The House at Log Cabins is situated with ocean and sunset views, caressed by tradewinds, and framed by swaying palm trees. Its large, partially shaded deck is ideal for outdoor dining, checking the surf or watching humpback whales breach. Down the steps from the 40 foot lawn out front are miles and miles of white sand beach and the Pacific Ocean as your playground.
Perfect for three couples, a family (possibly two), or a group of close friends, 'Log Cabins' is a comfortable and peaceful retreat that sleeps up to eight. It’s a fantastic spot for the outdoor enthusiast, or the leisure buff. Your level of activity is up to you.
Living at Log Cabins is simple, yet luxurious. Bedrooms outfitted with King sized mattresses ; and another room has a pull-out double couch. The latter is great for sleeping kids or anyone who doesn't require a closed door. All bedrooms have sizeable closets, and there are three full baths.
The kitchen was designed to be functional, open and spacious with a large island and top-of-the-line appliances. It is often a focal point of activity, and was therefore designed to be easy to clean and maintain a great feature if you plan on eating in a lot (hint: you won’t want to leave the property).

It was the best home we have ever stayed in on the North Shore. We loved the location, we LOVED the house and everything worked, we loved the two shaded patios that looked to the ocean. The property manager, Pete Johnson was very responsive and helpful. We would love to come again. What a beautiful experience.
Hands down, the one of the best rentals we've ever booked. The location is absolutely unmatched—walk out the sliding doors onto the beach and step out of the front gate onto the North Shore's famous bike path. Heaven. The house is walking distance to food trucks, the grocery store and several beaches. The location and views from the house are absolutely stunning—we were rarely inside. We traveled with our 2 year old son and the yard was a perfect and safe place to play. Our one note is that the amenities in the house itself didn't exactly make for a "luxury" stay. Towels provided were old/stained and there was a strong mildew smell in the washing machine. We spend most of our time outside on the sand so these weren't big issues for us. Also worth noting that there is no A/C in the house. This was mostly not an issue for our April stay but one of the bedroom ceiling fans wasn't working and consequently temperatures in that room easily reached the mid-80s. Overall you will not regret booking—just bring your own towels!

Views for days. Upstairs lanai is very nice. Steps down to the beach. All the appliances and bits you need to cook and bbq. Mahalo for the stay!
Great location and great surf right out front. Weather was not ideal so it was nice to have a dry house to relax in and stay dry. I’ll definitely be back to stay at this house.

This VRBO is in the best location at North shore. We had at least 10' swells, lots of surfers to watch, and the weather was out standing (90-91). Sandy beach just down the stair from the backyard. Little gecko's everywhere! Very large kitchen which is great for family gatherings, and placing out food on oversize island. We'd stay here again if owners relist, or allow renting! Checking out of this rental today after 9 days! This house was exactly what we had hoped for. It is accurately represented in the listing. It was spotless when we arrived and the location and view is outstanding. We primarily used the outdoor shower which we always enjoy. Hot Tub was a nice bonus too. You can't beat the views from the lower and upper deck. We had 6 guests. My family of 5 and mother in law. Everyone had ample room. While we didn't cook much in favor of the many food trucks in the area, the kitchen is well stocked. Foodland is super close The traffic on the north shore is heavier than I remember. It seems as though it all stems from "turtle beach" ..that being said, some of the same food trucks in Haleiwa are also located in the opposite direction of this property, well past sunset beach there is a large food truck area including a Giovanni's truck with a smaller line and better parking than Haleiwa. Really hope this property is still available in a couple years when we might be able to come back! Much better than staying in a hotel and so convenient to walk out the door to the beach when ever the mood strikes and hear the waves constantly. Thx so much for a great stay!
It’s our second stay and once again it was such a beautiful experience. The owner and manager are pleasant, accommodating and helpful. The house is homey and comfortable for the size of 4 kids and 4 adults. Equipped with all kitchen needs. Walking distance to the grocery store and shark cove. Sunset is gorgeous in front of the house. Everything we could ask for plus more. Love, love it. Coming back again 💛
