Normally resort passes cost $100/adult and $60/child but when staying at this home use for up to 10 people is COMPLIMENTARY with no additional cost each and every day of your stay. This includes use of resort pools, the river pool, waterslides, hot tub, saltwater lagoon for snorkeling, lounge chairs, towels and parking validation for one vehicle.
It also includes a 10% discount on Spa Treatments, 10% discount on Lagoon toys and Cabana rentals.

This 4 bedroom home is fully furnished with (2) Primary Suites, each with a private ensuite, and King size bed.
The third bedroom is furnished with (2) Queen beds.
The 4th bedroom with (2) twin XL mattresses that can be joined to make a king.
A Rollaway can be brought for an 11th guest (Best suited for a child)
The home was just updated to remove bedroom carpets so the home has New hardwood floors throughout the living area and all bedrooms.
The airy open concept main floor includes kitchen, dining area, great room, and large lanai with outdoor kitchen. The dining room table will comfortably accommodate 8 people plus another 4 at the lanai outdoor table, or 4 at the expansive kitchen island. The large unbelievably comfortable couch and chair in the great room are perfect for relaxing after a long day of fun in the sun! The great room is perfect for relaxing, playing games, listening to music on the sound-bar, watch the game, or relax with a movie on large UltraHD TV.
The main floor lanai, equipped with BBQ, outdoor living room, and dining area is a perfect place to enjoy throughout the day. Each lanai is tastefully furnished for your comfort and enjoyment. Whether you're celebrating a birthday, anniversary, a new job, retirement, or simply celebrating the sunshine, our home is sure to create a great experience.

We love building really big sand castles. Kohala sand is exceptional for this and we have the tools for kids and adults alike. For your day at the beach, you'll find:
• Comfortable beach chairs, beach mats, umbrella's, sand toys and sandcastle making equipment, and more
• Supplies and instructions how to build an amazing large sand castle with your kids.
• Large collection of snorkel gear in multiple sizes so you can share the wonders of the ocean
• Boogie boards to enjoy playing in the waves
• Life jackets, swim belts for the younger ones
• Large wheeled cooler and Tupperware containers for your beach picnic
Enjoy our collection of bikes (adult, youth and kids with helmets and locks) allowing you to explore the Mauna Lani resort. They are great for going to the Private Beach Club, exploring the Black Sand Beach, historical grounds, Fairmont resort hotel or the many other wonderful places that Mauna Lani has to offer. Having traveled with our kids when they were young we know how difficult it is to lug all the baby equipment. Our goal is to make your life easier so we have equipped our vacation home with:

Things to do:
Staying in KaMilo gives you full access to its Recreation Center with fitness equipment and multiple hot tubs and lap pool, free form pool and kiddie pool.
You can also take advantage of the clean private beach club staffed with lifeguards and the Napua Restaurant just two miles away. Excellent snorkeling in calm waters!
A short drive away are the six (6) of the most spectacular beaches in Hawaii including Beach 69, Hapuna beach and the breath-taking Mauna Kea beach.
The Kohala coast is a golfer's paradise with seven (7) challenging courses all within 7 miles of our villa.
Minutes down the street is the Shops at Mauna Lani where you can find supermarket, coffee shops, restaurants, clothing and accessory stores, art, and free weekly entertainment in the evenings.

No working hot tub the entire stay. No ac the first day and night. Door sensors broke. Fixed next day by turning them off. No but water first 24 hours. I had to figure out that it had been turned off at breaker. So after a day of travel we could not shower till next afternoon. Bathtub would not drain. Keys to pool area did not work well. Sometimes it would take us over 5 minutes of playing with the lock to get in. Mice running through kitchen and bedroom daily. After 20 plus stays on the island this is my first complaint. This is the type of issues I would expect from a lower end condo. Not one at this price point.
We go every year. We all love Hawaii and our house was perfect. Beautiful, private beach , and wonderful golf courses. We look forward to next year.

Quite great place to stay. Don’t hang a towel on the lani as you will get a call. Lots of rules. Very clean with great space for everyone. We had four adults and four kids from 2-13 years. Lots of extras come with the rental property. From beach chairs and snorkel equipment to umbrella and strollers. We would absolutely stay here again. Beach club is amazing.
The house was perfect for our family! Absolutely beautiful kitchen, stocked very well. There's a glass for every drink you could think of! The deck was perfect with a great view. Our kids loved the pool and hot tub, just a short walk away from the condo. The bikes were a big bonus! We all had fun riding around the area and to the market. The beach equipment was so wonderful to have; chairs, umbrellas, sand toys, snorkel gear! The only thing I would mention is that the twin beds would not be recommended for an adult. One of the beds was pretty uncomfortable and creaky. No big deal for kids, but for an adult it would be pretty frustrating. We would definitely stay here again! Super impressed with the house, the neighborhood, the response time from management. It was a wonderful experience!

Overall great stay. Rooms were comfortable and clean. The house was well-appointed for families and people who want to cook in the kitchen. Pretty close to the pool area/fitness room. Couches and chairs were comfortable. Good communication with the management company, I would use them again. Just a few little things to note but they don't diminish my rating: The bathrooms could use a few more bath towels (we didn't request more so that was our choice), the freezer isn't cold enough, we tried to lower the temp but it didn't set (I'm sure we were doing something wrong but didn't have time to call the management company and deal with it), the blankets were a bit thin (personal preference), the BBQ grill wouldn't ignite so we used the lighter in the kitchen to manually ignite the grill (we called, they said they would send someone down but no one came, it was fine as it worked in the end with the manual lighting), the shower faucet handle in the downstairs hallway bathroom was a bit finnicky, the kitchen doesn't have 9x13 pans (luckily we brought our own), and one of the bikes in the garage is unusable and should be trashed.
My family and I really enjoyed our stay at One Upon a Tide. The home was bright and clean and conveniently located to get to the best beaches. We took the bikes to explore the super family friendly community almost daily. You need to drive to the beach, but given all of the boogie boards, chairs, umbrellas, and other fun things provided we would have wanted to anyway. We saved a ton by cooking many meals on the BBQ and in the large kitchen and only went out occasionally. This was the perfect home base for our stay on the Big Island. We can't wait to come back!
