Guest Access:
You will receive a link to an online guest book when it gets close to your arrival date. You will receive the link by email and text. The home has an electronic lock at the bottom level where the cars are parked. A code will be generated into your guest book just before your arrival day.
The Neighborhood:
Hoone Rd, fronting Poipu Beach Park and Brenneckes Beach, turns into Pee Rd. This winding street is a popular place to watch the sunset on the wall fronting Nihi Kai or to walk one way and return to the Poipu Kai Greenbelt.
Getting Around:
When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.
Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation gives you the flexibility to visit these iconic locations on your own schedule.

We had a lovely stay at this quiet but very convenient condo. We don’t have a single complaint. We loved it and truly were able to relax during our stay.
Enjoyed our stay and the location. Easy access to trails, restaurants, beaches. Hosts were attentive and unit was exactly as advertised.
We loved Makahuena 1204!! Unit was very clean, well equipped for cooking, stocked with extra towels & linens. The check in process was wonderful and easy. Very simple and easy instructions were provided in ample time. The view from the lanai was absolutely beautiful & just as the listing shows. We loved the location of the property as many shops, restaurants and attractions were within a short drive. We will definitely stay again & recommend this complex/unit to anyone!
We loved the views and the large open area. Very conveniently located to attractions. Very clean. We loved the pool and outlooks for the fine sunsets. Some maintenance / updates needed.
We enjoyed our stay. We had plenty of room, the location was great, and the scenery was beautiful.
Overall, enjoyed the stay and the unit. Clean, reasonably well-equipped and comfortable, with pretty good communication from the property manager. There several small items in need of repair (some of which were addressed during our visit); these caused only minor inconveniences. Glad we had the opportunity to stay here.
We loved staying here! The kitchen had everything we needed. The decor was adorable. Loved the few steps out to the rocks to watch the turtles play. Poipu beach was so close and enjoyed sitting on the beach eating the sunset and turtles coming in for the night. Great location - close to everything!

Had everything you needed with lots of nice small touches.
This place has everything you need in the perfect location! #1 is the view from the lanai. We saw whales every morning of our stay! It's also a short walk to Brennecke's and Poipu beaches, where we saw Hawaiian monk seals and turtles enjoying the warmth of the sun. Lots of great restaurant choices are within easy walking or driving distance. The property itself is very comfortable, with plenty of room to spread out and relax. We especially enjoyed having our morning coffee on the lanai while the myna birds called to each other and whales spouted in the water. Management was very attentive, sending a welcome text and checking in to see if everything was OK. We did have some trouble with the shower, and they sent a repair crew over right away to make it right. This is definitely a property we would consider again when we go back to Kaua'i!!
