Guest Access:
You will receive a link to an online guest book when it gets close to your arrival date. You will receive the link by email and text. The home has an electronic lock at the bottom level where the cars are parked. A code will be generated into your guest book just before your arrival day.
The Neighborhood:
Hoone Rd, fronting Poipu Beach Park and Brenneckes Beach, turns into Pee Rd. This winding street is a popular place to watch the sunset on the wall fronting Nihi Kai or to walk one way and return to the Poipu Kai Greenbelt.

Getting Around:
When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.
Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation gives you the flexibility to visit these iconic locations on your own schedule.

The location is great. Close to the beaches and a really welcoming neighborhood. The communication was as good as it gets, and we had so many good times thanks to the preparatory information provided. And that view!
This is a standalone pod/ home. It has been recently renovated with nice amenities. A example- The main bed has a the ability to raise the head area. Kitchen and bathroom redone, but doors are original etc. the unit is a very nice clean space with separate ac units in bedrooms and main space! Kitchen is very well stocked! Picture of view in ad looks fake— but it is not! That is the view of the ocean. Beach is easily walkable. Surrounding is very safe. Lots of beach items you can borrow from complex. Parking is assigned and easy. shared laundry in under the unit. This is not a resort as they state in the ad, but you can’t beat the price for the location. Who needs a pool when you have a beach with turtles! Would stay here again. Please note this is on the sunny side of the island.
This house was comfortable and clean and ideally located near a few great beaches. The hosts were great, very responsive and provided some kind welcome gifts. The property also had some fun beach gear that can be conveniently borrowed. 10/10 would stay here again.
Overall, the stay was very good. It was my first experience with a VRBO rental, so I didn’t have expectations, nor experience to relate it to. The property was clean, with views and proximity to the beach/amenities as advertised. A few minor issues (one window had minor damage to the frame and a loose nail on a piece of the door jamb, but I didn’t notice until we were cleaning to vacate so there was little opportunity for the repair while still there). I would rent again.
My favorite location is Poipu. Management very quick to respond with questions. The home needs improvements to not be so basic. No dishwasher and the kitchen was very poorly stocked with pans etc... love the beach an turtles.
Everything here is excellent, except lacking of one table for lunch or dinner.
This is a nice property and the beach gear is great (though note that the gear is shared with multiple properties). Was well equipped but would be nice to have a few extra bath and beach towels (only provided the exact number of towels as guests). View from the lanai was great and there was generally a good breeze in the morning and evening (full sun in the afternoon). Easy, downhill walk to the beach, but note that the walkable beaches get very crowded. There are a couple of places to eat that are within walking distance, but most places are a short drive away. We enjoyed our stay.
Our parents enjoyed their stay here during a family wedding. Comfortable, spacious and nice ocean view.
My family and I had a wonderful time. We loved the veiw from the back porch. It was an amazing place to be. There were so many birds that came right up to us. I say this place is a 6 out of 5 stars. And everything was Perfect!!!🙂😄
This was a nice house with good amenities. The best were great beach gear and laundry facilities.
we really enjoyed our stay. The beach was approximately 1 1/2 blocks away. It's a nice walk. One night we went to beach at sunset and saw about 20 turtles come from the ocean to spend the night at the beach.
We loved our stay in Poipu! The unit was perfectly located. We walked down to the beach each day, usually with some beach chairs to sit and watch the sunset. We loved the availability of the chairs, boogie boards, other beach necessities. We did a few day activies- both on the north end and west side - and were thankful to be situated right in the middle of both. We loved coming back to the unit after an adventurous long day. The unit had everything you could need and want while on vacation in beautiful Kauai. Thank you so much!!!
Would repeat it again, great location close to beach and shops.
