Ready for a beach vacation in paradise?!? Beach front complexes on the south shore of Maui are generally not this close to the shoreline and most are apartment zoned and may be subject to recent proposals to convert to longer term housing rentals. Nani Kai Hale is hotel zoned and NOT a part of the Minatoya list referred to in the media. In addition to the amazing location on Sugar Beach and panoramic views of the ocean, Maui Mountains and Kealia Pond, our condo has been beautifully upgraded and lovingly maintained to provide extra comfort and consideration for your needs. Nani Kai Hale 505 is the perfect romantic get-away for couples, but if you want to include the kids or friends, the sofa in the main living area pulls out to a bed with a Queen size mattress to accommodate up to two additional guests and the second full bath helps maintain privacy for occupants of the main bedroom. A well-appointed kitchen with microwave, stove, refrigerator and dishwasher makes preparing meals at home a great option after long days at the beach. Whisper quiet, remote controlled split A/C units and ceiling fans in the living area and bedroom will take the edge off the peak afternoon heat during summer months while allowing for open windows and sliding doors to cool you with fresh trade winds during our temperate mornings and evenings. The California King bed with high end mattress and linens create a comfortable environment for restful nights. Spend your days touring the island from our central location or stay at the condo and enjoy extra amenities we provide, including snorkel gear, boogie boards, yoga mats, games and premium cable channels on the 65" HD television. The condo comes stocked with paper towels, a new sponge, dish soap, hand soap, toilet paper, laundry soap, beach chairs and coolers, towels, hair dryers in each bathroom and an iron with full size iron board. Both full bathrooms have safety bars. The master bath has a glass block walk in shower with separate dressing area. The second full bathroom has a large soaking tub and shower.
Not too big and not too small, Nani Kai Hale complex boasts 46 units with kind and helpful onsite managers as well as owners who live on island and can be reached night and day for questions or assistance. The complex has a beautifully maintained grass lawn with plenty of umbrellas and lounge chairs that are steps away from the beach. You can also enjoy the heated pool and barbeque area, both located beachfront near the outdoor showers leading to the beach.
One of the unparalleled advantages of this property is access to whale watching from either our attached lanai or the beautifully maintained grounds of the Nani Kai Hale complex. Humpback whales migrate from Alaska throughout the late fall to give birth to calves in the warm, protected waters of Maui before beginning their journey back to Alaska during mid-spring. Another star attraction is Sugar Beach itself. Soft golden sand makes for an amazing morning beach walk. Kihei Canoe club is located to the south of us and visitors are welcome to join a guided morning paddle in an outrigger canoe for a fee.

Super convenient area
What a great condo! Our first thought was how the space looked exactly the same as it did online, which is not always the case. Very clean, and stocked with thoughtful amenities. We really enjoyed the ocean view and direct access to the beach. We had to contact the owners for a small request, and they were super responsive (and prompt). Close to groceries, restaurants, and shopping. We thoroughly enjoyed our time here and highly recommend!

Perfect location for exploring island! Afternoons were windy but mornings were tranquil. No problems ever finding parking or a lounge chair with an umbrella. Walked to sugar beach bakery twice for breakfast treats and coffee.
The condo was absolutely adorable! It was in a perfect location in Kihei, had all the necessary amenities and then some. Beach was beautiful and quiet. We really felt at home during our stay and would definitely stay again. Highly recommend this host and property!
A little too noisy for our liking. The wedding venue next door had events every night of our stay. Music was loud and not our style. Other than that it was a nice property on the beach. Enjoyed our morning walks on the shore.

This was an excellent experience. Everything was there to get us started. The only thing we struggled with was the door lock. It is an electronic pad that you need to press with your finger to "wake up". So this took us a few min. to figure out. That's it. Everything else was perfect!

Everything was so perfect and relaxing! We felt immediately welcomed and at home! Well stocked with everything you can imagine, even beach towels, chairs and snorkel gear. Loved having two bathroom and A/C. Comfy bed too! Enjoyed toasted coconut coffee on the lanai and took in the beautiful ocean view. The host is extremely pleasant and quick to respond. Can’t say enough great things about this place! Could’ve stayed much longer and would definitely want to stay again! Thank you!

Absolutely loved our stay at this property! First, I couldn't find a better price for such quality! It exceeded all my expectations — the place was sparkling clean, and the views of the mountain and water were breathtaking every single day. The condo had everything we needed for swimming, snorkeling, and relaxing. My husband was so thrilled I chose this spot. Plus, the location with a private lounging area was perfect! Lara was incredibly responsive and super generous (along with the cleaners), even allowing us to check out late because our flight was in the evening. Thanks to her, we enjoyed every moment right up to departure. Just a heads-up: don’t forget quarters for the washing machine! Highly recommend this amazing place!

We enjoyed our stay, and would definitely recommend. Location was convenient, accommodations were clean and updated, and since there were four of us we loved having two bathrooms. We enjoyed a lovely stay in this spacious condo overlooking the ocean. This is a great central location close to many hikung trails and Haleakala. Fully equipped with bareque grills , sparkling pool and right on the beach!

We stayed for 8 nights. Very easy to get around on public transportation- stop is down the street. Also just down the street is a wonderful bakery coffee shop and ABC store, easy to really to resupply. The property itself was comfortable and it has a lawn area and beach access. Overall it was a great place to stay. We would stay here again!
Perfect spot for those who rather be let loose in paradise with no attachments. Check in is automated, no line ups, no hassle. Just walk right in to a perfect little sanctuary put your belongings down and go walk the beach. Everything you need is accessible or easy to get. They have small coolers, beach chairs, snorkel gear and beach towels. Laundry is easy to setup through an app, parking is a breeze. Even a nice little drink, snack spot a couple doors down. I read comments on noise. Not an issue for us, was quite quiet but you’ll hear the odd locals music in a Toyota from time to time at night. No big deal. You’ll love it hear as we did.
I selected this property because it has 2 bathrooms but after arriving we discovered it has so much more.The location is perfect, somewhat off the main road but convenient to everything.This property provides everything you need to be comfortable. The kitchen and bathrooms are stocked with all the comforts of home.The property hosts provide prompt and gracious responses to any question.
Great place and location, only drawback is the traffic noise if you want to keep the windows open to hear the ocean, as the condo is right off of South Kihei Road. Other than that, we really enjoyed our stay!
We had a very relaxing and enjoyable stay in this unit. It had all the amenities, anppliances and beach accessories one would ever need. The location was wonderful with easy access to both Wailea and Lahaina. Coffee and chocolates were welcome and greatly appreciated.An added benefit was the proximity to the Sugar Beach Bake Shop. Yummy malassadas.
6 days of complete relaxation
I loved this place. Hearing the waves gently crashing in at night was a highlight. The condo was well equipped with everything we needed. I look forward to a return trip.
We loved our stay at your condo. It was so clean and the bed was so comfortable. Perfect location with a great view and a great beach to just walk out to. We had a couple of questions while we were there and Lara replied immediately. We would stay there again.

We were so comfortable and every detail was thought out and covered! We enjoyed the location, the grounds, the unit and the lanai! It seems like a tiny detail, but I loved the little night light that was built into the outlets. We would definitely recommend and would stay here again! Many thanks to the hosts!!
We spent the first 4 days of our honeymoon here. The owner has thought of every detail. We loved it. The only reason for losing a star was the noise from the traffic as the area is close to the highway.
Beautiful location and so convenient to be next door to the sugar beach event center for family wedding. Can hear the ocean at night and overall was a lovely, relaxing stay! Equipped kitchen and 2 bathrooms was awesome to have in hand too.
Lara was wonderful at communicating with me about any questions, before staying. The unit has everything you need and more. They have set up the unit so perfectly with a tv in the bedroom and and in the living area. We had everything we needed to cook and just a short walk to the farmers market and ABC store. Plus the walk along Sugar Beach every morning was wonderful. We will be back. Thank you!
Excellent
This beachfront, ocean-view unit is super clean, has quality furnishings, and is equipped with kitchen items and beach gear. Tip: The fridge has a working ice maker. I didn't realize that at first because the arm was up. The grounds are well-maintained, the walkable beach goes for miles, and it's easy to enter into mostly-calm waters that are perfect for swimming, SUP, etc. The location on the North end of the Kihei strip was great for us to get to other parts of the island during our stay.
We stayed here for our 10th Wedding Anniversary and it was absolutely perfect! Sugar beach was probably our most favourite beach that we experienced in all of Maui. Lara was a great host and we couldn’t have asked for a better location to stay in Maui.
Nice spot on the beach on a dead end. Had a few hiccups with your app not working and some linens but the owner made it right immediately.
