Located in the D building of Papakea Resort - this spacious air conditioned studio has been tastefully renovated. All of the comforts of home await you including a queen-sized Murphy bed which folds away to create more living space when not in use. There is also a queen sized sofa sleeper, flat screen television, desk, and counter seating for two. If your preference is to dine outside, you will find seating for four on our private lanai; the ideal location to enjoy watching the evening sunset. From late November to early April, the channel directly in front of the resort is the playground for our beloved Humpback whales as they frolic and nurture their newborns before returning to colder waters in the spring. The studio includes:

Needed a quick getaway on the beach. Papakea has always delivered and was no exception this time.
We love staying at Papakea and our unit was clean & tidy. We were, however, quite surprised at the total lack of basic amenities: toilet paper, paper towels, dish soap, dishwasher detergent, garbage bags, hand soap. We attempted to contact the host, to no avail. Seems like most of those items would be included, as they are everywhere else.
Have been going to this resort since 2010, keep coming back!
View from lanai was great, same as show in picture with view of pool and ocean. Beach area was very nice for swimming and snorkeling. Was able to see lots of whales even from our lanai. Wonderful little putting area that we used several times. Grounds were very nicely taken care of, very tropical feel. Was nice to be able to walk to restaurants and grocery store.
Overall we had a great vacation. Small issue with both beds breaking but found the property manager very attentive and the issues were fixed very quickly. Would stay here again!
The property was exactly as advertised. Perfect location overlooking the swimming pool and green area. Steps to the beach, grocery store and restaurants. Spotless accommodation with everything you need. I would definitely recommend.
We didn’t get into the property n was instructed to turn around because of the deadly wildfires We stayed in a hotel closer to the airport but farther away from the incident Couldn’t get hold of anybody No signals That’s why we decided to find a safe place for us So never got into the property We are requesting for s refund of what we have paid for
This is our second stay in this condo. Perfect location, perfect amenities. We will stay here every trip to Maui.
This unit has an amazing beach view, and all the amenities we needed. Very clean and updated.
This resort is really nice and the location is perfect. The unit is nicely updated. I think a few minor things could make this place 5 stars. A cooler is a must, upgrade the beach chairs and towels. I’ve never seen a condo not have a cooler before. That was annoying and itrip didn’t bother responding when I asked about it. We had to find a place that rented out coolers.
