Elite Condo with Spectacular VIEWS ❤️

Timely communication is lacking. Did not answer my questions prior to booking. I was treated like a criminal by security due to visitor authorization not being given. An unpleasant experience until it was resolved.Overall, the price is great and I loved adventuring in the area, but keep your expectations for the condo itself low - I've stayed at inns cleaner than this.

The property pictures are same as the stay which is the best part. The peacocks in the apartment are the beat part. The property is well outside the main island attraction and it takes atleast 1.5 hours to be near waikiki or east side of island. So additional 2.5 to 3 hours every day round trip as traffic is bad. The room main part (bed area) was clean and tidy but washroom was not clean and there were used cloths and used towers lying around. The utensils in the kitchen smell so not a great thing as well to cook. The parking part is a bit of chaos, you need to pay deposit which is informed earlier. However the office is open from morning around 9 to 5 and if you have morning flight you ll not get a chance to get the parking deposit back as it takes 1.5 hours to airport so you end up leaving early in morning, same thing would happen with late checkins as well. Instead of parking near apartment, I would insist you just park you car in visitor parking as the above hassle is not involved, but nobody informs about it but on asking the lady in office she said its fine to park in visitor parking and they provide a different kind of pass for it. Over all i would say 2.5 out of 5 stars

The location is quite away from the beach and almost out of view - positing showed the beach, was misleading. The price was the same as the Hilton rainbow tower and I wish we had stayed there an extra night instead of this place. There was no communication with the host till I reached out 3 days before the visit. The email from expedia said to wait for an email but none came. The carpet was dirty in multiple areas, vents were grimy and made us feel gross breathing in air from these vents, the place needs maintenance, repairs and updating. It was very dated and felt like it was in the 60’s. The evaluator was also sketchy and would open the door before it stopped moving. The sheets had some women’s hair in it and the pillow cases were dirty. I took pictures because I was grossed out and surprised and the contrast from the listing and the actual place. Peacocks and roosters screamed all day and all night - not mentioned and should be as it was terrible. Good note - security was tight. Also you are not supposed to rent out these condos as it’s against the co do rules and so the owners gave us detailed instructions and how to get past security. Very disappointed with this whole stay.

Parking was good. The room needs some TLC as well as more pots and pans for those who choose to cook. The views are spectacular.

The location was a bit out of the way but we knew that when it was booked. We were not prepared for all of the homeless encampments that line the coast but that did not interfere with our stay. Enjoyed the apartment and the facilities.

We booked this property for two nights expecting a one-bedroom unit, which was essential as we were traveling with a child. About one hour before arrival, the host informed us that the couch does not convert into a bed. Upon arrival, it became clear that the seating was a love seat, not suitable for sleeping. The unit was also a studio, not a one-bedroom, which did not match the listing. The overall condition of the unit was concerning. There were no clean sheets or bath/hand towels. In the closet, we found wet, dirty sheets and towels stored in garbage bags, which was very unhygienic. The only towels available were two beach towels that were torn, stained, and had a strong odor. The air conditioning unit showed visible mold, mildew, and heavy dust, and the balcony door did not lock, which raised safety concerns. I tried several times to resolve the situation directly with the host, but communication was unsuccessful, and no solution was provided. Because there was no safe sleeping arrangement for a child and the condition of the unit did not meet basic expectations, we decided not to stay at the property at all and had to arrange alternative accommodations. This experience did not meet the standards described in the listing, and future guests should be aware.

I have stayed at this property several times now and will continue to book this stay with Vanessa. She is a wonderful host and the condo is always ready for my arrival. The grounds and surrounding area area area always so well kept and staff are always available. Kili Dr is a direct shot to Makaha beach which is clean and safe and staffed with lifeguards. I also had an issue on my last day where I mixed up my check out time, Vanessa was so nice and more than accommodating to allow a few extra hours to check out. The kitchen in the unit is well equipped for cooking needs and the bed is very comfortable. 5/5 and will be staying again. Mahalo

Yes, host was very good

Communication was horrible from the start. When we arrived, we weren’t even on the list for security—even though I had already sent all of our info. It took security 15 minutes just to get ahold of the host. Then we got to the room and couldn’t get in because the code didn’t work… and someone was inside the unit.We tried calling the host (yes, it was after midnight), but got no answer. We had to go all the way back to security—who, by the way, were far more helpful than the host even though they aren’t affiliated with the rental. They reached out to another number and eventually the host moved us to a different unit.Once we finally got inside, the place was disappointing. They ask you to take your shoes off for the white carpet, but the carpet was stained and sticky. The room felt “mid” at best. I grabbed a cup for water and it was dirty. Overall the place just felt unclean, and we didn’t feel comfortable spending time in the room. We stayed only because it was a short trip and spent most of our time on the patio.Would not recommend.

We’ve stayed at many VRBO property’s throughout the years, but this was the first time we’ve experienced such disappointment. I will start with the PROS:Spectacular views, friendly staff and beautifully maintained grounds! CONS: Poor communication with/from the host, no blankets provided for the bed, condo was not clean, dirty/wet towels (possibly from the renters prior to us) left in the closet, leaving a horrible mildew smell throughout the condo, filthy carpet (even though there were strict instructions to remove shoes due to the white carpet) poorly stocked kitchen, no beach essentials, other than towels (although we purchased two beach chairs and “donated” them to the condo) parking difficulties (limited open spaces in the evening) and located in a less desirable/less safe area of Oahu.

Overall it was pretty okay. The host was not very clear about any of the other items we needed like how to access to pool, where to throw the trash, where was the laundry room, and there were not checkout instructions. It says to take off your shoes cause the carpet is white but we got in there and the carpet was very dirty with heavy staining all over there place. There was trash underneath the bed and socks that didn’t belong to us. Bed was comfy and big so that was a plus and the a/c worked decent cause this building is pretty old so all things considered the a/c was pretty good.

Me and my husband stayed here for our honeymoon and while we were not expecting a ritz Carlton experience, we were very disappointed. The property itself is amazing, very unique, quiet and romantic. There are wild peacocks, chickens and the view is amazing! The actual unit and communicating with the owner was very disappointing and frustrating. To start, she let us come early to drop food off which was nice but then she forgot to let us know that our unit was ready for check in until I followed up around 8 pm. When we showed there were no sheet pans for the oven which we were hoping to use. No big deal but the owner asked us to buy them and they would reimburse us which was a kind gesture, but not something I was comfortable or wanting to do. Then later, we asked her when the pools hours were or how to access the pool since all the gates were locked the few nights we tried to go, to which she said “just open the gate.” When we tried to clarify our question she only told us “sorry” which was a bit frustrating as we then had to ask another resident about the pool. There were a few other questions we had that got completely ignored by her— we were left on read 4 times. Two of which were about laundry and check out.

Every year my two sons and I stay at this condo, and we absolutely LOVE it! It truly feels like our home away from home. Vanessa is always so easy to reach and goes above and beyond to accommodate our needs.On our most recent trip, my youngest son wasn’t feeling well, and Vanessa kindly allowed us a late checkout so he could rest before our flight—something I was so grateful for. She also always gives us wonderful ideas of things to do with the boys, which makes our trips extra special.We feel so blessed to be able to return here year after year. Terrible even the bathroom rug had hair and lint all over them. Disheartening and anger when first walking in . I did report the conditions to Vrbo Vanessa duct the calls and emails, until the day before it was time to leave. Bathroom sink was told a clog there was roach dust under the refrigerator leading into the kitchen

space was newly renovated, location is in a huge condo near the beach. there are flocks of peacocks that live in the condo property which are very noisey and seem to make their noise at all hours of the nights. There is also a bus that comes at all hours and has to reverse in front of the parking lot and very loud beeping which wakes u up in the middle of the night and wee hours of the morning.

I enjoyed this place a lot. Smooth check in and check out. The parking lot was the best part due to all the beautiful peacock birds roaming around. It was nice staying on the west side of the mountain. Renting a car is a definitely must to stay here as I was gone most of the time exploring the island. Carpet could get replaced to make the apartment nicer but I enjoyed my stay. Had all the amenities needed.

The manager was to busy partying at Waiamea to check us in and rug felt dirty we wore socks but the property was nice.

The room was dirty. The couch legs were broken. There was dirty laundry left over from the last guest. I asked if they had beach chairs they reply yes there are 2 in the closet. They were both broken and rusted. The carpets were stained. The draps were held up with a rubber band. I should be receiving a refund on this location.

First the good - this place has an amazing view, great location for exploring the west coast of Oahu, super comfortable bed, wonderful pool BBQ area. However, our very short stay was extremely bumpy - starting with a poor check in process where our names hadn’t been sent ahead of time and the folks from the towers were not particularly helpful even though the host had sent info a few minutes later it still took about an hour to finally get in to the unit after first arriving at the gate and being denied entry. Then the next morning the water was shut off for the building containing our unit for the entire day. Unsure if the host was aware this was planned for the day or not, but we were not informed before checking in that it was going to happen and were not able to shower or clean up before heading to the airport which was not ideal. If our stay had been longer either might not have been a major issue, but as it was it was pretty frustrating especially as I was traveling with my two young daughters.

The room has a beatiful view and was very clean. However the room is outdated and needs a complete makeover. The photographer did a wonderful job hiding the deteriorated paint, carpet, rusted bathroom and delaminating tub. The condo's landscape is well maintained but the overall building clearly shows its age. Suspect from the 70's. The neighborhood where you access the beaches have significantly declined with obvious drug issues and homelessness problems making you feel vulnerable and unsafe. The comdo does have 24 hr security and did provide a high level of safety while inside the compound gates.

Apartment complex very nice and clean but apartment 1040 the one we stayed need TLC and CLEANING what’s on listing pictures and real it’s way off definitely needs new Garbag,bathroom towels, new kitchen utensils what’s in there dirty rusty and smell Awful.Overall it’s ok

Things we loved: the view was phenomenal! Loved our morning coffee and evening wine on the balcony. Good use of space. Comfy bed and lots of hot water and pressure in the shower. Lots of towels etc.The grounds are very well maintained. Pool and bbq area are great. Vanessa communicates well through direct messaging not Vrbo.Things we didn’t love: apartment needs some tlc and updating but does not affect the overall experience…and the carpets need to go lol Would we stay here again? Yes we definitely would.

Despite this property being off the main road, it is absolutely terrible with the noise level. There is a bus route that runs along the road to this property. It stops in front of the property and then the bus cannot make the turn so 2 to 3 times an hour it backs up, and this happens all night long- and you hear beep beep beep as it backs up all night long! there are also roosters that crow and peacocks that scream all night long - I hardly slept The actual unit definitely needs some tender, loving care. The route to the condo has numerous homeless encampments beach after beach.

Our stay was great. Easy check-in and check-out, beautiful condo with friendly staff. Keep in mind that the place is very far from the city center. We knew this when we chose it, and we based our itinerary on the north side of the island, and then we rented another place to visit the Waikīkī area and the city center, which is quite far from this one. For those who have trouble sleeping, the air conditioning is quite noisy, but for us it wasn't a problem, we always arrived very tired and would fall asleep. In windy weather it is also quite noisy, due to the height of the floor. And all the bars and places to eat in this area close very early, around 8 pm. It has a beautiful balcony with a view of the mountains and the sea (and also of the pool).

The place is located outside the Waikiki, however it was mentioned in the offer. The road goes nearby sketchy beaches but the building is located in safe and peaceful area. Property was clean and the window view was stunning. Check in process seemed a little bit long but it went extremely smooth. All instructions were provided and were easy to follow. Overall experience was great,highly recommend this place. Good value to the price

This time share condo has nice grounds and I am sure the condition of other rooms are great but stay away from 1024 the owners have not kept it up. There's no place to put your bags but on the floor it's a small condo and poorly stocked such as no bath clothes or hand towels but beach towels in all the drawers. It has a broken dresser for a TV stand and all the drawers are full of towels...no room to put your clothes. The complete area for miles each way up down the beach is inundated with homeless tents and the entire neighborhood is run down...very poor! Will NEVER come back here!

The location, stay and everything was good. However, the host gave us a different apartment number than what she provided to the security that led to check-in issues. The security said that it is a recurring issue with the host. I hope they come to an agreement.

Stay was for only 4 days, short and sweet. Enjoyed the morning coffee and evening beverages on the lanai. Host forgot to communicate my check in instructions but once we made connection, things went better. The place was OK but I knew that ahead of time. The rugs covering the carpet were more of a tripping hazard. Has to reach out to host for check out instruction the morning of depart and lucky all that was needed was for us to empty the trash. We had to ask where to throw out trash after circling the entire property as there were no instructions. Property management was very helpful and friendly the entire time.

While the condo is okay, in a decent location and comfortable, the communication from the host is almost non existent. I inquired about check-in instructions two days before my stay and got a reply one day before my stay. The host then neglected to properly notify the security gate of my arrival, so check-in turned into a 20 minute back and forth process. The pool, which is prominently pictured in the listing had been closed for a week and remained closed for my stay... all without any communication from the host. Because of the nature of the ocean in the area this time of year, having the pool available was an important consideration. I thought the option to cancel and choose other accommodations would have been fair. Got zero replies to questions I sent the host.

The condos are ready to get to. Place was perfect for our stay! Super ready check-in. Absolutely beautiful views!! My husband and I had a wonderful stay!

Overall we enjoyed our stay but somethings wrong with the ac unit. Most nights i slept without a blanket and i was up like every 20 minutes or so. I had to open up the doors to the balcony. I forgot how the peacocks got in the mornings all i could do was smileconice.

Do not stay here, room was dirty when we came in. Contacted our host Vanessa Bruneau about it asking for a refund for the cleaning fee since it was dirty when we arrived. Was told no sorry I already paid my cleaning lady. Ac does not keep the place cool. And you have to drive this rough/sketchy part of town to get to this place.

This studio was as advertised. The views are stunning and it is on a quieter side of the island, but if you plan on doing a lot of touristy things, it is about an hour drive away from everything. I also wish the pillows would have been better!

Like the location. I was looking for something away from the business of Waikiki and this was perfect! Loved the views of the mountains and ocean, and the very friendly staff. The peacocks were a bit noisy during the early hours of the morning, but nothing that bothered us that much

Beautiful condo, nice and quiet area. Peacocks were unexpected, beautiful to see and unexpectedly loud (in an entertaining way at least for us :) I would recommend to the host, adding BBQ tools to use at the community area. Nice to have a half kitchen to use, but is missing some common kitchen necessities (like measuring cups). Bed was SO comfy and loved sitting on the porch, amazing view! Thank you for providing beach chairs! Very detailed instructions for check in, although we arrived on a Sunday and had to adjust since the check-in office wasn't open until Monday. Wasn't a problem though. Would stay again!

This property was beautiful! Had a great view of the mountains and a very comfy bed! There are homeless camps as you drive through the west side of Oahu to get to the condo; however there are no camps on the beach that is closest to the condo and I was never bothered by the homeless. I felt very safe here as the property has 24 hour security and everyone at the property is super helpful and kind! I would definitely recommend having a rental car if you choose to stay here as it takes about 20 minutes to get out of the west side and onto the highway! We had to buy plastic utensils because we couldn’t find any in the condo. The condo seemed very clean except some of the dishes under the sink didn’t seem washed well. Overall, a great stay for the price!

What can I say the room had a great view the instructions were easy to follow the reason there’s a $100 deposit for parking is because people kept leaving with the parking placards so they upped the deposit. You do get it back when you leave. I would definitely stay here again

Great base camp for adventures on Oahu. The only issue we had with the property is that we couldn't find any silverware. The condo was clean and has incredible views. The owner was great to work with. Would definitely stay here again!

The good things were a comfortable bed, nice pool and spectacular view. Flooring needs replacing desperately, it was filthy! Old and tired condo. Really bad area of the island, lots of homeless camps nearby. Dirty sponges for cleaning dishes. Could be a great condo with some improvements!

The Views and the sounds didn't want to leave

Property is just OK. Directions for entry and required deposit for a parking pass were out dated. Spectacular view would be much better if bedroom glass wall were cleaned. Throw rugs throughout, probably to protect off-white carpet, are all curled at the edges and some bunched in center making for tripping hazards. Long curving slow drive to town and coast. Traffic to/from Honolulu really bad.

We had a great stay in the condo! We especially liked the location with the beautiful view from the balcony over the valley to the sea. We also used the resort pool and could have had a barbecue, the facilities were very good. The apartment was clean and the bed was comfortable. The storage space in the kitchen was sometimes a bit small when cooking, but everything worked well. On the west coast, unlike Waikiki, you have your peace and quiet. All the people we met in the resort and the people at the gate were very nice. It would just have been nice to know in advance that the resort office is closed at weekends and is open until 6pm on Fridays. We arrived half an hour late and then had to wait several days to get a temporary parking permit because of the weekend and New Year. We therefore had to report to the gate every day and were given a provisional form to park as a guest that was only valid for one day. From 01.01.2024, a deposit of $100 instead of $50 will be charged for parking. We were also asked for our apartment number at the gate, which we didn't know at the time, which made check-in more difficult. The apartment number could be provided in the initial information. However, we were able to get the key to the apartment without any problems. Overall, we had a wonderful time there and would definitely come back!

This place is within a condominium building that has security at the gate and requires permit to come in. The person renting the apartment is required to fill out the form and submit it to the security office in order for you to be able to get through the gate and park there. There are peacocks roaming the gardens and parking lot. Quiet area. The only amenity is the swimming pool. The location, even though it’s close to North Shore, is not accessible because one would need to drive towards the city Honolulu in order to take the freeway back up north and reach North Shore. The distance is only 12 - 20 miles but because there is no access it takes 1 hr to drive there. The beaches around the area of this apartment is populated by homeless camps. This apartment building is really an Oasis. Once you enter the grounds you feel like in a total different world. Kind people, kind staff. I recommend.
