Our family of four spent 15 days in the apartment. It is a great place equipped with everything that you may need to have a comfortable vacation. The location is very convenient to explore the island or just relax on the seashore.

We loved our stay at this condo! It was exactly as described and in a perfect location, close to Kīhei but out of the busiest of that area, and a 1 minute walk to Sugar Beach which is beautiful! We really appreciated that the condo had a very nice selection of beach toys (chairs, coolers, etc). And the owner was extremely helpful with information before our stay and you can tell she wants you to have a great experience.

What a beautiful view when you walk into the home! You look straight out to the ocean right from the front door. The home had way more amenities available than all other VRBO homes we’ve stayed at and the parking was great and not far from the front door. The property is so quiet, you can hear the ocean even with the doors closed. We loved hearing the ocean, it’s so calming. Diane is fabulous to work with and responds quickly to any questions you might have about home or surrounding area. We would absolutely stay at this home again. Book quickly as the home is worth every penny.

The ocean is literally right outside the door. It was wonderful sleeping to the sound of the waves. The view is outstanding. The property was well care for and very clean. Diane was always avaliable and very helpful with any questions.

This was a wonderful condo to vacation in. Everything you might need is stocked plus so much more. The location was perfect. Far enough from the city but not so far that it is inconvenient. We absolutely loved staying here.

A wonderful place to relax and enjoy the beautiful view and a great location to go and visit all that Maui has to offer. Secluded Sugar Beach is just steps away and the condo is well stocked with beach equipment along with a good assortment of kitchen necessities. You can tell that the owner takes great pride in the condo as it's maintained like they live there.

This property was more than just a VRBO listing. It became home. I was getting married on island, and I had family flying in from far away to attend. I needed a place that could support my grandmother who has trouble with mobility, as well as comfortably house the rest of my family. The VRBO had all the amenities my grandmother needed and more. The hosts were very responsive and accomodating. Upon arrival, it felt as if we were welcomed home. I highly recommend this listing for its hosts, the beautiful unit, and the ease of commuting -- it's practically in the middle of everything.

We have had the good fortune to have stayed in Hawai'i, mostly Maui, at least once or twice a year since 2008. This was my wife's favorite condo/VRBO to stay at. This is an excellent location to explore the rest of Maui; condo is floor level, easy short walk to the pool, beach. Rooms and beds were comfortable, especially with the AC. The sound of the ocean so close by was soothing, lovely. The interior decor is not the latest, but it is really quite adequate, like home. All the appliances and cooking pots, even spices including salt and pepper were included, a nice touch. Also having enough tissue paper and paper towels was appreciated, no need to run out and buy some right away. In unit washer and dryer is very convenient. My 22 year old son thought the TVs were too small, but we thought that they were fine. Again, one does not go to Hawaii to watch TV. We will be back in Maui in Feb 2026 but this condo is booked for the time that we will be here, which is too bad, but it is a busy time of year...--for we would certainly come back again to stay at this condo, in a heartbeat. This is a great condo, in a great location, easy access to Kihei, Kahului, and west Maui/Lahaina.

Everyone was very nice. Owner makes sure you have everything you need. It was stocked VERY well! Its paradise!

It was a great quiet place. We really enjoyed the spot right on the ocean.

Good location

Kana'i A Nalu is our favorite place to stay in Maui. This ground level unit was fantastic. Having the extended lanai provided space for our family to eat all our meals outside watching the waves. Perfect location for watching the sunrise. Short walk to the beach. Our two teenagers had space for themselves and everything was provided in the unit that we needed for cooking meals and bringing any beach gear for our daily adventures.Diane was easy to communicate with

Great 1 week vacation with three young kids. Easy access to the beach and all local attractions.

Diane thought of everything in this condo! Anything we could have wanted, she already had there. The condo easily fit our family of 5. We loved the location, especially being able to sit on the porch and spy whales…lie in bed and hear the waves crashing…walk out the door to the beach/ pool….and easily access tourist destinations , food etc.Thank you for sharing your home with us!

We had a wonderful stay. Our days started with drinking coffee on the lanai, while watching the sun rise and listening to the surf. Sometimes we were lucky enough to see a whale or turtles swimming right in front of us! How magical! The condo had everything we needed from cookware to dinnerware to spices. The swimming pool and barbecue grills were an added bonus. The beds were comfy and the air conditioner worked great! I hope to come back again soon.

Our group of 6 (2 grandparents, 2 parents, 2 kids- 4 and 16 mo) were able to fit easily. The condo has lots of amenities and toys for kids. We really enjoyed sitting on the lanai and watching the whales breach in the bay. The condo is located in quiet little village which gives it a much more relaxing vibe. Overall great stay. The condo was perfectly situated. Steps from the water so we could see the whales out in the water. The oool was close too. It was perfect!

We had the best time staying at this property. Every morning we got up to watch the sun rise over Haleakala and with that came turtle spottings, whales breaching and so much more. This area has one of the nicest beaches just down the street where you can swim and snorkel. It is also a great central location if you want to explore other parts of the island. .Thank you Diane! Your place was perfect for our family and we can’t wait to come back in the future.

The condo was everything that we hoped for. Great location. Had everything we needed. Great communication with owner!

The condo is well stocked. Fine sheets and towels. New appliances. Comfort beds. The sound of the surf crashing was marvelous. Unfortunately the sand access to Sugar Beach has washed away. The condo is in a flight path to the airport but soon the sound of 5he jets fades. We enjoyed our time on Maui and being in the condo.

Location was amazing, patio has amazing views, house has everything you need for kitchen and beach day!

Loved everything about the property as nothing can beat the location and amenities of this property. I would only recommend it to guests who don’t mind the responsibility of caring for the property! It’s not a hotel kind of property where there is little /no maintenance . This property has a lot of soul to it that it requires the right kind of care during your stay and justifies the exhaustive list of criteria listed by the owner as part of the rental agreement . If you are wondering if this property is right for you definitely recommend getting the entire rental agreement from the owner ahead of time and reading it to ensure it’s a right fit for you.

Everything was great. Communication was great and made it easy. We loved the condo. Plenty of room and fully stocked.

The unit was so well organized, clean and well maintained. As mentioned the condo is exactly 15 steps away from the ocean and the view is fantastic. We were lucky to spot turtles in the morning. Our host supplied all the necessary items needed for a wonderful stay. The kitchen and bathroom closets were well equipped. Our host was very responsive and was just a phone call away. Thanks a lot for making our stay so memorable.

The location can not be beat! We loved seeing the ocean every morning and night. Easy to get anywhere on the island from here. It was stocked with everything we needed as a family to make meals and enjoy recreating on the beach.

This place has everything you need. I took my family and we and such a good time! The view from the condo is spectacular. The pool is great, the ocean right there. Quiet away from the town. I would definitely recommend this place.

Diane’s place is the perfect condo for families! We enjoyed a week stay with our 1 year old infant and had everything we needed. The pool is easily accessible, the beach was 30 steps away (not crowded/ calm waves perfect for swimming and snorkeling), and the ocean was 5 steps from the lanai where we saw sea turtles every day. I appreciated the detail Diane has put into the kids items at the condo and besides finding the pack & play and high chair very useful, my daughter loved playing with the blocks and beach toys. The condo was clean and well stocked with everything for a perfect vacation. We will 100% be back- thank you Diane!!

What a wonderful place…nothing better. I stepped outside the sliding glass door each morning with my cup of coffee in hand and was greeted by unobstructed, amazing water views. The sound of the waves reaching the shore lulled us to sleep each night and gently woke us up each morning…nothing better! We have stayed at quite a few VRBO’s and this one is at the top of our list. We will definitely be back. Not to mention the host/owner of this condo in paradise is the best. She responded to a couple of questions I had in a timely manner. Her written details about her property and surrounding area was very much appreciated. We were even lucky enough to have seen a whale splash out in the distant and turtles each day swimming close to the shoreline.

While this condo is dated, it is serviceable. More importantly, the beds are all very comfortable (you can even have a 2nd King in the guest bedroom), the kitchen is equipped with everything you can think of, there is a new/excellent W/D, and the location is central to every part of Maui, making exploring all the areas convenient. We were not more than 20-35 minutes from any part of Maui...the airport, South, West, North Shore.....it made exploring all parts so easy.

The condo unit was exactly as described, no issues or complaints, unless u hate sun, wind, ocean or geckos 😅. Some of the furnitures are old, just gotta be careful, especially when kids around. We are literally few steps away from the pool and the ocean. The grass area became a "walking" path for folks to go to the beach, as the ocean has ruined parts of the beach. However we loved meeting other familys and their kids. The pool has some harsh ruels for kids as the sound does travel into the apartments. There were turtles everyday in the ocean and if u watch carefully, u would see whales. We loved it!!! I will definitely come back!

Communication was amazing. Everything was communicated promptly and thoroughly throughout our stay. We opted for a this walkout ocean front rental instead of a resort and we would do it again. More privacy than any resort and the ability to stay right oceanfront when most resorts you are so far back you have to pack up just to get near it. We saw turtles multiple times a day right outside the unit. We saw whales almost everytime we looked out the window or sat outside. The ability to wake up at 6am make coffee and sit on the patio to watch the sun rise over Haleakala in our pajamas was priceless.

The waterfront view was the best. There was a lot of whale action always. The unit was immaculate and extremely well equipped. The location was convenient to everything. We couldn’t have asked for more.

Good place to stay!

We just wanted to be able to sit and relax and watch for whales (bring your binoculars!) and listen to the waves and this place was perfect! Clean and comfortable, it had everything we needed!

Probably the most desirable unit in the complex. Extremely well supplied. Very pleasurable experience. Am booking another.
