The Best Ocean View Studio Condo at the Royal Kahana Oceanfront Resort

Had a great stay! Beautiful views.

Our host, Mike, was amazing. His communication was great and the condo was perfect. Well stocked with everything we needed for our stay. The complex is clean and the pool was very nice. They also had a food truck at the pool that served excellent food. I would stay here again and highly recommend it for anyone looking!

Michael was so very kind and went out of his way to care for us! Incredible view! Can hear the ocean even when sleeping! Amazingly clean, beautifully decorated. Washer/dryer definite plus. Close to shops, groceries and gas. Would definitely visit again!

The condo was very clean and well stocked with extra supplies. It was so nice having the washer/Dryer right in the condo. We did lots of turtle watching right off our balcony.

The good - We could not have chosen a better place to celebrate our 36th anniversary!The bad - We are staying an additional week in a condo a mile away, with our children and grandchildren, that does not come close to our stay at the Best Ocean View Condo at the Royal Kahana Oceanfront Resort. Cant wait to come back!!!

Great studio

The place was beautiful, we spent a lot of time on the balcony watching turtles swim by. Mike was very helpful and I would love to stay here again!!

This was a very nice location with a wonderful view. I would stay here again! All the amenities were provided and comfortable overall. Did I mention the view?! The view of the sunset was just beautiful.

This studio condo was perfect for our stay in Maui. The description of the place and amenities was spot on. Perfect for 2 people. The kitchen was well equipped and the supply of salt, pepper, sugar, creamer and tea along with a few spices was nice to have. Also the coffee grinder was a real plus! The Molokai and ocean view was amazing. Communication from Mike prior to our trip made check in go smoothly taking less than 10 minutes. We would book here again and recommend it to anyone visiting Maui.

Absolutely incredible clean beautiful place with the best views! We had the best sleep to the sound of the ocean Totally recommend it and we are definitely returning to this wonderful place on the paradise island!

The accommodations are just as expected- wonderful view, updated bathroom and kitchen with everything you need, even 2 sets of binoculars to enjoy watching turtles swimming along the shore. The location is perfect for exploring Maui’s top snorkeling beaches. You are minutes away from Honalua Bay, Kapalua beach, Airport beach and many many more. The sunsets are spectacular!!!We can’t wait to return!

We enjoy our time here, wished we could have stayed longer! Mike has thought of every immensity that you may need to make your holiday stress free. We’ve never stayed at a place with so many little extras provided. We appreciated the well appointed kitchen, fridge with an ice maker, ice packs to use with the cooler when we went to the beach, beach chairs, etc etc. the view from the balcony was amazing! We loved our time spent there. Sunrise coffee and sunset wine. Even saw a rainbow! The condo was spotless, it’s clear Mike takes great care of his unit! Love the turtle tiles in the bathroom too. Pool was nice and a small beach available just a short walk. Bbq available, we didn’t use them but many others did. So handy! The location is great, close to many local restaurants. Easy access to head anywhere!Mike always provided timely communication. We would definitely recommend this little piece of beauty in Maui!

Our stay in Maui was amazing, and the condo made it even better. It was spotlessly clean and offered a breathtaking ocean view from the 12th floor. Watching sea turtles in the surf from the balcony was a highlight of our trip! The condo was quiet and peaceful, conveniently located near beaches and activities. The unit is also well equipped with supplies for a day at the beach. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to stay and will highly recommend it to friends visiting Maui.

Mikes condo has everyyhing you need for a great stay in Maui, with amazing views from the 12 floor lanai. Having stayed in many vrbo's & air bnb's around the globe. Mikes may be the best fully stocked place we have stayed in.one suggestion would be to add a pair of quality boogie boards. This unit is also in a great location, less then 8 minute drive to 3 of the best snorkeling spots on the Island

We loved our stay at this studio condo, it was perfect for my husband and I. We spent many hours at the resort pool and many more on the lanai watching sea turtles.

Wonderful location, super clean condo with lots of amenities provided. Lots of communication from owner and easy to understand instructions. Probably one of the best stocked condos we've ever stayed in. Everything felt new and the view from the lanai simply can't be beat.

My husband and very much enjoyed this condo on the 12 floor. The view was spectacular and we saw a lot of whale activity from our balcony. Very clean and well stocked with essentials for our stay, washer and dryer in condo was a plus.Highly recommend!

This is your home-away-from-home on Maui! Great views of the water and right on a beach (when the tide is low enough). This condo has everything you need, from a fully stocked kitchen and bathroom to beach equipment. Beware there is a nightly parking fee at the complex (which is still lower than any of the resorts nearby) and there aren't many restaurants nearby (at least the McDonald's is pretty good). Mike was a great host with wonderful communication throughout the entire process. He provided everything we needed to know before our trip and I didn't need to reach out at all while we were there. We will definitely look to stay again if/when we return to Maui!

The price was very reasonable for the amazing view you got from the balcony, the cleanliness of the condo, and the location, which gave us access to incredible beaches nearby. We saw so many sea turtles when we stayed at this place!

We loved the location of the condo. We were able to spend our mornings on the lanai and look out onto the ocean and see tutles every day. The condo had an amazing cross breeze with so we didnt have to use the a/c at all. Mike was in contact about a week prior to our stay and right before check in. Everything was as described. He also has so many extras not listed so if you happen to forget something more than likely he has it there for you. We had an amazing stay and recommend the condo for a couple who would love to relax and have an amazing view!

This condo is a gem. Very clean, nice balcony and view, and the best stocked rental we have ever stayed in. If you’re looking for spacious accommodations, this is not for you. However, if you’re looking for a lovely place to hang your hat while you tour this enchanting island, this is for you. Owner was excellent to work with. A couple of nice places to eat that you can walk to. A handy water dispensing machine in the lobby to fill you personal thermos with cold fresh water. Plus a drive-through McDonald’s nearby where you can pick up your tropical iced tea, only served in the islands, to start your day. 😊

Overall we really enjoyed our stay at Mike's place in Kahana. The ocean view was incredible and we thought the condo was even nicer in person than the photos. The condo was well stocked with supplies and very clean. The hotel is in a great location, although there is no direct beach access (you have to walk to the next hotel over so not a huge deal). Overall highly recommend staying here.

property and views were just as listed. everything was perfect until construction started at 5.30 in the morning. not owners fault,repairs needed to be made.just wish i knew prior

We stayed here for 6 nights in March 2024. Overall we made a good choice. The location is perfect for west Maui and view from the balcony is excellent. When you book with the owner, you will receive a packet that lays out the property and the rules. It may seem like a lot but once you arrive you will understand how they keep such a clean and orderly condo. The loveseat is new and nicer than the picture. It was great having the washer and dryer in the room and the AC was very quiet and did a good job for the one night we needed it. Every other night we went to sleep with a nice breeze and the sound of the ocean waves. The pool area is good with lots of outdoor seating and fruit stand that was open in the afternoons. We did not use the grills, but they are in good shape. As of March 2024, there are some sandbags along the beach wall due to beach erosion, but there is an oceanside walkway to the smaller beach just south of the resort. We would stay her again if visiting west Maui.

Amenities were great for two people. Views were outstanding. Owner was available if there were any problems (there were none) . Nicely decorated, exactly as the picture shows. We were not disappointed. Would do it again.

We totally enjoyed our stay. The ability to sit on the lanai and watch the whales was awesome. The location was good. A little better sand beach access would help.

Communication with our host was great. The unit was a studio, so it was smaller than what we usually stay in. But it was so well laid out, and there were so many nice details that it worked really well. Watching whales from the lanai was a favorite activity every day. Even if it wasn't whale watching season, just enjoying the beautiful water would be nice.

Very god

The condo has a generous balcony with comfortable seating. Upgrades and cleanliness in the condo make it feel comfortable. I would choose this condo again when returning to Maui. The beach is eroding but there is the option of convenient ocean access for a quick dip in the ocean.

Mike has an amazing place. We would definitely stay there again.
