You'll find all the familiar comforts of home inside this beautifully updated condo, and the central location to Kaua'i's North Shore makes it the ideal base for all your island adventures. The generous living space includes a fully stocked kitchen, upstairs and downstairs living rooms, dedicated work space for the digital nomads, and three comfortably appointed bedrooms. The floor-to-ceiling windows in the main living space look out onto the huge, shaded, wraparound lanai, which allows you to take full advantage of Kaua'i's outdoor beauty while maintaining your privacy. For your added comfort, the downstairs master suite and queen bedroom are air conditioned.
A 2024 Traveler Review Award winning rental, Mauna Kai 5B is centrally located in Princeville, allowing for easy access to island hotspots like Hanalei, Anini Beach, and Kapa'a. The famous golden sands of Anini Beach are just a short 10-minute hike away down a shaded tree-lined path, making it easy to enjoy sun and surf. The property is also right next to the lush Makai Golf Course, where you can enjoy a morning walk along the scenic greenbelt, or take the path to the 1 Hotel at the far end of Princeville. The Westin Resort, just a 5-minute walk down Wyllie Road, provides convenient access to a Starbucks, grab-and-go mini-mart, and upscale dining at Nanea Restaurant. For even more options, the Princeville Shopping Center, with a variety of boutique shops, casual dining spots, and the Foodland grocery store, is just a 10-minute walk away. Be sure to check out Tiki Iniki for happy hour, and don’t miss the delicious shave ice (snow-capped is a must!). The property was perfectly designed. The layout was great and I loved that each bedroom had a bathroom. Our kids really enjoyed it. The lanai was the best!
The accommodations were immaculate. Another bonus was location. Very close to shopping, 15 minute hike down to the beach and close to lots of other beaches and restaurants. The kitchen was well equipped with everything that we needed overall, we would come here again in a heartbeat

Hottest part of the year obviously and a few times we felt the lack of central AC, but the huge lanai and really nice place made up for it for sure! We're so glad we booked here. The upstairs room gets WARM pretty much all night but has fans that help. The two downstairs rooms have AC units and stay nice and cool. Having the fans going in the living room and dining area really helped. It only got too warm later afternoon early evening.
Apartment was very nice decorated and had a fully equiped kitchen. Lush Garden, easy parking.The building itself and the outdoors show signs of the humidity and age of the building. Close to the shops and walking distance (steep dirt road) to a beautiful beach (also acceslible by car).

We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. The property layout is beautiful with all the basic amenities one would need to get settled. Enough room for everyone to have their “me” time.
place feel so spacious and welcoming. Lots of patio doors and windows to keep a breeze flowing through the place. Communal pool is 9' deep and big. Great to cool off in, or lounge around. Communication with property manager was easy and responsive. We loved our week-long stay.

However, as the description says- there is no A/C in the unit which made it incredibly hot. The trade winds did not help. However, we did find that 2 of the bedrooms had a window unit. Unfortunately, the on in the smaller bedroom the a/c doesn't reach the outlet and they did not provide an extension cord. It did make it uncomfortable without A/C and for the price I would not go back. On another note- they have extensive instructions on how to keep the unit clean. I am very clean myself so this was great. However, they did not provide the necessary means to clean (paper towels, cleaning agents, or rags). I do not find it acceptable to request that level of cleanliness of your guest and not provide the materials to do so.
The place was beautiful and was so close to princeville shopping center and Hanalei. Had a great stay in Kauai!

We had a fabulous stay in Princeville. This location was clean with beautiful modern decor. The place was big enough for 6 of us to be comfortable and not on top of each other. The management team checked in on us which gave us peace of mind. We would definitely stay in this home again! Mahalo!

This was an amazingly lovely and spacious condo. The complex is well maintained. The pool is just a few steps away. Since we stayed in January, the lack of AC wasn't an issue, but I'd rethink the use of the third bedroom in hotter months.
We loved our stay in this beautiful property. There were 5 of us - 3 adults, 1 teenager, and a preteen. Close to the beach and shopping. The listing was exactly as represented.
