You've discovered a listing for a luxurious one-bedroom condo on the top 6th floor. Granite countertops, stainless steel appliances, tile floors, travertine bathroom, two 40' LED TVs.
The convenient floor plan allows unobstructed views of the ocean bay and West Maui mountains from every room, literally one can watch whales while still in bed (whales are not included)
Each of the rooms has independent entry to large shared lanai (balcony).
Condo amenities include central A/C (both rooms), wireless internet, cable, dedicated parking spot, king-size bed with luxury plush mattress. For additional guests we can offer unfoldable couch and/or queen-sized air-mattresses.
Kauhale Makai (Hawaiian for Village by the Sea) amenities include manicured garden-like grounds, pool, shallow kid's pool, hot tub, shuffleboard, putting green, well-maintained outdoor BBQ grills, coin-operated laundry facilities on the same floor, elevator, concierge services.
The building is located in Central Kihei and offers convenient access to all Maui attractions, shopping and transportation. The nearest supermarket, and shopping plaza is about 0.5 miles away - can walk, Wailea is 5.5 miles away, Airport - 11 miles, Lahaina 21 mile, Costco, Walmart - 10 miles, renowned Ma'alaea Aquarium - 7 miles, Haleakala crater - 32 miles.
Of course, many of Kauhale Makai guests choose to spend relaxing days on property, enjoying pool, BBQ, cocktails on lanai, unbelievable tropical sunsets from the beach, and wrapping up the day soaking in hot tub.
We believe that our condo will be most comfortable for a couple or for a family with 1 or 2 children.

The host was very welcoming, and the place itself was super nice and clean. The amenities in the condo were perfect - all the beach stuff you could need.

We loved our time at this rental near Kihei. Great view, super clean inside, nice pool and spa. Kihei has many good, reasonably priced restaurants to enjoy. Short drive each day for various snorkeling beaches. For sure would stay here again if we're lucky enough to come back to Maui.

This is centrally located in Kihei with Pool, Jacuzzi access . Everything is well thought and pantry, bathroom were cleaned and fully stuffed. Michael has provided snorkeling equipment, beach chair, surf boards, umbrellas etc in the closet near to bathroom. I would definitely recommend this property.
The view from the balcony was great and we spent a lot of time out there. Location was excellent, close to several lovely beaches and to restaurants. It was a decent space, but perhaps could use some sprucing up to bring it closer to a “luxury “ condo. Also, a regular size coffee maker would be very helpful and some potholders. All in all we enjoyed our stay here.
No complaints. Everything was perfect, kids enjoyed the pool and beach. Turtles right on the beach out back and the beach wasn’t over crowded like others.
We loved the view from the balcony. The space was perfect for the two of us. It was nice that you could easily drive to shops and restaurants in Kihei. We would stay here again.
Check-in was simple, with clear instructions emailed ahead of time. The living space and kitchen were the highlight of the condo and where the most remodeling work went into. Comfortable bed that was separated out from the living space which gave my wife time to rest when I was awake. Like other guests have mentioned there are some touch ups that could be adressed in the bathroom space but nothing bad. There are 3 snorkel sets there (one is a kids set), beach umbrella and two chairs along with beach towels. There was also a playpen for the under 2 years old crowd. Overall the location if this rental is perfect as its centrally located from the airport, west Maui and south Maui beaches. If you get the chance take the snorkel gear to La Parouse
This unit has everything and over kill. The host might have thought everything that the guests need to stay here comfortably. Literally you can move in to live here for good. Best host ever.
Accommodations, Ambience and Area were all wonderful. Communication was clear and detailed from reserving to arrival. Would definitely stay here again. A fresh coat of paint could be beneficial, but would not be a deterrent from staying again. Don M
Nice condo had everything we needed. Great view out to the ocean. Easy access (by car) to great beaches and restaurants.
The management was very responsive and helpful. The location was great, too. Very convenient access to the beach, and very nice views. The only suggestion I have is to provide a better and larger coffee pot. Overall we really enjoyed the place.
