It is an easygoing base for families, couples, and friends who want beach days without a complicated plan.
Getting Around:
Kona International Airport is roughly 20 to 30 minutes away, an easy drive up the Kohala Coast. A rental car is recommended to reach beaches, restaurants, and the resort area's shops with ease. Waikoloa Beach Resort keeps some shopping and dining walkable, while nearby beaches and Waikoloa Village are a short drive. Parking is generally available in resort lots or on site at most properties.

Overall this condo is lovely in a beautiful location. The outdoor lanai was huge and comfortable. Unfortunately the twin beds in the second bedroom were extremely noisy every time you moved. They were not uncomfortable but ridiculously creaky. Better suited for children, not adults. Also the codes to access pool and fitness area were incorrect so we had to troubleshoot that.
Great space! Pool area was amazing! Both our kids and parents both loved it. Would definitely stay again.
Very beautiful and very clean suite on the top floor of the building. 2 large bedrooms and bathrooms, with a huge lanai. Kitchen has everything one could possibly need. Designated parking is directly in front of the building. The entire The Shores development is beautiful, well maintained and quiet.
It was clean, spacious, comfortable. Great view and quiet. Would like to stay there again.

What a great place to stay. We love the community, the people, the magnificent views and the birds make for remarkable visits to our favorite island.
We had a wonderful stay in this condo, great location, sunset views from the lanai. Condo was clean, stocked with everything we needed, even beach chairs, umbrella and accessories. Minor recommendations to replace master bedroom pillows and the twin beds are pretty squeaky. Pool area was great and was never busy. We will be rebooking.
We truly enjoyed our stay. The rental is within walking distance to the beach and shopping areas. Truly relaxing in this peaceful setting. Having breakfast on the Lanai was peaceful. The kitchen was well stocked, the bed in the master bedroom was extremely comfortable, and the beach supplies were plentiful. I would highly recommend these accommodations!
This home had everything we needed and more. The lanai is wonderful and very large with plenty of furniture options - tables, chairs and chaise lounges for hanging out and also enjoying sunset. We loved the quiet neighborhood location but really convenient short walk to other area attractions including beaches, trails, Kings and Queens Marketplaces, etc. Pool was very nice as well.
