Guest Access:
You will receive a link to an online guest book when it gets close to your arrival date. You will receive the link by email and text. The home has an electronic lock at the bottom level where the cars are parked. A code will be generated into your guest book just before your arrival day.
The Neighborhood:
Hoone Rd, fronting Poipu Beach Park and Brenneckes Beach, turns into Pee Rd. This winding street is a popular place to watch the sunset on the wall fronting Nihi Kai or to walk one way and return to the Poipu Kai Greenbelt.

Getting Around:
When visiting Kauai, we highly recommend renting a car to enhance your experience and give you the freedom to explore the island at your own pace. While there are other transportation options available, such as the Kauai Bus, it's important to note that the bus service may not run as frequently as you might expect.
Having a rental car allows you to easily access all the incredible sights and attractions that Kauai has to offer. From the stunning Na Pali Coast to the breathtaking Waimea Canyon, having your own transportation gives you the flexibility to visit these iconic locations on your own schedule.

Wonderful condo with beautiful views
We stayed here with my parents (77, 74), teenagers (16, 19), my husband and myself for a family vacation. The unit was well stocked with everything we needed and the view of the ocean truly was spectacular and made our stay extra special. Beds were comfortable and supply of everything from shampoo to toilet paper was appreciated. However, the description of the unit definitely lacks any mention of the amount and steepness of the stairs to get to the unit and in the unit. With aging parents, this was very difficult and I would not have rented it had I known this. They managed, but it was very challenging for them the whole stay. Additionally, the air conditioning was spotty and while we were glad to have it, it never quite worked entirely, especially in the loft. All things considered, the management was responsive and the stay was very nice, we just wished the pictures and descriptions had been more accurate.
Lovely spacious condo with wonderful views of the ocean. Very comfortable beds and A/C and fans on all 3 floors.We thoroughly enjoyed our time here, and would recommend this property.There are stairs to the condo, and a fairly steep walk to the parking lot to be aware of if you have mobility issues.

The condo was not super clean upon arrival: old dirty bathing suit in one of the drawers, dirty shower doors, lots of sand in the drier. We had a ton of maintenance issues during our stay as well: ice maker and water filter in fridge do not work, AC started dripping profusely and we had to shut it off, it was never fixed during our stay. The hallway lights didn’t work. The lanai screen door stuck a ton and was pretty hard to slide open and closed. No hot water in the shower (for a 9pm shower, not even peak time for hot water usage). The worst issue, however, was the door. Several times, the code box wouldn’t even light up when we pressed buttons on it and we had to wait or try many times (10 minutes or so) to even get it to light up. Apparently maintenance came by to change the batteries in it, but it happened after that too so I’m not sure. On our first night, after returning from dinner with tired and jet lagged children, we couldn’t get the code box to work for an hour and were stuck outside. The rental company told us different codes to try and none worked; even their master code. The lock would just turn and turn for a long time without clicking open. Then, they gave us the code to the lockbox that is supposed to contain the master key, but it was a pool key and didn’t work on the door at all. A lock smith came and confirmed that the lock was not functioning properly, and they replaced the pool key with the master key.

Incredible views of the relentless waves pounding the rocky shore. Sunsets were spectacular with the swaying palm trees and crashing surf.

Our stay at this rental provided amazing views that cannot be beat, plenty of sleeping space for a family of four, and a convenient location to restaurants, shopping, and adventuring. We enjoyed the pool several times, as well as Poipu Beach. The unit itself needs a bit of TLC (like a new front door as the current one doesn’t fit at all), but overall we had a wonderful stay. Note: There are stairs, so we don’t recommend it to guests with physical limitations. Our family would definitely return to this rental because the views, crashing waves, whale and turtle watching, and location were simply the best!
Amazing views of the ocean from every window and room. If you select by view, highly consider this location. Other items: 1. Older unit (built in late 1970s). Multiple maintenance issues discovered within 2 minutes of arriving: exhaust fans in bathrooms not working, one large blind broken, and 3 lightbulbs out. Clothing dryer broke halfway into trip. 2. Management is responsive, but clearly is inconsistent with maintaining the unit between tenants. 3. Great location- close to 3 walkable beaches 4. Loft bedroom has no bathroom on same floor (3rd floor). They really have to use powder on 1st floor because other two bathrooms on 2nd floor are en-suite. 5. Great breeze- there are several lower nicer units at this complex but they appear to get a lighter breeze. This unit captures a better breeze which keeps the unit cool. Air conditioner units are located in each bedroom and one in master if you get a hot week without breeze some how. We only used them at night. 6. Kitchen is well appointed. Even has a coffee bean grinder. 7. Great room was comfy and balcony area was great with multiple sitting areas. Would we rent again? Likely yes. My top priority is the view, which I considered outstanding. I just wish the management company really checked the unit well between tenants and fixed things before we arrived. It is clear their process is a bit off on this. This post is limited to 1500 characters, so this is the limited summary I could post.
This property is EVERYTHING we hoped for and more. Amazing whale watching from the lanai and amazing views from the bedrooms. MA1310 was a hit with everyone in our group. The owners were VERY responsive to texts and emails and very helpful throughout our stay. 10/10 recommend! We will be back!

Beautiful views from the wraparound lanai and all bedrooms. Condo had nice big rooms and Well stocked kitchen. The location was great in a nice neighborhood. Easy parking. Easy walking. Lots of stairs as it’s a 3-level condo but we didn’t mind as the views were spectacular. Perfect place for our girls getaway!
