Excellent place to stay. We loved the backyard after a day at the beach. We grilled almost every night and hung out under the pavilion.

We had a really nice stay in this cozy house.The host Samson was incredibly kind and polite. He was very responsive and made us feel truly welcome.The house is located right in the middle of a small village, which gave us an authentic local atmosphere. We woke up to the sound of roosters crowing and dogs barking nearby - it added a charming Hawaiian touch.One of the biggest advantages is the excellent location. It’s very close to many beautiful beaches Makaha, Pokai Bay and others are just a short 5–15 minute drive away.The house itself was very comfortable. The beds were excellent and we slept really well. The kitchen had everything we needed, and the house was well-equipped with air conditioning, Wi-Fi, clean linens, and towels.If you’re planning to stay on the West Side of Oahu, I highly recommend this place!

This house was even better than the listing-- we could not have asked for a better spot to stay for our friend's wedding! The house is clean, well-equipped to cook, comfortable, and the outside area is a serene spot to relax with a cup of coffee or a book. Close to nice beaches, great hikes, supermarkets, and local restaurants. Hendrika went out of her way to make our stay special and we will definitley plan on coming back! Thanks for everything!

Awesome place, amongst the natives. Close to beaches. Owners are super responsive. It is away from the city, so a bit of a drive but worth it.

Host was great to communicate with. Very professional and friendly. Amenities were great! Fully stocked kitchen with all the appliances and dishes you would need. Laundry soap and soap for the dishwasher were available for use. Towels available as well as beach supplies to make those trips to the beach rememorable. Highly recommend this for future vacationers. Would stay here again in a heartbeat!

Yes, the house was very clean and the host even let us borrow some of their beach toys for the kids. The only issue was the internet connection. It would cut in and out at times.

Good condition of the house

This house is a hidden gem for any couple or family with kids that needs a place to stay while visiting Oahu. Newly remodeled, smartly decorated and providing all the comfort as if at home, you are within an hour of Honolulu and everything else is at your fingertips. We loved the fact that we could wash our own laundry. We stayed here for 7 days and it felt like a home away from home. The owner has done a wonderful job updating everything within and I would highly recommend staying here.

We had an excellent stay here in Hawaii! My friends and I were amazed at how spotless the house was when we arrived—it was perfectly clean and welcoming. The location couldn’t have been better, just a short distance to a beautiful beach and close to a state park with great hiking. We also loved the well-equipped kitchen, which made it easy to cook and enjoy meals together. I highly recommend this home to anyone considering a stay here in the future!

We loved this house, we were visiting for a wedding and this house was 10 minutes from the venue. Stayed with my elderly parents and two kids. Loved the third bedroom had a daybed and trundle for the kids. Everything is newly updated and very clean. Samson was lovely and checked in a couple times to make sure everything was going well. The backyard is a perfect little hangout and the kids loved it.

The property is absolutely beautiful! Extremely clean, and the backyard was very well maintained. The house was stocked with everything we could ask for such as kitchen appliances, utensils, dishware, linens, towels, beach items (chairs), and great washer & dryer.We were a party of 7 including a grade schooler, 2 teens, and 4 adults including an 80 year old. There was plenty of space for everyone, and the beds were very comfortable. Having 2 full bathrooms was a blessing for our mixed age group. Kitchen is well equipped with new and clean appliances and we saved a lot of money by cooking instead of eating out.I didn't give 5 stars for location, but that will depend on what you are looking for during your stay. It's located in the Northwestern side of Oahu island, which not your typical tourist areas. If you are hoping to relax at the property a lot, and want to visit places like Ka'ena Point Trail (which is beautiful and not touristy at all) and Makua Beach to enjoy the gorgeous Hawaiian nature, this is a great place to be. Unfortunately for us, some of us wanted to do things mostly in Honolulu so it meant a long drive to from the property. The property is within a regular residential area which meant we were greeted with barking dogs at midnight and over achieving roosters at 4am in the neighborhood. The beautiful property made up for the long drive.Samson is a great host, very quick to respond (be mindful of the time difference though), and we had no problem.

I rented this hoise for 12 days, it was really clean, organized, the beach was within walking distance, beautiful views of the surrounding mountains, 45 min away from honolulu, ala moana center and all the atractions. The neighborhood was quite very good location.

We had an awesome stay here. The home was extremely clean, great back yard and tub for the kids! Will definitely book again for our next Oahu vacation!
