Things to do:
Staying at the Islands at Mauna Lani gives you full access to its pool complex complete with spa hot tub and a large pool that comes equipped with a hidden grotto behind a waterfall.
You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkelling in calm waters!
A short drive away are the six of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breathtaking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven challenging courses all within seven miles of our villa.
Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find a supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.

Loved it! Loved the Big Island!
Spent a week here with our two college-aged children. Convenient to both the beaches and the mountains, with plenty of peace and quiet, we love this location. View from the master suite balcony toward the volcanoes is an amazing place for the morning coffee. As a family that likes to cook, we also appreciated the well-equipped kitchen.
We stayed at this condo with 3 couples (6 people in total). Plus: Each bedroom has a huge own bathroom. During our stays, there was a college tournament held in Mauna Lani Golf course and we enjoyed their play from our terrace. It was so much fun. We also enjoyed BBQ at the terrace. Minus: None in particular. We definitely want to go back there again. Had a very wonderful stay. Thanks.
We had an absolutely great time. The amenities were excellent and we throughly enjoyed our stay. We can’t wait to come back.
Tried to find someone at property To speak to Door was not closed It actually was broken and I called to have it repaired later in our stay Even tried my code to see if I was able to check Iin Walked in asking “anyone here” Then a maintenance person came to door And said you can’t check in Misunderstanding Property manager was rude when I spoke to him We stayed here knowing there was a hot tub We love them Use one every day! No one notified us Would not stay at this property again Very unprofessional manager He belittled me And I am old Rented many many property’s Saying I should not have entered the property I think, why did my code work then ?
We arrived to a clean, well stocked house- from cookware to serving ware and storage for leftovers. Great places to bike (provided) and walk to- the ponds, petroglyphs, mauna Lani beach and club, neighboring hotels for a drink. 2 hour drive to volcano national park, 15 minutes to hapuna beach, 15 minutes to grocery store, 45 minutes to Kona brewery. Beautiful lanai frequented by goats. Very spacious for 6 adults and 2 kids. Bonus- each bedroom had its own large bathroom! Garage sucked with beach gear - wagon, coolers, umbrellas, chairs, snorkel gear, sand toys, boogie boards. 6 or 7 Beach towels were available for use. We did not need to contact the owners while there. Would highly recommend!
Centrally located in gorgeous Mauna Lani. House had everything - snorkel gear, bikes, boogie boards, coolers; kitchen had all the pots, pans, utensils, food storage, spices, you name it. Very hard to find places that sleep nine people. I will book again!
The home was gorgeous as was the pool and spa. The kitchen was very well equipped. Loved the walls of windows that totally opened up the gathering area. The separate bungalows were thoroughly enjoyed and added privacy. We all highly recommend this Hawaii rental.
The only item we had an issue with was that the air conditioning was programmed not allowing temperature to be set below 72 degrees. Even with the fans on at night, it was not comfortable sleeping. 70 might have been a better temperature.
