This home away from home has a lot to offer with beautiful beaches, local snorkeling, and eateries all within a 10-minute drive.
QUIET TIME:
This is in a gated residential community, please be mindful of our neighbors, no parties, no events, or large gatherings, HOA requires quiet hours 9:00 pm - 8:00 am.
PARKING:
Driveway parking. No parking allowed on the street and road.

Guests will have access to the entire home except for a few closets, and cabinets that we have locked.

Great stay in Waienae, Oahu.We stated heure for the first time and hard an amazing experience. The vacation home was spacious and comfortable- perfect for our group of 4 adults and 3 teens . Really appréciated the fûlly équiped kitchen, which made it easy to cook everyday. Had to drive about 1 to 1.5 h to the popular attractions. No complaints at all. A great place to stay overall!!Thanks for everything!
Amazing house with incredible views of the mākaha valley and beautiful ocean! The only thing I would say is the 45 min to an hour drive across island to get to shops, snorkel tours, and beaches etc. There is a pretty large homeless encampment on the drive to the house, but the house is set far back into the valley. We never felt unsafe at any point- if you like seclusion- this house is your perfect Hawaiian vacay!
Clean, beautiful views, close to uncrowded beaches, hiking, wildlife, caves. If you want to get away from your hectic life and reconnect stay here. Makaha Valley is about 1 hr north from downtown Honolulu and 30 min from the Disney/ Four Seasons resort area. You will need a vehicle. We loved it, but it depends upon what you are looking for. More locals live in this area and there are some sketch spots along the way. Homeless, etc. But we never felt unsafe and the property itself is in a gated community with a manned station at the entrance.
The listing presented the property very well and it was just as I expected. The home was clean and located in a newer development. It is tucked back up in mountains making it very quiet. The property manager was very responsive, professional and friendly. Being on the west side of the island did mean more drive time to sites on some days. No sofa sleeper but they did have some mats in the closet so our kids didn't have to share a bed.
Location is the only issue- it’s far away from everything bee wanted to do and below the neighborhood is a little less desirable- overall the house is clean roomy and has a fantastic view.
We really enjoyed our stay! The area is beautiful and the hikes and beaches were incredible. When back at the house we enjoyed the garage games and the view. Just a lovely family vacation spot. Mahalo.
This was a beautiful space, with lots of extras that made the stay so easy. The home is laid out very well and the view is breathtaking! I loved being away from the craziness of Waikiki! Thank so much to our wonderful hosts!!
This rental was perfectly sized for our group and very comfortable. It’s a beautiful brand new home. The only drawback was there was no outside space available. The whole community is under construction so it’s all a work in progress. No doubt that a little bit down the road it will be great .The view was amazing at this rental , the mountains, and the whole valley to the water. This rental is not a reflection of the area it’s located . It’s good to do some research about the west side before renting. We love it over here.
