and very well appointed. The pool was great to cool off in during the day and the heated spa was amazing to lounge in and look at the stars at night with great views of the ocean. Everything was very clean and the kitchen was great to cook family dinners in. We got the optional resort package and it was definitely worth it to hang out at the beach! There was also a small kitty that would come to the front door to be fed every day, which was a lot of fun and different from any other property. The house had a stock of food and instructions, which was great. Would definitely recommend and we are planning to come back in the future.
